Went in for lunch while traveling and had a burger special with fries and order of wings and onion rings. The staff were awesome. The chicken wings were meaty and hot. The onion rings were great. This is not my first time eating from here I usually get the chicken sub , but today I tried something different , I ask the cook could I get grill fish instead of fried , he talk to the owner and was told it may break up which is ok with me !! I just wanted grill !! Came here with a group of work mates for lunch. Never have been here before but one of my work mates suggested we come here. Our server was very friendly and took our orders correctly. I ordered the shrimp stir fry with cheese on top. Another work mates suggested order other same thing without cheese, another ordered the fish sandwich with fries, another the Philly with fries and another the lunch special with 3 wings and fries. Yesterday (August 12, 2024) my wife and I drove into Gaston, NC on our way back to SC. We didn't want chain food and were looking for a local eatery. We saw this place and backtracked about 7 miles from I-95 and are glad we did. Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. We could talk with our server and the cooks while they worked to exchange info and jokes with them. We both had stir fry dishes, mine was shrimp and the wife's was steak. A lot of food. This place will be a mandatory stop from now on whenever we travel along the East coast. This will be my first review of 2022! I think that this food was worthy of being #1! I was traveling North Carolina from DC when I got seriously hungry. I could have chosen any of the off-the-road eateries, but I wanted something amazing. Well, I found the amazing flavorful experience that I needed to finish my trip. This restaurant was about 7 minutes over the North Carolina state line and 6 minutes off the highway. Well worth the effort to get there. And to find a lunch special with 5-6 items that were reasonably priced was perfect. We got the wings and French fries and Philly Cheesesteak. The wings were fried to perfection and the cheesesteak was better than any cheesesteak that I have had in Philadelphia. I grew up 15 minutes from Philadelphia so I have tried all the cheesesteaks in Philadelphia. I am always reluctant to try Philly Cheesesteaks outside of Philly but I found a winner. If you are in the area or traveling through NC make sure you stop here for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed!!! read more

My stir fry is Always good. I've gotten shrimp, chicken, and the veggie plate and it's been 10/10 each time for me. My mom and niece love the cheeseburger. But the last two times they said the burger tasted a little burnt and wasn't as good as the first time. So we don't get the burger anymore. But everything else is good. read more

I'm from Raleigh and am currently in Gaston temporarily for work. Been here two times in the last week and can't recommend this enough. The cooks and crew seem passionate about the great food they cook and it reflects in their dishes. I recommend getting any of their chicken, and definitely some bacon cheese fries. But it's all good. I need these guys to expand to Raleigh, or at least somewhere closer! read more

Throughly enjoyed the staff/team here!! Very friendly and helpful! If you need anything they will make sure they provide for it for you! I had the stir fry which was really good. Had a bit of sweetness with it but they give you a very generous amount of food for your money. My boyfriend had the fish, which he said was really good as well. We stopped here to grab a bite on the way to Roanoke Rapids. What a wonderful grill! I split a Chicken stir fry with a friend. Big serving sizes. The food was delicious! The owners were very pleasant! I would go back. The menu had everything from burgers and hot dogs, sandwiches and several different Stir Fry Dishes. It appeared to have a big lunch crowd. We were visiting relatives at Lake Gaston and found this little place about 15 minutes away. It was great! My wife and I found this little place through Yelp. Very friendly people. It's a small place but we're able to get table right away. So real folks came in to get take out so clearly is a popular place. We both had stir fry, one shrimp and one chicken. Both were delicious!
