Their packages are reasonably priced for the current photography/videography rates, and we actually booked their DJ service in addition to these two parts for our wedding last month. Andre and Tony An were our photographers, and they were professional, efficient, and got incredible shots of the whole day. We were married Sept. 2017 and booked S27 for photo, video, and DJ/live entertainment. Boy Wonder was our photographer and he was so much fun and took so many beautiful photos for us. Sam was our cinematographer and, although we haven't gotten our video back yet, we are certain he killed it in true S27 fashion. Our MC Dan did a great job keeping the crowd's energy up and he was so helpful throughout the planning process. If you're looking to book performers of any kind, we totally recommend doing a Saxophonist. We had one as well as a Percussionist but our Saxophonist Curtis was able to interact with the crowd so much more- he was dancing with everyone and everyone loved him being there. Studio 27 has an incredible team. Steve Germano, a co-owner of Studio 27, connected with us from the start. He was our MC and kept the party going, while also coordinating very well with the staff at Westbury Manor. Our DJ, Sal, played a mix of music that brought different groups of people onto the dance floor. We decided to add in a percussionist for a more lively feel, which our guests really enjoyed. We loved working with our photographer, Cezar, and his assistant, Amy. They were so focused on getting all of the shots we wanted and keeping us on schedule, but they did not overwhelm us. Cezar takes excellent photos and is known for his ability to capture candid moments. He is also a very sweet guy with a great sense of humor which makes him easy to work with. read more

We used Studio 27 DJs for our wedding and we couldn't be happier! Everyone was dancing all night and commented on how great the music was. Dan was our MC and kept the party going as well as facilitated with Harbor Club to make sure we were on schedule throughout the night. The photo booth attendant was great as well! They even sent us home with a book filled with every photo strip that was taken and our guests were able to sign the book after they took the photos. They are professional and very reasonably priced. Long over due. Unfortunately for me, Studio 27 made too many mistakes worth forgiving. Further my wedding was May of 2017, and I am still trying to tie loose ends together with the company. Let's pretend for a minute that the photos were what is advertised (which they're not), the only way I received any type of photo/video/trailer was me initiating the conversation which prompted a response "oh yes they're ready". 4 weeks for sneak peak photos (even though after 1 week they told me they'd send some over), no editing, terrible lighting, and too busy talking to get the shot I paid the drone for. Moreover the GM Lauren refunded $300 for the missed drone shot and a "free" wedding album. (I put free in parentheses because I had to pay $300 for the cover that I liked because it was the only thing not included in the "free" album, which I was recieving due to their negligence and general inability to do their job as photographers, and deliver what was advertised and sold.) Later I found out from Franco, an owner, Lauren had to pay back out of pocket, the $300 refund, because it was "unauthorized". My photographer was Matt, who admitted at the Larkfield he'd never seen the grounds; how am I paying almost $10k and the photographer doesn't even know the location/grounds. The detail in my dress? Not one photo that highlighted it. A photo of me with my family? Non existent. A photo with my grandparents? Negative. BETTER, one of the WHOLE bridal party, non existent. Night shots? They claim they "asked the groom", who does not recall them "asking". In fact my husband is the one who noted the lack of night shots. Studio 27 claims this was "a missed match" photographer to client however, I believe that they advertise a specific photographer, Neo, and unfortunately he can not shoot every wedding... so those who do not get Neo get 1995 photos, generic and unfortunately not worth 1/5 of what was paid. Thankfully, I was able to reshoot with neo (even though I spent nearly 1k in flowers, hair make up blah blah) with Neo and he was able to get some flawless shots worth framing. Everything with them is pulling teeth. If they're going to miss a deadline, they blame it on "the outside company" that's handling it, A death, Or simply don't reply to your email. Once the wedding is over, you are on your own! Pick your own photos, buy your own USB, build your own album, etc. Don't expect help and certainly don't expect a response. Think twice, and if you book be specific. Ask for Neo. Don't accept whoever they assign you. I also booked the DJ and unfortunately I felt like I was at my grandmas 50 birthday brunch. The music was easily from the late 80s (meanwhile I was born in the early 90's) and I didn't even know half the songs. There were a few requested songs, that got played while we were in another room for the Venetian hour, which I heard faintly in the distance. And my dad requested a song to be played for him and my Mom to dance to, since they hadn't had a formal wedding of there own, and that never happened. This complaint takes a back seat. If I could do it again, I'd stay away. read more

I had a wonderful experience with studio 27 and their staff from the beginning. I dealt with one of the owners, Steve and he gave me a great package deal that worked best for our wedding. The day of, I was blessed to have Boy wonder and crew. He was more than my photographer. Even when I lost my girls, boy wonder was by my side the whole time helping me with my dress, veil ect. Also, on the day of the wedding, we had to change photo locations cause of heavy traffic, and the crew was so great on making it all work out. They stopped oncoming traffic as long as they could so we could take our downtown city shots which weren't originally planned. Additionally, I cannot leave my video guys out. They did great work and were so much fun to have around!! Overall, the final product is breathtaking and the video still brings tears to my eyes. read more

Where do i begin first off when my fiancé and i walked in to studio 27 and it was a beautiful place. Tina the receptionist offered us wine or a beer ( amazing in my book ) then meeting with Franco, he made us feel extremely comfortable, explained everything in great detail and made sure we had no questions left to ask. we knew right then and there we wanted STUDIO 27 to be part of our BIG DAY!. once we booked the customer service STAYED amazing. We were notified by Tina every step of the way for the next step there was never a question on what where, who or when with them they are very organized and professional. On to our wedding day. we had two photographer and one cinematographer along with two assistants.: (Brian Martin - Main Photographer Derrick Huynh - Second Photographer Paul Khan - Main Cinematographer Paytn DiGregorio)- Photo Assistant Erick Shervington - Video Assistant. all i can say is they were ALL AMAZING! Brian walked into my parents house with a very warm and comforting personality along with funny. He made sure we were always laughing!... Paul also was great him and Brain made sure they worked together and made sure their ideas as photographers were both fulfilled and to make sure they got the best pictures and angles they can possible get. Derrick was at our house where my husband to be was getting ready. I hired them for my son's wedding for video only. While we were satisfied with the final videos (long and short versions), it took over TWO YEARS of phone call after phone call, email after email to get the long and final version. There was absolutely no reason for the delay; they were paid in full! Each time my son spoke to them he was promised they would be delivered within a week. He finally got results when he refused to speak to anyone but the owner. He got married in September 2019 and we didn't receive the final product until February of 2022. I went to my best friend's beautiful wedding on Saturday and everything was perfect, except the DJ/MC services provided by this company. My friends are a same sex couple and the MC continually and without remorse kept referring to them as Mr./Mrs., Bride & Groom, Husband & Wife. I understand the initial slip up but after their entrance and seeing two handsome men walking in you'd think the MC would wise up. Not only were my friends embarrassed but the guests were mortified. I mentioned this to the MC multiple times and he told me "it's not a big deal". Wake up guy, it's 2018, and these two men are paying you to be here so show some respect. If you don't want to read a really long review just do yourself a favor and book Studio 27. They feed all of their staff the same type of something because they are all as sweet as pie. (Maybe the tequila chocolate ice cream they gave us, DELISH!!) This review is for customer service and the e-shoot. I want to mention Tina which is the first person we spoke to at Studio. Tina helped us mold a package that had everything we wanted on our special day. We must have gone back and forth for a month, this lady was on vacation answering my emails, two face to face visits and numerous calls. Never once a complain, never once rude, just smiles, kindness patience oh and it helps that she is hilarious too. Dealing with me I would have given me a couple of eye rolls maybe ignored some emails or calls but not even once. Tina once emailed me at 5:00am with some ideas. WHO DOES THIS? Tina does! She is really just so great!! Secondly, I have to mention Paytn, she helped us coordinate our e-shoot. What an angel this woman is. If I bothered Tina poor Paytn got it tenfold. I knew I wanted the e-shoot at a beach with sunset pictures I just had no idea where. Paytn showed me numerous samples gave me various ideas and encouraged me to bring my dog (which won my heart over instantly). We must have exchanged a hundred emails to pick a date that best worked for me and Paytn was always kind so so so so patient and just lovely in every way. In my mind I thought I was annoying her but never did she ever show that I was. The day before the shoot she called but I missed her call, the day of another call from Paytn. She answered all my questions guided me through the day assisted me with what I could do with my dog when she wasn't in pictures, really truly just so genuinely nice and caring. She could have typed it all up and sent a quick email but no she took the time she called asked me to call her if I needed help (which I later did because I got lost) she's just an angel! Not to mention I owe her a hug for pairing us with Neo, our photographer. Okay lastly, NEO! This man is so kind so patient and just truly talented. First off he called me straight to my cellphone because I was lost and guided me to where I needed to be, he then waited with me for my fiance to come out of the bathroom and then drove alongside us to park closer to the boardwalk, thats something he did not have to do he could have met us there even if it was just a few yards away, so in my book first check. Secondly as mentioned earlier I brought my dog and he was so kind and patient and really made us feel at ease and comfortable when our dog wouldn't cooperate, not a single flustered remark or even facial expression of discontent. Also, we had a change in outfits and had to walk back and forth the longest boardwalk ever created I asked him if he wanted to wait for us so that he didn't have to walk back and forth and he said no. He walked back and forth with us without a single complaint and whether or not he enjoyed it he made us feel, like what easily was a cardio workout, was a walk in the park for him. During our long strolls he made conversation with me and my fiancé and made us feel like a bunch of friends just hanging out. Mind you it takes a while to warm up to my future husband, but him and Neo clicked over car and motorcycle stuff in an instant. The part about Neo that really just made me want to hug him and call his boss and ask him to give this man a raise is that he went inside a mosquito infested bush, almost fell into the water, and almost fell off of a cliff to get great shots, not to mention he slipped about 5 times in the wet muddy sand. This poor man was eaten alive by mosquitos and may very well have caught Lyme disease (kidding!), I don't know anybody that would do this. This shoot really went above his talent which I can guarantee he has but it was more about the person he is and the way he made us feel. Thank you so much Neo for making our first time in front of a professional camera feel like a breeze. I'm sure that some people will say well all these people are just doing their job. Let me shut that down before it goes any further! I have met with various vendors and nobody comes remotely close to the staff at Studio. You can tell when customer service is good because they want to sell something but this is not the case. Studio 27 customer service is genuine its caring and it doesn't feel pressured rushed or fake. You know from the moment you walk in or pick up the phone or open an email that they truly care. So, for now all I can say is that if everyone at Studio 27 is half as great as Tina, Paytn and Neo then I am just very blessed to have them on our team on our wedding day. We received our photos weeks ago but I just haven't had the chance to update my review. Studio 27 is still an amazing photography and videography company. Our wedding was March 2018 and we are now at the end of May and my family is still taking about the wedding and how much of a fantastic job Studio 27 did. After going through the photos and making selections I have to say that Chris Son, our secondary photography did an amazing job. The quality and angles of shots were so beautiful and amazing. They lost our wedding video. Yes, you read that right.. to say that the happiest day of our lives, turned into an absolute nightmare would be an understatement. My husband and I put all of your trust into strangers that were supposed to be so professional as you may have read below, sadly this mistake they made will cost them a lot. The owners, the management, the workers are so beyond careless and unprofessional at Studio 27, I could write a book about this company. It is so sad that you put all your time, money, and trust into people on your one special day and just like that, our memories we want to look back on are gone forever. Special moments with our family that we will never see, the moments we shared together that we will never show our children, all because their workers didn't care to double check that they copied the footage onto their computer which is the most simple thing you do in the process of this. We used this company for all our vendors (DJ, photo, video, photo booth) so we spent a ton of money here. They offered us back the amount we paid just for video, as if there was any price tag on our memories. I had to wait almost 1 year to write this review, because that is how long it took for me to receive back a video that is missing 80% of the footage, my photos, my albums, etc. The problem with this company is that they bite off way more than they can chew. They have too many customers under the impression that they are amazing and they hire all these outside people and have too many hands in the pot. It all started back in November 2019 when we questioned where our trailer was as it was two months after our wedding. I went back and forth with their "video manager" Tom who assured me everything was good and they were still working on it. I then received a voicemail at 8 o'clock at night after they had closed saying they might be missing some reception footage. Little did I know, about 80% of my day was MIA. We had to wait until 12 PM the next day to talk to someone. Who delivers news like that via voicemail? One of the owners Franco calls me back and apologizes for his behavior, yet has no bedside manner himself. He says don't worry about this happens all the time, footage goes into the wrong folders, we'll find it, don't worry.. days go by as I just sit by the phone waiting for good news. Well, the bad news just kept coming. They searched and searched and could not find an entire SD card that they used of footage which turned out to have the majority of our day (including my husband getting ready, us on our church steps, reception, etc.) We were finally able to get them to meet us in person for the other owner Steve to tell us they still couldn't find it. We had the guy Ray who shot the video & the video manager Tom also in the meeting and they just played the blame game and said they don't know what happened, when really they both f**ked up and never checked if it was actually uploaded. Later, Tom finally admitted he lied straight to our face that he knew he didn't double check anything but we still have not heard back from Ray that he never properly uploaded the card in the first place. It took me, the paying customer, to have to request them to send out the hard drive to a recovery specialist as of course they did not know how to do any of this. That took another month or so to just get an answer if they found anything. So emails upon emails of me asking simple questions because again, me the paying customer would like to see if it could be anywhere else, all I receive back is an attitude like how dare I ask and no straight answer of what really happened. Every time I think or talk about my wedding day, I just get sick to my stomach. I pray this never happens to anyone else, but guess what in this company, it definitely will. Please, S27, save yourself the embarrassment of replying back to this review because I have all of the emails/voicemails saved to prove this in fact was 100% what happened. Please reconsider using them as your video/photo person because I wouldn't wish this upon my worst enemy. read more

Pictures & videos mean so much to me and they had everything I could ever ask for and then some! They have the latest technology that captures beautiful & unique photos like no other. We did the prestige package (I highly recommend it, comes with 2 photographers & 2 videographers) and we got the drone too! Our wedding trailer looks like a music/movie trailer! That's how outstanding it is! We didn't think our wedding video could be better than our trailer, since it was the best trailer we've ever seen, but guess what? It was outstanding as well! We were SOOOOOO happy with it!! I'm a VERY picky person and I like things a certain way, especially when it came to planning our wedding, but I didn't have one bad thing to say about the video or the pictures. Everything was absolutely stunning!! Neo was our photographer for our engagement photos and we loved him so much we had to have him for our wedding too. He makes you feel comfortable right away, he's hilarious & an artist with photography! Cezar was our other photographer, he was great too! We had the pleasure of having Steve (one of the owners) to be one of our videographers. He's also hilarious and makes you feel so comfortable like you've known him for years. After meeting Steve and Franco at a wedding showcase, we quickly knew that we wanted to be part of the Studio 27 family when it came to photo and video for our June 17, 2017 wedding. We worked with Franco, Steve and Lauren, and together came up with the best plan for photo and video, and we couldn't be happier! We booked both photo and video for our wedding day, as well as an engagement photo shoot. BoyWonder was our photographer for our engagement photos and we were blown away by his talent, professionalism and all around kindness. Our engagement shoot was phenomenal, we had such a great time, and it left us looking forward to hanging out with BoyWonder on our wedding day! For our wedding day we worked with BoyWonder, Steve, Dennis, Jenn, Peyton and Gino, and believe me, we had the A-TEAM, DREAM TEAM, you name it, they were beyond amazing! The entire Studio27 worked seamlessly on putting together all of our photo and video, and we are anticipating nothing but an amazing product! They worked well with both of our huge families, our bridal party and even kept the flowergirls smiling and entertained the whole day. MUST HIRE DJ/MC with photo/video!! All aspects of studio 27 really completed our day, but the way they played music for the crowd and incorporated our random must plays was really the highlight of our wedding. We booked all three services and were offered a photo booth but since we didn't want one they gave us the two TVs on the dance floor and did some quick edits of our pics from the morning and the edits were stunning. It was really nice for us and our guests to see highlights of our morning and first look. We got married at Chateau Briand and I felt like to some extent Studio really ran our event and it flowed perfectly. The reasons for the missing fifth star are that our pictures and video took a few weeks longer than we were told, I didn't like the pictures they picked for the high edits, and according to my time calculations they should have stayed for my after party (which was really the only time we had to take pics with our friends, and they're all on cell phones). I'm sure if I contact them about editing the pics I actually like that they would, and I haven't even put together the pics for my album from my September 2016 wedding yet so I do need to get in touch with them anyway. Their customer service is great, and I felt like every time we went to their office we were treated very nicely. Studio 27 had a big part in making our wedding memorable and really working the crowd. Neo was our main photographer and Cezar was our second. Both were so awesome! Knowing Neo before I even booked him I loved him. Honestly the first time I met Neo was at a wedding. I watched him jump into water knee deep just to get the perfect shot. From that day I knew he would be my photographer lol. Both of them were so much fun to work with. They make you laugh, tell jokes and make you feel so comfortable. Another story about Neo, I wanted to do a reveal with my son and he was having trouble with his bow tie. Neo put down the camera and helped my son with his bow tie and made sure he looked great. My husband said Cezar was very chill and relaxed and had them all laughing. Ray was our videographer and Jesse worked with him. Both were great! You can see how well they work together and feed off of each other. They crack jokes about each other and make you feel extremely comfortable especially when posing for those awkward moments for video . read more

Amazing customer service. We called and informed them that we would be 20-30 mins late for our appointment (coming from Astoria to massapequa in rush hour traffic is beyond a headache) and they were so kind. As we entered the receptionist pointed at the menu placed on the counter and offered us a glass of wine or a cocktail. The prices are reasonable compared to the wedding research I have done. Friendly employees. We are in the decision making portion and are contemplating them for our video - photo and even dj needs (Dan was in charge of the DJ portion and he was the most humble man ever! Our wedding was this past Saturday November 12, 2016. I knew I wanted to book studio 27 from the moment we got engaged. I stalked all of their Vimeo page just to see if they posted any new wedding trailers. I wasn't sure if we could afford them but their prices were very reasonable and honestly I would've paid double. Paolo, Steve, Amy and Trent were simply amazing!Paolo was our photographer for our engagement shoot and we insisted on having him shoot our wedding day! We met with Steve when booking and also requested that he did our cinematography as well. They were so much fun to work with and were hilarious! Studio 27 did my daughters wedding sept 6, 2014. I can't say enough great things about these men. They made us all feel so comfortable.
