I chose this salon for my first visit after reading so many positive reviews about Lynn, so I went in feeling confident. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I brought in inspiration photos and specifically asked for long, soft, blended layers. Instead, I left with numerous very short pieces throughout the top and sides of my hair that stick out and don't blend with the rest of my hair. The final result looked nothing like what I had requested, and I was genuinely upset when I got home and was able to look at my hair more closely. After I posted my review, the salon reached out promptly. They offered to have another stylist fix my hair, but I declined because I didn't want to risk losing even more length trying to correct a haircut that was already much shorter than I wanted in certain areas. They also refunded me in full, which I genuinely appreciate and believe was the right thing to do. The salon asked if I would remove my one-star review because they had refunded me. While I appreciate their effort to resolve the situation, I don't feel it's fair to remove an honest review that reflects my actual experience. Reviews exist to help future clients make informed decisions, and my haircut experience was real. A refund addressed the financial aspect of the service, but it didn't undo the haircut or how upset I was with the result. I do want to give the salon credit for their customer service after the fact. They responded respectfully, offered a solution, and refunded me without making the process difficult. However, I'm still disappointed with the haircut itself and, because of that experience, I won't be returning. read more

This review is so long overdue!!! I have been booking my hair appointments with Lily since 2021! Not only do I always feel welcome at THE STUDIO HUE SALON: AVEDA, Lily is genuinely kind and always does an amazing job on my hair. I found The Studio Hue during COVID! I know my hair does exceptionally well with AVEDA products and Studio Hue is an AVEDA salon! Also, I prefer going to a salon where stylists are familiar with Asian hair. :-) I am now at a point in my life where the gray is not forgiving. Haha! I like highlights to disguise the gray, and of course, root touch ups are also essential! The other service I like to include is the AVEDA deep conditioning, which leaves my hair silky and soft. It lasts for at least a couple of weeks, and I can tell my hair loves the much needed hydration! Other services are available, such as nails and waxing, too! read more

I gave this salon a call, after my mom recommended it to me. My mom enjoyed the vibe of the salon. For example, they talk if you talk to them. No unnecessary small talk but instead, a focus on your services. I had a last minute appointment with Lin. I really enjoyed the time I spent with her. She was knowledgeable and thorough, asking me questions about what my hair has been like in the past. I showed her an inspiration picture for my hair and she made it come to life. I was only in the salon for just under two hours, which is how I like it because I get antsy. Got a great haircut by Mimi! She walked me through all the recommendations she had for my desired hair style. She let me know that I have fine hair and a lot of it. So we went with a U shaped haircut with face, framing layers, and plenty of thinning, especially in the back of my head. She shampooed and conditioned my hair and finished it off with a blow dry. Unfortunately, I was shocked by the price at the end of my service just because I was expecting to pay $45 but she ended up charging me 60. That was a huge surprise and a $15 jump is big. I didn't ask for anything other than a standard haircut which on the website says, comes with a shampoo and condition. I don't think I'll be back because of that, but nonetheless, it was a great service, she was a nice lady, but I know of places with cheaper haircuts for the same level of professionalism. read more

I came in for a hair cut on a sunday and booked my appointment same day. The ladies here are so friendly, i forgot who cut my hair, but she was very sweet and did a great job with layering my hair. I booked an appointment for my daughter online. I booked a damage remedy treatment. I told them damage remedy treatment before they started, my daughter told her again a damage remedy treatment.........and they gave her a keratin treatment that ruined her curly hair. I'm VERY disappointed that they didn't actually READ and LISTEN to what was booked. Her hair also turned out much darker than she wanted so she just washed it to get some color out and the curl IS indeed ruined. She's crying and I'm pretty upset. read more
