I went in an asked ombre. After being told it wasn't possible with how dark my hair was I compromised. I ended up with three different colors in my hair that faded and no my hair is orange and looks terrible. This place is NOT worth it for the ridiculous prices they charge. My stylist kept adding things to my experience for no reason. I could've done my own hair better than this. :( read more

Please let me start by saying the staff at The Studio is AMAZING! They are all so helpful and friendly whenever I am there! They do fabulous work and are always so professional. So you're probably wondering why the 2 star rating...well, it's the owner. I have never been to a place of business where the owner speaks that way to her staff! I usually go there on Tuesdays when she's off so I've never had much experience with her, however my past few appointments I had to schedule on a Fridays while she was working. To say I was shocked at her behavior is an understatement! I understand that sometimes an owner/boss will have to reprimand or correct an employee, but it should be done privately and professionally! Rachelle did not think twice about criticizing and belittling her staff right there in front of other staff and clients. I understand that it is a small salon, but I'm sure she could have found a private spot to speak with those who need speaking to without humiliating them in front of everyone there! It was very sad and disappointing to witness. I truly felt terrible for the staff members in her line of fire! I will continue to go to The Studio for my hair services, because Becka is the only person I trust with my hair, but only if I can get in on a day Rachelle is not working. I refuse to be a witness to her demeaning behavior again! I really hope her staff stands up to her soon and stops allowing her to treat them so poorly, it's a shame to see such wonderful people treated that way! read more

I started going to The Studio when I first moved the Ohio City a few years ago... and now that I've moved to Twinsburg a few months ago, I STILL go there to get my hair cut. Becka is amazing. She's given me some of the best hair cuts I've ever had in my entire life. My very first cut with her was a drastic one. I chopped quite a bit off, got bangs, and had it colored. I was fabulous. I won't go any where else. Prices are more than your Best Cuts... but they are reasonable for the level of skill these men and women possess. You get what you pay for. read more

I like the Studio. I've gone there about four consecutive times now to get my hair cut, which is pretty much the most I've ever been loyal to any salon/stylist. The people are super cool, the atmosphere is laid back , and the haircuts are affordable. About $40. My stylist is Renee and she listens to what I have to say and has no ego about it. And true story, she's given me a super cute hair cut. Also the owner, Rachelle, is invested in the community and does fundraising events for various organizations throughout the year. First time at the salon. Owner did my hair cut and style. I have curly / wavy hair. Wanted a style that would work with my hair. I have tried to live with the cut several weeks and I am not happy. First when you get a haircut usually people will say I really like the way your hair looks. Not one comment... Nothing... So I spent good money and I don't like the way it looks ... I drive all the way to The Studio from Dayton to have my hair done by Renee. Not only is she absolutely BRILLIANT when it comes to my hair but she makes me laugh the entire time she is doing it! Maybe want to think this place again. I booked a perm and expected it to come out right since it is Paul Mitchell. The only reason why I gave them 2 stars because the girl which I totally forgot her name was friendly however cannot perm for nothing.!! Run away quick. She tried this "new" technique she learned with foam rollers to perm my hair which I should of got up and walked away when I seen that. Usually get my hair perm once a year and never have I ever seen this technique perform. Clearly this is why. I paid over $100 plus tips to find my hair dried with no curls. All she did was put chemicals in my hair to get it up. I disputed through my bank and they would not refund my money because the "service" was done even if it wasn't to my likings. The young lady seems to b NEW since she can't perm hair. She needs to stick with hair cutting and nothing else! Never will I ever go back there. New to Cleveland, I was nervous about finding a salon that would be creative and listen to me. I got LUCKY! I called "the studio" and got in the same day. I love the attention they provide, the interesting ambiance that they have created and the EXCELLENT job Stacy did with my highlights and style. Stacy is a fun professional who really made my experience here relaxing and enjoyable. All of the staff were upbeat and got along exceptionally well. I have gone to the studio for over a year. My service was cut cold and highlights. Renee has always done a very nice job for me. With my work schedule it is hard to keep the same stylist. Matt has done well too but after paying for cut color and highlight and asking for my usual color I left with no highlights he said it would fade. Why did I pay for highlights???? I let it go but Matt did not not only speak poorly to his coworkers about me he showed a very unprofessional attitude. It was upsetting he blamed the client. If I went back after a trim to have a little more off I always tipped him well. He is just too sensitive. And a huge ego. A professional accommodates their clients and and works to please. Things happen and mistakes happen it is attitude that makes the difference always. Matt acted unprofessional and immature. I have spent a lot of money at that salon. Renee at the studio is amazing. I've had problems with receiving haircuts I'm satisfied with in the past, and so learned not to care about my hair that much. I have curly hair (which shouldn't be any more difficult for stylists, but somehow seems to throw some of them) and I have a cowlick in the back right underside of my head (making it very easy to cut my hair uneven). I've never had a problem with Renee. She always cuts and colors my hair wonderfully, and has changed my mind about how much money I invest into my hair. Her personality is fun and lively, and she understand people very well. She always takes my personal style, face shape, and the level of care I want into consideration. She's colored me, bleached me, and even fixed bad color jobs for me (she reversed a bleach and a hot pink -- you would have never known). I like my hair to be low maintenance, and I always walk away with a stylish, good looking cut. She knows what she's doing and is always privy to the latests techniques and styles. I just got my hair cut by her again, and multiple people have told me my face looks thinner! Can't beat that. Highly recommended. read more

I was a first time client, wanted either a highlight a single process with toner. I was booked as a highlight but after a consultation we decided it was ok to do an ash blonde single process with a toner. The process turned out white hair with mostly brassiness. I specifically told him if you don't think you can do it i will do a high light. He told me "no problem". He had me go outside the salon to check the color and I told him it was brassy, exactly what I pleaded with him not to happen, he tried to fix it, did not work. I was so upset because I explained to him what had happened to me before when some one did not process my hair correctly. He tried to correct it and was still orange. I was so upset, then when I was told what my services costed, I was devastated. $190 for what??? He gave me a conditioning treatment that was $35 and didn't tell me I would be charged, then charged for a full highlight that did not happen. No foils were used, just color on my roots. I left the salon devastated and had to have orange hair for over a month and a half. I kindly contacted the salon 5 times to resolve the situation and no one responded to me. At that point I asked the salon to please just refund the amount I was over charged but the owner never contacted me. I should have known better when the owner kept telling me I wasn't happy with the color. Wasn't about me being happy it was about you made my hair orange!!! They are phony, fast talkers. When I asked to talk to the inexperienced person who messed up my hair, I was told " he is no longer employed here" Hummm. wonder why?!?! read more
