We really appreciated the check-in calls leading up to the wedding where he took the time to really understand what we were looking for. Tony is great at posing and giving instructions to look stylish instead of awkward and to create some natural-looking variation between photos. He took a variety of photos ranging from individual to large group (~30 people) as well as from formal to fun. No need to look at any other photographers out there, if youre on long island, this is your best bet. Reasonable prices. Our wedding was 11/11/18, post wedding, completely unsolicited review. The 4 Best points of the day: 1) Trisha and her second shooter Connie, were absolutely flexible, professional and unphased by some morning delays. Plans changed on the fly, and they were SO reassuring and helpful. They worked extremely hard to de-stress all of us, and ended up getting a ton of great pictures. The rest of the event went well after some morning issues regarding make-up and bridal hair prep not being done on time. 2) When we were on the dance floor they werent in the way. Just present (having a fun time) not intrusively in the way like you've seen some photographers/videographers. They were just this fun energy, sometimes dancing, laughing, joking... they looked like they were having a good time shooting and enjoying the wedding! At the end of the night, we couldnt think of any time where they intruded on the moment. Just took in everything through their cameras. It was really remarkable. 3) Preliminary photos we saw were outrageously good. We got a bunch of teasers back, and they made us look great! 4) Energy was positive and fun. Words can't express how amazing Chris and Aenid are!…read more I had decided pretty last minute that I HAD to have a videographer for our wedding (about a month prior!) - which lead to sleepless nights watching demo videos online and trying to find a videographer who created beautiful wedding highlights, was within our budget, and was still available for our wedding day! All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video.
