This was not my my first time here at his new shop and I know that this is place will become my regular. He has a wide variety of services along with a basic haircut, shaves, facial massages, etc. The back of his shop has a few very comfortable chairs and and large hanging TV so you can actually go there and just hang out... kinda like the old days. Joey's is closed on Saturdays and open Sundays. He is a true gentleman and I really want to see him and the shop thrive.

While the first appointment was pleasant, I left with an unexpected brassy brown shade that didn't reflect the highlighted color I had asked for. Still, I trusted her recommendation and returned for a follow-up. I arrived 10 minutes late due to a family emergency, which I clearly explained to the staff. I also mentioned I had a flight in just a few hours. Despite this, I was left waiting for an entire hour before being informed that Amela would only be able to cut my hair--not color it. A client's time is just as valuable as the stylist's. If being 10 minutes late was truly going to prevent the full service, that should have been communicated upfront--instead of making me wait unnecessarily. Frankly, I wouldn't want someone working on my hair who thinks ten minutes is enough time to rush through a proper appointment. This experience was deeply unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will not be returning.

The massage chair didn't have as many settings as I've experienced elsewhere but it did the job. The manicure was great as well. A few times I nodded off from being so relaxed right a the manicure table, I nearly flipped the bowl my hand was in from nodding. I will go back
