Our drinks were amazing and she even tweaked menu cocktails to fit what she thought we'd like more! (Even bought a bottle of the gin to take home with her cocktail recipe we liked the most). Personally I'm a bartender as well, so a lot of these reviews I wouldn't take seriously, most of the time when a customer says they've waited a half hour for drink in reality it's 10-15 minutes, and hand made and muddled cocktails take time!!! (sit at the bar once and watch how much it takes to serve a whole restaurant and you might be a little more understanding if there's ever a wait) Even when drinks were empty, we were acknowledged but it would be a minute but they would get to us as soon as possible. The crust is airy and baked just right. We love the Hawaiian (Canadian bacon and pineapple). We also tried the nachos as a starter and they were delicious. No dinner is complete without a couple of their goblet sized drinks- strawberry daiquiri and margarita are long-time favorites. Service is always friendly and they make an effort to get your food and drinks to you quickly. We go to other outdoor dining locations in Clear Lake- but we always return to GE-Jo's.

The breaded mushrooms were actually really good, good quality of mushrooms (portobello), big, and homemade breading. The nachos were plentiful, but just okay. The chips were definitely not homemade and the beef was just a bit dry, I've definitely had better, but it was loaded with a nice amount of toppings and the salsa was good. Both were tons of food for us to split and be full to continue our journey home. What I ordered is in the picture I attached. You don't get what you thought you were ordering. I ordered the poblano enchiladas, seeing that it had green sauce and covered with cheese sauce. THAT is not what I got. I got enchiladas with some red mole sauce over it. The mole sauce was gross. Didn't finish it. It went in the trash. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of what I received, but it wasn't like in the picture, believe me.
