This place is filthy and the mani/pedi was really bad. They didn't use sanitized tools and the table I was resting my hands on was full of nails and dirt from a previous client. Last month I was in this plaza and I decided to see if they can take a walk in. I didn't have an appointment but my nails were screaming "help me", so I took a chance and walked inside. The salon is very clean and nicely decorated. Very pretty. Betty made my nails look fantastic and I was very happy. I haven't been back because I am not in this area a lot, unless I go to Toojays which is in the same plaza. Lovely salon and I will go back at some point. read more

I love getting my nails done here. They have such a loyal following already, and with technicians like Lucy, who is my personal favorite, it's easy to see why. The care and professional job she always does is amazing. I get the Nextgen (dip nails) and I so appreciate that when I change them they soak the nails properly and don't just sand them down. Do yourself a favor and stay away I went in for a gel refill and was charged for a full set after ( I asked for my usual refill ) needless to say I was shocked at the bill. I was told by the manicurist she did me a favor by doing my nails. No one should be paying 86 dollars for a refill. A professional manicurist would be up front with the cost and let you know she is doing a full set, not blind side you at the end when she hands you the bill. The first time my experience was positive. The next time, the person I had an appointment with was not ready at the appointment time. One of the two women at the front desk said she would be a few more minutes. About 12 minutes later I asked again to discover she was doing another lady's manicure. More time passed before she finished the manicure. When she approached me she said it wasn't her fault because she had nothing to do with scheduling. Then the woman at the front desk said there was no treatment room available and it would be five minutes. The beautician waited near the front desk as if I wasn't there. It was 10 minutes before we were able to get in. It took her 5 minutes to do the treatment. She and later the woman at the front desk apologized but the apology seemed to be along the lines of things happen and not that they or anyone there had done anything wrong. They made no effort to make up for the 30 minutes I waited. The treatment was fine but the wait and the attitude were not. read more

I've been a customer for over 10 years at The Beauty Spot. This place is consistently clean and appointments run right on schedule. I love the massaging chairs while I get a pedicure. It's extremely relaxing. Every product is cleaned and sterilized before use which is so important to me. They also have all the latest colors of nail polish from every top brand like Opi and Essie. THE worst wax I have ever gotten in my entire life. If i could give this place negative stars I would. The waxer had no idea what she was doing. One, it was the most excruciatingly painful bikini wax and I have a high tolerance for pain. She would rip off the wax as fast and as hard as she could, which gave me bruises. YES BRUISING. I have two large bruises on my bikini line, so thank you Beauty spot for that. Two, she did not use gloves and I have no idea if the wax she used was new. Dirty. I had a great experience with this salon. My mom and I both got regular manicures and pedicures and they did a wonderful job! I had Bianca and although she wasn't very talkative, she always checked in and made sure I was happy with how they were turning out. The massage chairs that they have for the pedicures are a bit confusing if you don't know how to use them, but that was only a small thing and I'm sure that they would've been happy to explain it. It was a very clean space, and I was never worried that she was using dirty tools because I saw her cleaning them along the way. I wanted to like Beauty Spot, because it was so convenient to book the appointment online, and the nail technician was so nice to me. However, my "shellac manicure" consisted of first soaking my hands in acetone (which is outdated and not good for the skin). Then, my nails were filed and repainted. There was no cuticle cleaning, there was no hand or nailcare, and there was no lotion or massage. To top it off, after paying $35 for a shellac manicure, which should last from 1 to 2 weeks, my polish chipped later that day, while I was lying in bed, not using my hands. Finally, the salon has no ventilation, and the chemical smell is very strong. I am so disappointed and will be crossing another salon off my list. read more
