I've been going here since we moved to Florida 2 years ago. I was shocked to read so many negative reviews- especially about the front desk staff. The front desk staff has always been extremely kind- even when others were being rude to them. Every nail tech I've used has been great. My only complaint is the lack of ventilation and the smell. Came in to get dip ombré pink with white tips and David, the tech doing my nails, began doing French tip. I told him that was not what I wanted and I wanted ombré and even showed him a picture. He then attempted at doing it on my left hand and it came out horrible. The transition between the white and pink was horrible and spotty and uneven. He then removed all the work that was done on my left hand and tried again with different white on my right hand. It still came out blotchy and not smooth. He tried his best to make it right but if you're unsure how to do something, don't have a client sitting in a chair for 2.5 hours while you're not sure if your work will turn out good or not!!! I have done dip ombré on myself and it turned out way better than whatever was done for me (see pics). And I'm not a licensed nail tech lol the staff are nice and helpful but you cant have someone sitting in a chair for 2 hours, providing a service you're unsure of read more

I rarely take the time to write negative reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably unprofessional that it deserves to be shared. I called right when the salon opened specifically to make an appointment because I had an event and needed my nails done. Stacey answered and told me, very clearly, that I did not need an appointment and to "just come in this afternoon because we aren't busy." I even double-checked with her because I didn't want to waste my time. Stacey reassured me again that it would be fine. So I followed Stacey's exact instructions and arrived at 12:30 PM, only to be rudely told by Stacey herself that they were "too busy to take walk-ins" and that I would have to wait until 2 PM or reschedule. Let me repeat that: I called to make an appointment, Stacey refused to give me one, told me to walk in, and then acted like it was somehow my fault when I showed up exactly as she instructed. When I explained that I had tried to make an appointment earlier and was told it wasn't necessary, Stacey responded with an attitude that was snarky, dismissive, and incredibly condescending. Not even a basic apology for the obvious miscommunication she caused -- just more rudeness. If someone in a front desk customer service role can't handle something as simple as scheduling or speaking respectfully to customers, they probably shouldn't be the person representing the entire business. The good news? I'm writing this review while happily sitting at another nail salon that had no problem scheduling me and treating me with basic courtesy. The service here may be great -- I'll never know -- because Stacey made sure I won't be back. read more

The hair stylist Sammy was not in store at appt time - she went shopping an no one could find her - she came back 15 minutes after my scheduled appt. She charged me to color my eyebrows with the same color mixed for my hair. I have been coming to this salon for several years and my regular stylist was on vacation for 5-6 weeks and I have never been charged extra for eyebrows and she never told me I would be charged. I disputed the charge but the manager would not agree and he was very rude saying "it's only $10.00. I was charged inappropriately and the rudeness and poor customer service by overcharging is not acceptable. They should refund my 10.00. In addition I gave a tip of 20.00 not knowing I would be charged an extra 10.00. Very unhappy. You could improve by refunding my 10.00. read more

The nail staff here is EXCELLENT, but I had to deduct two stars due to issues at the front desk. Most of the receptionists are pleasant and professional, but there's one woman who consistently seems to be struggling, and unfortunately, she takes it out on customers. She's been there as long as I can remember, so I assume the management values her or perhaps she's in a role that doesn't suit her, leading to visible frustration. While I've seen her have calm, if not overly warm, interactions, more often she comes across as stressed and unprofessional. I've personally experienced her raising her voice over simple questions and witnessed her berating customers without much provocation. Today I witnessed an encounter that was particularly uncomfortable and crossed the line of acceptable behavior. Advice to the management: It's clear she's unhappy and not well-suited to dealing with clients directly. I strongly recommend finding a different role for her within the spa. Her erratic behavior seems like a potential liability, and it's concerning as a customer to witness. read more

Very good experience here. The services which I got were manicure and pedicure. I was able to get three reservations for my friends and I. My friends liked their nails as well. The salon was very prompt and setting us up with different nail technicians right away. The Studio Salon is very clean and has a modern feel. My regular pedicure was nicely done and the nail polish quality was good. For my manicure I got dip manicure instead of regular. This way it lasts longer and doesn't chip etc. - Picture in the review to share it. Gina was great and very friendly without being overbearing. This salon is in Boca and very busy. But they have a ton of employees and even at the front desk there were three employees. I would suggest getting an appointment so there is no wait time. It's a good one to check out in Boca Raton.
