As I said earlier we were the last customers, so Thursday morning as we left to return home, we stopped back to exchange it only to be told very rudely, "ALL SALES FINAL" it was a $4 necklace that a 14 year old girl used her own money to buy. The fact that it couldn't be exchanged is one thing but to talk to a young girl so rudely and unprofessionally was upsetting. When we return to the area, as we plan to do, we certainly will take our business elsewhere.

They are open into the fall season. If it's before Memorial Day or after Labor Day I always call to ensure they are open. I was not able to "check in" when I visited the store over the weekend. The flea market has a very wide variety of items from antiques to tools to food to household supplies to blankets and vegetables and dog bones. Not much changes from year to year, but you end up wanting to keep going back for the tried and true favorites (we tend to pick up big jugs of Maple Syrup when we're there), and the special finds (on our last trip we bought a beer stein). The prices aren't always cheap -- the vendors who deal in antiques tend to know what their wares are worth, but most are willing to haggle. You have to pay to park -- I believe it's $5. You can also park across the street in someone's yard for $2 if you'd like to save a little a walk a smidge farther. We typically go the yard route simply because it's a little quicker to get in and out. Expect to spend 2 hours or so walking around if you want to see everything and bring the sun screen -- there isn't a lot of tree cover.
