ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS BUSINESS IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY …read more This storage facility is the worst , if possible, I would give a negative star rating ....they DO NOT provide the security that they promise and when your items are stolen , the manager SAUL SOTO will tell you that they have no liability or obligation to protect your property and provide the security that they are obligated to by contract and for which I was paying almost $200 per month. FACTS. 1. My 2018 Arctic Cat Wildcat off-road vehicle was stolen from this facility over Father's Day , the vehicle was on a trailer with a ball hitch lock and the vehicle was chained and padlocked to the trailer. The trailer has a 4 foot tall rear ramp/ gate that was backed up to the facility wall. The trailer does not have a rolling wheel on the stand, so the only way to move it is to lift the entire tongue of the trailer, with the vehicle on it , in order to be moved , this could not have been done by on person alone. 2. The facility DID NOT notify the police when they found the empty trailer in front of the parking spot on Monday morning and waited until Tuesday afternoon to send me an email stating that I should call them about my storage space . 3. I called and spoke to SAUL SOTO, the manager, and he was completely unconcerned and dismissive of my property being stolen and stated that it was not his responsibility to report a break-in and theft from his facility. I then called EL Paso PD, and a stolen vehicle report was filed. 4. When I asked about obtaining the security camera footage of the area , SAUL informed me that the security cameras in that area were conveniently not working. When I rented the storage space , I specifically chose that spot because I was told that there was 24/7 camera coverage of the area. This was a major deciding factor in storing my vehicle there because I felt that it was fully enclosed , had gated / entry code access and adequate camera coverage. 5. SAUL then informed me that they were going to have my trailer towed to another location so that they could repave their parking area , this amounts to tampering with and covering up/ destroying evidence of the crime. 6. When I arrived back in town on Friday June 20th , I went to the facility to speak with SAUL and was informed the he unexpectedly had taken the day off. There was another temporary worker named Chris, who said that he had been with the company for several years and stated he had been called to replace SAUL that day , and that it was his last day with the company. During our subsequent conversation, he revealed that there had been numerous break-ins and property thefts from this facility since SAUL SOTO had been the manager there. He also told me that he had previously been a loss prevention specialist with KMART, and after I explained to him what had happened, he told me that the circumstances were odd and very suspicious. I agree that the circumstances are very suspicious starting with SAUL's dismissive attitude and complete lack of concern regarding my property being stolen from his facility, the cameras conveniently " not working " , the failure to notify me in a timely manner, the fact that they didn't file a police report about their facility being broken into , and the tampering with evidence before the police had investigated, are all very suspicious indeed. With that being said , I am offering a $1000.00 dollar reward for information that leads to the recovery of my vehicle and the arrest / conviction of the people responsible for the theft .
