I got the combo over rice and fries and it was super good! This was my first time trying halal food…read moreso I got all three sauces on the side. I was really a fan of the green and hot sauce (quite spicy). I'm not a fan of ranch/mayo adjacent stuff so I predicted I wouldn't like the white sauce. I preferred the chicken pieces over the lamb, but they both tasted good. The fries were like a 6/10, better than average. All the food came out super hot. The price for everything was also really good. The service was great. The guy at the counter was polite and brought me over a tray when he saw I was dining in. The food also didn't take long (~10 mins). The ambience was nice, and there was a good amount of seating. People came and went but it was pretty empty for half the time I was there (40 mins).

You can tell because the rice is all stuck together and clumped up same as if you put it in the fridge to heat up later. My special requests wasn't met at all , it literally ask for extra red sauce and sauce under the rice as well . Idk what's so hard to comprehend when someone ask for extra hot sauce . Sorry i don't want plain rice with a small drizzle of sauce . As someone that goes here regularly this shit is so inconsistent, ive been to other naz halal that get it right and read the custom tickets. On top of that the cheesesteak also asked for red sauce and oh look , no red sauce on there either . As someone that likes my food extra spicy , if I ask for extra spice . It's disappointing you can't do that. Oh and they're slowly becoming like chipotle where they're rationing the meat and just giving tons of rice . Note this location has been a headache from the start , as my past reviews are from a year ago and this location.

I had the Chicken Caprese, very yummy. Great combination of mozzarella and basil plus gremolata spread. Wow, what portions I actually took home half my sandwich. Plus, we had a great server who was very attentive. Yes, the restaurant is BYOB but it is right beside the Giant grocery store which sells beer and wine. We will definitely return the next time we visit Longwood Gardens.

The food came out a little slow though but worth it. Starters: Brussel Sprouts: 5/5 delicious and made well. The skin lightly fried but not charred. The dish balance with pieces of bacon and the cheese plays well with the balsamic vinegar. Rib rolls: 4/5 The shredded short ribs could be a bit more moist and flavorful but pairs very well the horseradish aioli. Chicken Alfredo: 5/5 likely on the of the best Alfredo I have had. Grilled chicken was perfect not too dry and flavorful and the noodles cooked to perfection. The sauce was flavorful but not too heavy with cream like most places. Meat Lover Pizza: 4/5 Solid pizza! Well balanced and not overly salty. French Onion Patty Melt: 5/5 Perfect medium cook and delicious. Not too salty. Onions savory and sweet. Perfect crunch of the bread. Chicken Caprese: 4/5 It was good. Pesto brought a nice brightness to balance the heaviness of the fried chicken. Overall: 5/5 a great place that delivers well on their food. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes. You don't leave feeling overall full due to the richness of the dishes

Continuing alphabet series representing 2023, M is for Mezeh. I visited the Mezeh in Owings Mills…read moreat least 3 times: December 2022, May 2023, & September 2023. Food is great with their bowls with rice, lettuce, chicken, couscous, & various other ingredients. Staff is nice enough. But my complaints arise in May & more so in September 2023. December 2022: On my way to seeing my parents for Christmas, I popped in a movie at AMC Owings Mills. I bundled up greatly as Friday, December 23, 2022 was when the Polar Vertex came in, temperatures fell throughout the day. That night after my movie before my dinner at Mezeh, the temperature was down to 10 F, but high winds made feel like the -10's. It was less than ideal timing to be going up for Christmas, but I had to do what I had to do. Food was great as it's been at any Mezeh I've been to. May 2023: After a movie at AMC Owings Mills on Sunday, May 21, I popped in again. Their drink machine was broken. I said I wanted a cup of water, but they at least had a back up plan with bottled water for free, which was good. It's still not good though to have the drink machine broken. September 2023: On Friday, September 1, I had an unusual travel to Owings Mills as I had to pick up a parking pass from my condo company's office. I got a Doubleheader of movies at AMC Owings Mills. Between the 2 movies, I got a quick dinner at Mezeh. And after over 3 months later, their drink machine was still broken! That was completely unacceptable. They should've taken care of that quickly. I couldn't believe it. They did give me the bottled water. It was poor business. I do really like Mezeh, but if I had wanted to boycott for that nonsense, I didn't have time as I was pressed for time between my 2 movies. In conclusion, would I return to this Mezeh? Maybe, staff didn't piss me off. It's just rare I'm at Owings Mills.

This location in particular is close to home, reasonably priced and always a treat whenever I find myself in the metro area of downtown Owings Mills. Convenient and appropriately situated local next to a whole slew of stores, restaurants and shopping depots!.

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!
