We had a company outing here! Collin and Makayla were amazing hosts! Cannot wait to do this again. Perfect event for a girls night, company, building, or wedding parties. It was so much fun to make some Thai food!!

What an awesome class! Jeff was really helpful throughout the ramen cooking. We bought a pre recorded class and still felt like we were in the actual class. Made us laugh a bunch! Thanks!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! I've attended a few Sur La Table cooking classes and this beats them all. Chef Jeff is so kind and personable and made the entire experience superb. I attended the Rustic Italian Date Night and it was a blast! Chef Jeff and his team are fun and personable and really took the time to get to know us and ensure we grasped the concepts and skill set necessary to create the meal. We made a Focaccia Flatbread with Pesto, Sausage and Vegetable Pasta with Creamy Tomato Sauce, and a Chocolate and Berry Crostini. Everything was SO. DELICIOUS. They went above and beyond to accommodate my dairy allergy so that I could eat everything we cooked. I was so appreciative of the care that went into personalizing the meal so that I could enjoy it all with some modifications. Chef Jeff is such a genuine person who clearly is a man of integrity. He took it upon himself to learn everyone's names to start (very impressive in a class of over 20 people!), encouraged all of the married people's in the room to be intentional in loving one another, and made the whole experience so much fun and memorable. Just two critiques (that in no way make this less than a 5-star experience): -we didn't eat until 9:30pm so we were STARVING when dinner rolled around but I guess that's to be expected for a 7-10pm class. -I found some of the components of the meal (pesto and pasta sauce) to be slightly under seasoned. I think just a hint of salt would've made the meal that much more flavorful but maybe that's just a personal preference. Check this place out! Such a great gift to give to someone, unique experience to change things up, or date night idea. Chef Jeff has an incredible business going and I hope to see it continue to flourish. I wish I still lived in the area because I would be back here all the time to try out more classes!

Have taken several classes. They are all very organized and well taught. If you want to learn how to cook or love to cook and want to up your skill this is the place for you.

What a great class. It was our first cooking class ever, so I have nothing to compare to, but we really had a good time. We signed up, sort of on a whim, and were not disappointed. Jeff is a fine instructor, keeps your attention, clever and funny, and weaves in some nice cooking instructions that I had never considered (Heat the pan, heat the fat, heat the food.....how to saute, FYI). We attended the Thai Cooking Class and did two appetizers and a main entree. The food was delicious and the class well organized and well prepared. We'll be back!

Joined the World Travelers Club and had our first class less than a week ago. First stop, Spain! Chef Jeff has a way of making you feel very comfortable and at ease. I can't recommend these classes enough. Great instruction, great new friends, and great food! We made the national dish of Spain in class, paella. Chef Jeff made a very intimidating dish manageable and fun. The trick for a dish that has so many ingredients was prep. My Mom's Birthday was today, so to celebrate we had a Super Bowl, Birthday Party all rolled into one. I decided to put what I had just learned in class and take a shot at a paella on my own. I can't tell you how much everyone loved it! I can't wait for our next class, we are heading to Italy!! Here is what I was able to put together for friends and family tonight using what I learned last week.

Had a fabulous time. Did the class with my daughter. We did the Charleston southern menu. One of my favorite all time experiences. You get to prepare and eat a great meal. Chef Jeff is simply the best. Book a class!!

A bit of advice, do not eat anything before taking this class. You will eat plenty during it! My 9 year old daughter and I participated in the parent & child sushi making class, and it was fantastic! Chef Jeff welcomed us and joked around with my daughter a bit to get her comfortable. She really warmed up and liked talking with him, which is no easy feat. We got to learn 3 different rolls and 1 nigiri dish that were all so fresh and delicious. As we completed each roll that we would learn and then roll ourselves, we would get to eat it as we learned the next roll. We ate a lot of sushi! Chef Jeff taught us the importance of using fresh fish and how to choose the freshest fish at the market. He was very helpful and we had about 15 minutes of the end of class to make as much sushi to take home as we wanted which resulted in 2-3 good-sized taken home boxes. The value in the education of what you learn is worth the cost of the class and experience with whomever you're there experiencing the class with. However, combined with the amount that you eat during the class anders the amount that you take home, you'll be saving yourself multiple meals as well.

I know what your thinking. You have seen the price and thought "oh that's a lot!" I know you've considered it but stopped yourself with all the questions you might have about the whole situation! Well let me tell you all about this experience so that you know just how worth it, this class is! My husband and I chose the Peruvian menu. Mostly because my husband is Peruvian and I have been wanting to learn to cook more like what my husband grew up on. We had trouble finding the place because it is on the back side of the street address (behind blue grass grill) so Siri said we arrived and we said no we haven't and pulled in to park so that we could walk around and ended up right at the door. We were greeted by Chef Jeff who made us feel right at home. We ended up at the chicken table as each table had a different piece of the menu and we didn't know that when we walked in. We learned how to handle our chicken including cutting out its spine and break its breastplate. These both made gruesome noises that gave me chills but then we seasoned the chicken and started grilling. Meanwhile we walked around to see what everyone else was doing and got to taste the things they were making. We got short demonstrations about, like I said, how to prepare a whole chicken and how to use salt appropriately. The class was such a good time and the food was amazing. My husband and I both have problems with certain food when we go to restaurants but something about what we prepared in this classroom the foods didn't bother us at all. We prayed over our dinner and enjoyed. I can't wait to go back again and take my boys to a mom and me class too maybe even send one to summer camp next year. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

This class was a birthday gift from my son, a thoughtful choice since we share a love of cooking--and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had in a kitchen. We prepared a spatchcock chicken, stuffed with pockets of fresh, homegrown herbs, and were gently guided through the process of creating a spring vegetable risotto using locally sourced ingredients. Although I spend a great deal of time cooking, David's depth of knowledge--shaped by years in professional kitchens across the world--made the experience feel entirely new and immersive. What stood out most was his teaching style. Despite his impressive background, he was never intimidating--only patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about sharing what he knows. After cooking everything to perfection over a wood fire, we sat down to enjoy the meal: the chicken and risotto accompanied by a kale Caesar salad, Steel Pioneer signature sourdough bread, homemade cultured butter, and an unforgettable yogurt panna cotta with strawberries, almond crumble, mint, and praline tuile. And I would be remiss not to mention David's peach kombucha--it was exceptional. By the end of the evening, especially after spending time with his delightful wife Julie, we felt less like guests and more like family. If you're looking to learn how to create incredible food over an open fire, enjoy a magical evening, and connect with a truly interesting and gracious host, this is an experience worth booking. It's one you won't soon forget
