Too bad the prices don't reflect the past, but that's ok! The man at the front who helped me was friendly and not pushy, which I appreciate. I picked up a couple croissants, apple turnover, a couple of cheese Danishes, and an almond croissant. Service was prompt and the employees were attentive as well as pleasant. I like how they approach the counter and inquire about your status versus staring at you letting you try to figure out if someone is going to help you or not. At the check out, there's the coffee station or tea. I ordered 2 French Vanilla coffees, to say the least the French vanilla flavor seemed distant to none. On the second trip it was exact same coffee request with the same results. An improvement needed is to have different sweetners for the coffee. Not everyone wants white sugar or sweet n low. We're BIG hazelnut enthusiasts, so we each had one scoop of hazelnut flavor and one of the Rocher (hazelnut) flavor. They also had an amazing fig and honey gelato flavors which was absolutely delicious. They offer 4 sizes - kids' size, and then the usual - small, medium and large. The small is 2 generous scoops - and that's what we went with. The overall experience didn't disappoint at all; we thoroughly enjoyed the treat, my hubby had an espresso coffee as well (very good) and we got a kids cup of vanilla for our pup. I was excited to see they have a lox scallion cream cheese option because sliced lox with scallion cream cheese separately is expensiveeee. This was a great alternative and I added a tomato. I got that on an egg everything bagel toasted and was happy with what I got! The bagel itself was a softer dough compared to some other places but it still had a good body to it (i.e. t didn't deflate completely when you bite into it). There was a good bagel to cream cheese ratio and the cream cheese wasn't bland which is something I look out for. All directions were followed so overall happy with the minimal service we interacted with. I would give this bagel a solid 8/10
