I will say upfront this is a really pretty cake, custom covered in a reproduction of a painting I…read moredid and my artist signature. That's the reason I gave 2 stars and not just 1. My good friend ordered me a custom birthday cake from this bakery. When he went to pick it up, it was not decorated to what he asked for (it was supposed to have additional icing detail on the sides and adornments on top). I cut into it and it looks good but the cake layers are uneven/thin, icing layers are thick in ratio to the cake and the sugar paper wasn't adhered well (wavy). The icing is overly sweet and the white cake was supposed to be wedding white but it's a buttermilk white. It's tangy, tastes off and the blue icing had so much color it has that dye aftertaste. The cake is pretty but it's not good. I don't know what my friend paid for it but I am guessing it was pricey because it was custom. I love supporting local but not if it's a poor product. I would think twice before buying a custom cake here.

The best thing about the very simple cake I ordered was the taste. It tasted very good. The decor…read morepart was...elementary. Like a child did it. Very disappointed. We had to spruce it up a lot on our own. The person there when I picked it up was brash. I had to sign a piece of paper saying I agreed that it looked fine?! She flash showed me the cake that was already boxed. She definitely wasn't proud of the work and when I got it to the car to look more closely at it, I understood why. I was pretty upset. It was embarrassing, thankfully it tasted good.

Good morning! I brought home Butter Pecan the other night for my wife as substitute for her…read morefavorite - Graham Central Station - which wasn't available. She raved about it and immediately became addicted saying it was the best she's had ever. I tried it. Incredible difference from any Butter Pecan I've ever had. Other brands taste like vanilla ice cream with stale pecans mixed in. Yours has a distinct buttery flavor & texture, and the pecans are so fresh. I write as a very satisfied customer, as is Lisa. All flavors we've tried are top quality. You need not worry about competition from the dozen other places in the area. Yours is the absolute best. That along with outstanding customer service will level the competition. If you can find a way to get your cart out there and get more people to taste it, they'll show up at your store. Maybe clear your smaller garage bay and store it there on a trailer. Leave coupons for shut-ins like John Knox & other convalescent homes for Door Dash delivery. Also nail & hair salons since folks are already out, have waited forever and are now deserving of a treat. Just some thoughts you've likely already thought of. I think more local exposure will draw customers who might not shop in that area very often or simply can't get there. We very much look forward to our next delicious treat!

For me the high light was the coffee creamer, they had sooooo many flavors and different brands-unlike my local grocery store. I was happy to see more Chobani Creamer flavors, I bought a white chocolate mocha. I told my sister I was coming up here once a month to shop! The store overall is amazing!

(Parts from original review 10/30/2019)…read more * Judging by the picture, I'd say he hated it... lol No really, it was delicious!!! This was a pleasant little hidden away cafe/bistro. It used to be nestled inside the Colonial Gardens nursery and market off 7 hwy and Wyatt streets in Blue Springs, MO. The signage was sparse, so it was difficult to find... But most people did! And it was so worth the adventure. On our original visit we ordered the Belgian Waffle with fresh fruit. It was light and fluffy on the inside and golden crispy on the outside. The fruit was perfectly ripe and naturally sweet. We also shared a half order of biscuits and gravy. Obviously made from scratch. A warm fluffy and moist biscuit under a generous serving of rich and creamy sausage forward gravy. I couldn't stop eating it I ordered their ham and cheese florentine frittata, which was filled with yummy ingredients and had a creamy custard layer on the top. It was absolutely mouthwatering! They're generous in their portion sizes there. The ambiance was pleasant and cozy. With lots of windows that afforded the best views of the arboretum. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We continued to frequent this place, even after they relocated onto Main Street at the square. They are able to accommodate more guests than before, and offer more dishes and pastries. They put out a heck of a breakfast! You really must try their hospitality. Always friendly, always kind. The actual address for their current location is now 1101 W Main St, (Suite A) Blue Springs, MO 64015. If interested, they are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. (Closed on Sunday and Monday). If you'd care to reach them, simply call (816) 600-0089. You can check on their daily specials, etc...

My "grape salad" was 5 grapes with a very thin layer of yogurt sauce. Quich was decent size. But still left a bit hungry. Service was good Atmosphere was comfortable, clean and had lots of outlets so you could work and have your coffee. Enjoyed my time there. Would go back.
