After picking my suit up next day, I noticed when packing it for my flight some holes in the fabric. So why the five star review? Maurice and Teresa (the owners), and their staff, handled me bringing the suit back very professionally. They took my suit, and as soon as Maurice and Teresa got in, they gave me a call and invited me back to the shop to look at it and discuss together. They gave me their opinion and presented evidence that considering the fabric type (100% wool) and nature of the damage, that this was most likely the result of moth larvae. They offered me a means to test if I did not believe this, and to compensate if this was not proven wrong. Maurice also gave advice on how to store and care for wool fabrics to prevent this in the future. The manner they went about this was very courteous professional and earnest. I later verified their claims through my own research online, and it appears to be a common issue. I am a firm believer that you can test the quality of a team by how they handle and respond to problems. In this case I was impressed throughout the services performed and the response to the problem, and while I am not staying in town long enough to make regular use of their services, I would trust them enough to come back again.
