We were originally going to go to some other place, but realized it was full service and didn't want to waste a lot of time. We wasted like 20 minutes looking around figuring out something, we were desperate and pulled into Zaxby's. This is supposed to be fast food, but I think we ended up waiting a good 30 minutes for our food. We were pissed. Food was pretty good but nothing to write home about either (Bojangles is way better and seeing they are in Roanoke Rapids; we should've gone there! Or most anywhere else). My friend said he would've just gone with McDonald's or whatever he knew, which I adamantly disagreed saying McDonald's is weak, but did acknowledge we wasted too much time with lunch. And I wanted to go to a place we couldn't get in our area. Cook Out would've been quick, but I didn't discover them until 2024 in southwestern VA. Even Diary Queen would've been quick and right by here. I really screwed up with this choice. No way of knowing for sure. Also, parking was a nightmare and traffic getting out of the parking lot to get back onto 95.

They have a big confusing menu with a lot of options so I wouldn't advise you to make a decision using their website on what you want before going to the restaurant. Also, this is a Christian based family business that plays Christian music in their stores which was a bit strange to me but I didn't come for the music.
