The girls that work there are so nice and friendly but the pastries are so bad. The only thing I like getting is the bread, which sometimes is overcooked. I'm so happy I came across this cafe. I was looking for somewhere that was open early to buy my morning coffee and it did not disappoint. They have a great selection of lattes and hot/cold drinks to satisfy my need for caffeine. I got the lavender latte which was delicious (TBH I personally didn't taste much lavender but it was still a great drink). I also got one of their pastries, a spinach and cheese pastry. The crust was the perfect amount of flaky, crunchy and soft. Yummy filling. Also got a few cookies to go. Huge selection of cookies! Passing by for years, finally stopped in with my wife. Very clean, everything displayed looked amazing and the girls that served us were super polite and had big smiles. Many cafe style tables with cozy seats. Our cappuccino's were perfection along with a croissant stuffed with Nutella. My Sfogliatelle was one of the best I've ever had. Amazing pastry shop by NYIT mansion. My husband and I stopped here for a breakfast sit down before attending a friend's wedding. I loved everything that I saw. First there's parking in the front, by the sidewalk that's free for 2 hours, or there's also back parking. There's so much space indoors. Or maybe it just looked like that since we were there 9am. Iced cappuccino 4/5 We ordered small but they gave us a giant glass. Green tea 4/5 Cannoli 4/5 Berry tartlet 5/5 The berries were just right complimenting the custard. So I gave this place a chance to redeem themselves before writing this review but unfortunately this is the second time I wasted my money there. My last two visits with about 6 months in between turned out horrible. Today I spent 60 plus dollars on a pound of cookies and the rest on mini pastries. The cookies we just ok. They were definitely not fresh. We could tell because they were a bit soggy. The pastries were terrible to the point of having to be thrown out. They looked good but once we all tasted them they tasted freezer burnt & some had such a foul taste that they had to be spit out. Although we didn't want to we did decide to try the different options I purchased & other than one which was so so they all were spit out. That being said this place is overpriced so u would expect great pastries but unfortunately for the second time it was terrible. Never again & don't be fooled by the fact that they look good because as I learned today that doesn't seem to matter. read more

Amazing little pastry shop right off Glen Cove Road. We finally got the chance to stop in and give their offerings a taste and they're most definitely worth a try if you're in the area. One side of the shop houses their pastries while the other holds their ample selection of gelato and sorbet. What makes Leonetti different is that on top of standard Italian pastries, they also have a large selection of miniature bite sized goodies that range from cannolis to fruit tarts to nutella cakes. I've ordered from this bakery and it's been good. Then I ordered a mocha cake. The girl asked many questions that were never asked before. So I told her, I want a mocha cake with choc cake inside. I don't know what kind of creme was outside but it was a mocha cake. I get the cake and it was a butter creme. So I called and the girl who answered did not know why it was white. So she said you ordered a butter creme. So someone else came on, didn't listen to what I had to say, so I got mad. I said 'let me speak' and she said 'you're getting mad and went on about how I ordered it this way'. So I said 'your customer service is horrible!' Then she hung up. That's how they treat their customers. Should a bakery not know what they make as a mocha cake? How come I got the cake right all the time except for this time?
