The tried and true way to test the authenticity and goodness of a Greek restaurant? Their dolmades (stuffed grape leaves). The ones here passed with flying colors. I heard so many positive things about this place and I figured I can never have too many great Greek food options, so I grabbed some food on the way home from an appointment. Nutella baklava was on point. Two of my favorite things combined into one perfect dish. I also got a gyro and everything was seasons so well, although the meat was just a tad dry. They were a vendor at the fells point festival in Baltimore and we decided to give them a try, did not disappoint!! Got the gyros and chicken pita with fries, everything was delicious and my bf kept saying it tastes just like it does in Greece lol. They did not have as much of a line as some of the other food trucks, but I suspect it might be due to not having pictures of food on their menu, maybe adding pictures will help draw more of a crowd :) we thought the food here was way better than the competing food trucks next to them and more fairly priced too read more

Saw this spot coming back from Towson (the back way) and decided to give them a try based on the positive reviews. Ordered pick up on a Friday late afternoon. Some tables outside and chairs only inside (possibly waiting area for take out) Our Order was ready in about 20 minutes as promised. For starter, we went with the Mezze plate. Dolmades, spicy feta, spinach and cheese pie bites were all delicious. For main, it was a regular Gyro (lamb/beef) combo which included fries and a drink. Gyro was very good (and if you're really hungry they have a Colussus size -9" pita wrap). First time seeing a Grilled Octopus pita wrap so had to try it. Octopus was tender and tasty. This one was a hit! I wasn't sure about the crinkle cut fries, that said, the feta fries were very good. When I found out the Baklava was house made, had to try. Plain and Nutella (both were delicious with Nutella stealing the show). Friendly & upbeat service during pick up. We will be back! read more

Wow, this place...... when it first opened the food was great, nice full Gyro's, gape leaves were amazing too! I've had food a few more times in between then and now, however I just got food Saturday and it's sad to see and say just how bad this place has become! I had 5 pieces of lamb meat in my Gyro and the meat was so tough I couldn't even chew it, plus my grape leaves were so tough they were inedible, and on top of all that, the food was so bland, and Greek food is not bland my friends. Whoever is the cook here has definitely lost their passion for cooking, they need a new chef!!!! I spent $20 and couldn't eat any of it! Disgusting read more

I was so impressed with my carry-out order, I can't wait to go back to get more! A little pricey, but the flavor was amazing and made it all worth it. I had never had Dolmades before, but thank goodness I was willing to try something new because it was amazing! I'll probably get this again the next time I order too. I heated some of the leftover dolmades the next day and they were still great. The gyro pita was much bigger than expected, and delicious. I got the baklava, and it was just as tasty as everything else. I'm so thankful I moved near the Sweet Greek Grill so I can keep coming back! Looking forward to trying new things. read more

***Catering Review*** The Sweet Greek catered our daughter's wedding and the food was AMAZING!! Stan and Maria went above and beyond our expectations. The appetizers of spinach and cheese pies were a favorite among our guests as well as the spicy feta and pita! I especially liked the grilled and chilled veggies on the vegetable platter. Everyone loved the dinner menu. We had Greek salad, Greek rice, Greek potatoes, grilled vegetables, chicken kabobs and beef kabobs. Stan and Maria found the best selection of beef and it was seasoned perfectly. It was such a hit they may add it their regular menu. We are still getting compliments from our guests about how good the food and service was. We had 4 guests that had gluten allergies and they raved about the food. They were so happy they could enjoy everything. The only item with gluten were the pita slices. Very good choice for anyone with gluten allergies. Very good food. This is what we've tired so far: The gyros. The lamb skewer. The grape leaves. The pork pita. The "Greek fries". What I want to try in the future: The octopus and the spanakopita. I think they show great promise. We both thought that the lamb and the pork could have been marinated /seasoned more, but both of us appreciated that they made the small effort to grill the pita. The grape leaves were the best we ever had; fresh, briny leaves wrapped over a nicely seasoned rice and meat bundle, with lemon to serve on the side-spectacular! The lamb was a bit dry, slightly under seasoned, but there was no fat-good effort! The gyros. What can I say!? I love that they slice it thin!! I don't like big greasy gyros meat loaf chunks! Nice! But I don't recommend feta for any sandwich, because it is such a bold, briny salty flavor that overwhelms everything. The Greek fries were OK. I like the crinkle cut. But again, the feta was overwhelming. Instead, a welcome side would be rice pilaf-plain or with a tomato sauce. The owner mentioned that other customers recommended this as well.....guess we'll see! The baklava was fresh, savory, honey/butter sweet with fresh walnut-ty layers. We'll be back to sample more! read more

We ordered lunch for delivery. The food was still hot when it came! We ordered 3 pitas with feta (gyro, chicken, and shrimp) All three were stuffed full and delicious. The toppings were very fresh. We also ordered the spinach pie, baklava, and dolmades. We could only manage a bite of eat because the pitas were so filling. We have been looking for a good greek place for years and are so please to live close enough for delivery! The prices are reasonable and its a great option for fresh, well made food! What every carry-out should be...fresh ingredients and rich flavors. For instance, the Greek salad is made with perfectly ripe tomatoes, delicious dressing...and the seasoning on the pita is a smart extra touch. Very disappointed. Was looking for a new Fallston eatery to save driving. Bought four various gyros for $32. The quality of the food was fair/good BUT the serving sizes were anemic. The amounts of food placed into the pitas were appetizer size and left us still hungry. Very overpriced for what you get. This is a "one and done" for us. read more

We love this place. The food is consistently good. The gyro, chicken gyro, dolmadas, spanakopita and baklava are all very delicious. The food is made fresh when you order. The only complaint I have is that they close a little early (8pm). We typically end up getting there very close to 8 to place our order. They never make us feel rushed or that we are holding them up from going home. It is a very nice family run place. Keep up the good work. read more

Our family ordered takeout last night and it was sooo good! We wanted to sample a bunch of Greek specialties and decided on the stuffed grapes (my 8 year old devoured them), lemon soup, Greek fries (so delicious!), the gyros (hubby's fave), and of course the baklava and loukoumades for desert. Just ordered 2 gyros and I'm not sure what kind of gyro meat was on them!!! It was nothing like the sliced gyro meat (lamb&beef) that usually is tender. This meat was like cheap steak or something! Was really tough and chewy. Sort of like chewing a piece of rubber!! I've ordered here in the past and it was delicious!! $9 and change is a little pricey for just a gyro with no chips or anything. read more

OMG finally a wonderful authentic GREEK PLACE right here in Fallston! We got a little bit of everything and EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The Dolmades (homemade and you get 7 that's a nice sized order for the price if you have ever made these you would appreciate this and if you have ever bought them elsewhere you know this is a deal) they were just like my yiayia made them moist, tender and ohhh so yummy....spinach pie was packed with flavor, the sweet greek salad(size small) was loaded with topping and the dressing was full of feta yum!
