Definitely an older family owned place! The mini golf was great and that's why we went! To get to the mini golf you had to walk through the arcade which was okay. I'm sure a kid would enjoy it! & they had batting cages- which you don't see a lot anymore. I would recommend coming here for a round or two of mini golf. I just came back from a wonderful day at Swing Time in Howell Twp. It was raining, but we managed to fit in some batting cage time. Lisa was amazing! The pitching machine was aiming too low for my grandson so she adjusted it. Then we spent the rest of the day in the arcade with the various games, air hockey, bowling, basketball, etc. The staff, especially Lisa, was excellent! Just as we were about to leave it down poured like crazy. Lisa grabbed an umbrella and walked us to my car, let my grandson in, and then walked me around to the driver's seat. We stayed nice and dry in the heaviest rain. We are going back with my other grandkids on a sunny day so we can fit in more batting cage time, and a round of golf. We go every year in may for my daughter's birthday and it's beautiful and the water and falls are running. We went today and everything is broken down there's leaves and sludge in the ponds and no water is running however they have the nerve to increase the prices and it was $14 per personinstead of $10. read more

Bought a local pass in December 2024 that included 1 game of mini-golf at this location to be redeemed in 2025. Tried to use it in May 2025. The new owner would not validate it stating he has owned this place since November, didn't know about the pass, and wouldn't honor it despite showing him the paperwork that listed this location & the dates. Was not pleasant and had zero customer service skills - There are many solutions from a customer service and satisfaction stand-point that could have been worked out at the time to try and keep our business - Will definitely NOT be returning to support this business. read more

This review is for the batting cages: they have 5, the slow pitch baseball and fast pitch softball are the only ones that work but you have to stand about 6 feet in front of the red safety lines to be able to hit the balls. This place has gone downhill. We thought it was closed because of the lack of landscaping outside. Don't waste your time or money for the batting cages. read more

I had my son's 11th birthday party here. The staff were young, and recently started working under new management. They asked that I excuse their inexperience. Well, it turned out to be an advantage because they were very attentive. We had planned to use the party room and play golf. They let usr have tokens for the batting cages and arcade at the group rate bc we had more than 10 people. It looked like it might rain, so they offered that we could switch to arcade at no extra cost, but the weather held out. We let them order the pizzas from a local joint they use, and the pizza was very good, and a great price. Unlimited beverages... everyone was happy. We brought our own cake, and they served it for us, along with their ice cream for everybody! Highly recommend. read more

We played the mini golf course, and it was somewhat run down. The wooden benches were peeling and needed to be re-stained. Some of the wood was broken. The greens were dingy and dirty and needs to be power washed or somehow cleaned or replaced. It's a shame because if it was better maintained, it could be really nice. read more

We arrived very excited to play the mini golf however with that said we had an active free game from the GetOutPass that we bought a few months ago. We used the pass at multiple businesses and never had an issue. The employees at the front desk of Swingtime were polite and called the manager to see if they accepted it. The manager said they only accepted Groupon since they changed ownership last month. The manager/owner should have either removed the free game from the pass when they changed ownership or honored our free game but all the people at desk could do was give us 10% discount. We are very disappointed with how this location handles business. read more

Should have turned around when I saw all the trash that was around the entry door. However I proceeded so as not to disappoint my 2 grandsons. Their fountains aren't working so there is standing water that just breeds insects. They have 2 eighteen hole courses. The side we were on had standing water on two of the holes, making them unplayable. There are benches scattered but most were dirty and you wouldn't sit on them. Finally on the way out we stopped to use the rest rooms. My wife walked in and walked right out stating it was unusable. I took the boys to use the Men's room. Had to hold our breath as it smelled terribly. There was no soap in the dispenser either. Wish I had read the other review before going as I would have saved time and money. Hard to believe what they charge for such a very poor experience. read more

I have never once seen a batting cage that didn't provide bats until I came here. Very poor decision and it's not a COVID issue because they hand out golf clubs to people playing mini golf. read more

I don't even know where to begin. I never review places and love to support local businesses.. but I cannot let this go. My kids wanted to play mini golf and I remembered about 5 years back we brought them to SwingTime and had a good time. We visited this week and we were extremely disappointed and disgusted. The sticky filthy golf clubs were the very least of our worries. The grounds were overgrown and absolutely filthy. The entire outdoor area looked abandoned. The fencing and wood around the greens was all broken and falling apart. There was no water in the pond, there was hoses strung out all over the place and empty bottles of chlorine thrown about. Paint brush rollers scattered around the property. I actually cannot even believe that this place would be open for business when the place looks like it does. There was still standing water in some areas of the water feature and it was extremely buggy. There was lots of poison ivy through the jungle like terrain. The pvc piping that is meant for balls to go through on some holes were all cracked and broken. The greens had debris and dirt all over them. The batting cages were closed and you could see that all of the electrical boxes were open and wires hanging out everywhere. These were only a few complaints! We inquired about the property and was told it was new ownership. from looking at past reviews and photos it appears that the new owners are running this place into the ground. What a shame... The only decent part was the arcade area which we didn't even want to use bc we felt so grossed out that we just wanted to go home, bathe... and possibly get a tetanus shot. I will say the teenagers working there were pleasant. They have some nerve not just charging $50 for a family of four to golf but just being open in those conditions. We should have turned the car around when we pulled into the lot and saw how unkept the property was. If anyone is giving this place a review higher than 1 star, I can assure you it was coming from ownership. With that being said, we will never be returning. read more

This is an awesome minigolf course, really enjoyed all 36 holes, and the arcade is nice too. It is very nice and really beautiful. I remember having a Birthday Party there and it was awesome! And the food is not bad either. Seen better, but also seen worse. Also if you get rained out, they'll give you an E-Back, which is great! read more

A small place which I've visited with my nieces 3 tirmes and each time it has been pretty close to empty. You walk right up to almost any game, any batting cage, and each mini-golf putting hole - That's pretty hard to beat! The games are fun, in good condition, and not unreasonably priced. My nieces had a great time swinging the bat in the cages tonight (they beat me, apparently I'm slightly dumber than a bat and much slower than a baseball ... I guess this explains the little yellow bus which carried me to school when I was younger). We had a lot of fun, the place was reasonably clean, all of the games were in working order, and my nieces and I shared a lot of laughter. When you consider all this fun was had for a mere $25 price tag for the 3 of us, I'd say it was a really great way to share 90 minutes of family time. Grab your kids and go have some fun! read more

This place was so much fun! We were on vacation so we were there during the week while kids were in school. (Four adults, kids at heart!) Had the whole place pretty much to ourselves. Great mini golf. Fun courses. Great arcade! We had a blast playing bowling, Jurassic Park, air hockey, basketball, ski ball. Some games weren't working but no big deal. One of the few great options of thigns to do in the area if you are tired of the same old visits to the movie theater, mall, people's houses, and Barnes & Noble. Swingtime offers miniature golf, batting cages, and a large arcade that is unheard of outside of a board walk or amusement park. Although the arcade machines are dated, there are still plenty of fun options at 25 cents to 1 dollar per game such as LA machine gun, silent scope, DDR, and a variety of racing games.. None of that 1-2 dollar/per game bullshit. read more

Its a decent mini golf, batting cages and video game arcade in Howell. Its nice to have one here, but there is so much more potential that can be done in the place. The outside area just needs a little bit of work and a different concept and the mini golf needs a little bit of TLC. read more

I've been coming here for years. The employees are usually pretty rude here though. The last recent time I was there, throughout the day the same employee kept leaving smart remarks about us. Aside from that, I always have fun. The golf course is a little hard to see at night. A few of the wooden blocks that keep the golf balls on the course are worn down or destroyed. Swing time is a popular hang out spot that I have grown up going to. I have gone here a lot recently and it is always fun. I had to give it three stars though because of the overall cleanliness and how the mini golf course has been maintained. Swing time is two minutes down the road from me so it is very convenient and it is inexpensive so it's fine for me to go there. However, those who may travel out of their way for the experience will likely be disappointed. There are a few really nice new games inside (connect 4 and pac man), but there are so many games that are just plain filthy and many are breaking and a complete waste to play. The mini golf course was very disappointing because most of the holes have rips and folds on the course that mess you up when golfing, and there are many pieces that are badly falling apart. There was one bench my friend went to sit on the last time we were there that was completely uprooted from the ground, and another wooden piece on part of the course that I went to step on to go toward the hole and it moved out of place where I almost fell. It's just clearly not taken care of. The batting cages are the nicest part, but I definitely recommend bringing your own bat and helmet. It's nice if you're hanging out with friends and you're local and are aware of these issues, but if you're looking to take a trip here, you should probably save the gas. read more

Cute and charming place. Used a Groupon so it was very inexpensive to bring the kids for a fun afternoon. Yes, it's outdated and there's rt 9 traffic noise but honestly the kids don't care. The arcade is fun and the mini golf course could use some maintenance but it's fine for what you pay. My only issue is the turquoise colored fountain (kidding). read more
