I've been trying to cancel my membership for months. I sent in a written request to cancel my…read moremembership and received a call from the location to discuss my request. When I called back, I was told I either have to come in Monday - Friday to cancel (which I can't do) or send certified mail to confirm the cancellation even though they can confirm they have my original cancellation letter already... it doesn't make sense.

This is MYYYYY gym man!…read more Great set-up! Lots of cardio equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, ect.) Nice spacious weight room! I like that they have a little stretching area between cardio and weights and it's kind of out of the way so u don't feel like everyone is staring at you. I don't care for carpet in a gym, but whatevs this place has everything you could need in a gym! Price is extremely fair! No showers and bathroom is kinda small and doesn't have any of the nice fancy additives (like hair dryers or anything like that) that some gyms do. Staff is usually pretty friendly! ONLYYYYYY beef is that they don't allow the women to wear just a sports bra top, you have to wear a shirt, which is annoyinnngggggggg b/c it's just another layer to get all sweaty and gross. I personally just like to wear just a sports bra as a top. But.. I get it. I go to the Edmond location where they have never had a problem with it... which is GREATTTTTTT b/c honestly... that probably would be a deal breaker for me. Overall this is a great gym and will continue working out here as long as they keep me locked into the rate I'm at!!!

Stephanie Fowler Shaklee will gladly share with you her weight struggles in the past and how she has shifted her mentality and approach to fitness as a result! She even has a blog you can follow if interested (iamcoachfowler.com). The gym provides regular bootcamps, 6 days a week, that last about 45 minutes. Their program is designed to use body weight exercises, explosive cardio, and metabolic resistance training to help enhance your fitness. You're guaranteed to leave there with a good arse-kicking! You can sign up for the classes individually or enroll in a monthly membership. Since I don't live in Oklahoma, I just pay the drop-in fee of $10 each time and it's totally worth it! All you need to bring with you is a set of weights (most folks start with 5lbs), your water bottle, and a towel to wipe off if you "glisten" like I do! :) If you're interested in joining a gym where you actually feel like family, this is the one. I promise you'll want to come back after your first visit for the bootcamp and the folks who will make you feel like you're a team on this fitness journey!

The rack was "back ordered" for 3 weeks we were told. There was zero follow-up, I had to drive to store to speak with Colton, who has made this transaction agonizing. Turns out the rack we paid for in a set was discontinued. They offered the floor model. Floor model was finally delivered, but once weights were placed on rack it looked like it would tip forward-a safety risk.  Colton promised to get back to us the next day. We waited again. More texts once again begging for information. Eventually, he offered another option we said fine. Despite our efforts to communicate, we still don't know where, when or if this new rack will show -up.  We are going on 3 months now, no apology, zero offer to make it right, tons of excuses, no follow-up. We decided to give one last try to get information this week.  Text ignored again.  We will be contacting our bank. The Incomplete set shouldn't be sold to begin with but once that happened the company should  make it right, at minimum respond to questions. We have all the documentation.  So much time and frustration for something that should have been easily rectified. RUN from PUSH PEDAL PULL.

I noticed one of my friends in San Antonio going to f45 through his posts on social media for the past two years and became intrigued, so I was happy when one of my best friends told me this past summer that f45 is opening in NW OKC!! My friend and I attended a couple of outdoor events in August and September promoting the new gym, and I was HOOKED!! I like that this team training gym already does the workout planning ahead for you with experienced trainers, and only 45 minutes long. Being a busy mom in grad school, this is probably all the time I can dedicate each day, but I still feel an amazing burn! Location: There is plenty of parking spaces, but when pulling out of your parking spot be careful, because it is a very busy area. Definitely pay attention to your surroundings! Trainers: I cannot say enough about how amazing the trainers are! Every one of them are extremely friendly. The owner, Charlie is from Dallas and was at the gym for the first week or so to welcome new members/people trying out the gym. Daniel, Brooke, Hayley, Ashley B., Ashley E. and Kara are so super friendly, welcoming, and motivating. I believe another trainer will be joining soon, Gerard. The workouts can get tough, but the trainer leading each session will help you if you find trouble with a workout or need an extra boost of encouragement. Workouts: This is team-based, circuit training style workout. Each workout is 45 minutes long, and you will leave the gym sweating and wake up the next morning a good sore! The gym is separated into different "Pods" and you will for example do 45 seconds of an exercise (e.g. barbell deadlifts), 20 seconds of rest, and then either move to the next exercise or repeat the same exercise. Every day varies on how the circuits are arranged and there are so many new and different types of workouts so your body gets a good range and variety or movements. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are cardio days, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are resistance/strength training days. Saturdays are 1 hour long and a combination of strength and cardio, while Sundays are resistance and I would say the "easiest" days..but you will nevertheless still get an amazing workout! I signed up for the membership early on so I got a little bit of a discount. Download the MINDBODY or f45 app to sign up for a membership and schedule your classes. You can try the gym for 7 days for free, and then do a $19 two week membership. If you decide to join, I believe the price is only $149 a month. It actually differs depending on which location you choose, but since I joined early...my total cost after taxes is $151 a month! Progress: I have seen SUCH a huge difference since joining only 2 months ago. I am 11 months postpartum and am still trying to lose the mommy belly, but I am slowly getting there and f45 is helping a TON. Join f45, you will NOT be disappointed!
