Highly recommend Aaron for personal injury cases. When I initially spoke with him about the…read morespecifics of my case, he gave me very direct feedback and informed me on all of the reasons why I could potentially file suit against the City of Austin. Unfortunately, at the end of the first phone call, he regrettably informed me that due to the Texas Tort Claims Act, it's almost impossible to file suit and expect to get any sort of compensation for the type of injury I suffered. I was let down, but at least grateful that he gave me honest, valuable counsel. I thanked him for his time and was left to figure out my next move, but thankfully only had to wait until the end of the day when he called me back. Despite telling me he wouldn't take my case, he had spent most of his day poring over similar cases and managed to find one that made it all the way up to the Texas Supreme Court, which had actually reset the precedent for cases such as this. He then told me he actually felt like he had a shot to get me some money to help pay off the egregious amount of medical bills I had incurred. I should also add, though, that my mother and I were very diligent about gathering as much evidence as possible the moment I was released from the hospital, and without all of this documented evidence, there is very little chance I would have had a case to begin with. As far as how the process went while working with Aaron, I could not have been more pleased with how everything was handled and played out. One of my favorite things about Aaron is that he is no bullshitter. He is very direct and always made sure I understood exactly what to expect throughout the whole process, and always updated me immediately with any new developments, as well as going through expectations for the next part of the case. All in all, it took about 20 months from the day Aaron accepted my case to the day that we settled out of court for a payout from the city that has helped ease my financial burden that I incurred due to poor city maintenance. I cant even imagine where I'd be without all the work, time, and effort that Aaron put in to my case, and words cannot express how grateful I am to him.

Aaron Allison took my case after a chiropractor who was assigned by the state of Texas as the…read more"Designated Doctor" gave me a MMI and Impairment Rating. What was so mind boggling was that I was still in physical therapy for my shoulder when I had to see him. I suffered a torn rotator cuff on the job but the chiropractor who is not a MD wrote in his report that I do not need surgery to repair my shoulder (he claimed it was a shoulder strain) even though my physician (an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in elbow and shoulder surgeries and approved by the insurance company) had made it clear I was a candidate for surgery. Mr. Allison represented me from May of 2022 until November of 2022 when we went in front of a so-called "Administrative Law Judge" who works for the Texas Department of Insurance (Division of Workers' Compensation). Mr. Allison did everything and beyond to prove my case. We had all the documentation including the MRI results that I had to pay for. I really felt good after the hearing because we proved everything beyond the shadow of doubt. However, the administrative judge took the recommendation of a chiropractor (who never looked at the MRI results) over my physician who happens to be an expert and specialist in elbow and shoulder orthopedics for The Carrell Clinic who happens to perform surgeries for the Dallas Cowboys. Mr. Allison had warned me from the very beginning that Texas' Workers' Compensation Law is perhaps the worst in the nation when he took up my case. Aaron will bend over backwards to help you anyway he can. His knowledge of the Workers' Compensation law is second to none as far as I am concerned. He gave my wife and I the history and structure of Texas' Workers' Compensation Law and answered pretty much all our questions before we even asked him. He was always available when I had any questions and he made me feel at ease. He may not like this description of him but I told him he really is a crusader for the working people and it's a shame there aren't more like him. If you have been injured, please contact him - he will fight for you. Thank you Aaron for everything you did for me. David M. Sligh

I hired Sean McConnell to represent me in a medical malpractice case after the loss of my father…read moredue to a surgeon's negligence. I wasn't just seeking financial compensation--I needed answers, closure, and a way to make sure what happened to my dad wasn't hidden from others. This legal journey was an emotional roller coaster, but Mr. McConnell and his team were consistently compassionate, professional, and incredibly skilled. He guided me through every step with sensitivity, and in the end, helped me achieve something meaningful: accountability. Some people leave negative reviews, and while everyone's experience is different, I personally found it hard to imagine this law firm treating anyone without care or respect. I'm a real person, with a real story, and I wanted to share a review that reflects that. If you're expecting a large payout, keep in mind that Texas laws cap damages in medical malpractice cases. In a state like New York, you might be able to sue for millions--but here in Texas, those amounts are limited. I learned quickly that $250,000 can't replace a life. But with Mr. McConnell's help, we were able to make sure the doctor was reported to the Texas Medical Board, and now has a disciplinary mark visible to anyone looking up his license. That kind of accountability means something. And for my family and me, so did the way this law firm stood by our side.

A review is warranted as all should read prior to engaging with Winckler, Harvey, & McConnell LLP,…read more the claim is mal practice lawyers ?? they accepted my wife's case over a year and half knowing there is a 2 yr statue of limitations . Fairly straight forward she has been seeing a cardiologist for 6 plus yrs and never any mention of any blocked arteries ? 5 month prior to her passing in office visit they mention nothing even though she claimed chest pains , the pains got worse and called for appt. the intake notes clearly say chest pains ? they refused her stating 10 mins late, failed to ask her to wait, failed to advise ER but would rescheduled ? Bring that to a jury as she passed away 11 days latter !! none the less the autopsy report shows 3 1/2 clogged arteries missed over 6 plus yrs ? bring that to a jury !! Winckler, Harvey, & McConnell LLP "claim" they could not find a MD to agree that this was mis diagnosis? After stretching my 2 yr statue of limitations and many numerous un answered calls I finally received a Dear John Letter not even a professional ethical call ? I basically begged them to file something to secure my statue of limitations as knowingly 4 months left is not enough time to hire another firm ? deaf ears of not caring !!! , I offer to pay to file again deaf ears ......./ Thank you Sean for the caring , also thank you Winckler, Harvey for ignoring my WRITTEN plea to secure my statue of limitations .......
