I did some heavy research on Synthetic Grass, only to become more confused. After reading all the excellent reviews, I decided to visit the Synthetic Grass Store. The Phoenix location. It was a quick trip down the freeway from my home ( Fletcher Heights, near Arrowhead ) Clare Price took the time to show and explain all the different products to me. They offered them all. From putting green material, to lush, soft to the touch lawns. There has been such a huge advance in material and technology in the last few years. I was really impressed. The preparation process was explained fully to me. Along with several install and finish options. I was able to choose my product without pressure on selection. I decided to have them install for me. I am so happy I did. The entire process was painless. I actually spent far less than I had expected ( worried about). The crew showed up on schedule. Completed without a single surprise or added expense. My home looks fabulous! The product is a perfect match. Better than I had hoped for. My neighbors are very complimentary. I will have my backyard done next. On a side note... not only does my home look better, we have notice a decrease in dirt and dust in our home. Our home faces West. We feel the wind coming from the West, is no longer picking up dirt from our yard and blowing it towards our porch and entry. After getting 3 bids, with the highest at $12,000, we decide to go see synthetic Grass and find out what they would charge us just for the materials. We worked with Areida Corral, at the Avondale store, and she was amazing. The area of grass that we wanted installed was 15' x 55' and 15' x 14' and we really didn't want to have to seam it. We got the grass we wanted in a 15' x 55' roll and all the essential nails, and filler. We also got the other roll all for under $4000. It was fun trying to move the big roll as it weighs close to 600 LBS., but we got it out of the truck and on rolls and it is now in the backyard waiting for us to do the prep work. Don't think that you can't install this...I am 69 yrs. old and my wife is 57. We have done this all by ourselves. Will post pictures soon. read more

Best place to check out examples of fake lawns. I'm a landscaper and always refer clients to stop here and use their contractors so they see whaT they are getting before having it installed. They are easily located off the 101 & cave creek and have a good size show room aNd ttons of deferent examples of artificial turf throughout the outside of their property. I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Ask for Tasha. She was SO helpful and knowledgeable in the buying process. My landscaper messed up the install and she was able to send someone to help fix it. After the first few weeks I think over half of our street had complemented our grass and how real it looks. I wouldn't hesitate to buy here again. I really just wanted to express my thanks to Paul Bourgeois from the Mohawk, Phoenix location . I was about to order on-line but decided to call. I discussed my property and location with Paul. Paul was extremely knowledgeable about the products and cross country environments. He actually saved me by steering me towards a better choice that would better match my other discontinued synthetic grass. My initial choice would have looked awkward and was the wrong blade length. I have gone to the store in Mesa twice. The first time, they were busy and I had a hard time finding anyone to acknowledge me. I left unimpressed. The second time I thought I would give them another chance when it wasn't busy. I went earlier on a Saturday morning. I was the only person in the store. There was a young guy there and I began asking about different varieties and qualities. He briefly gave me a 30,000 foot overview, handed me an information/price sheet and then walked away. He seemed irritated to have to speak with me. After a few minutes, I turned and asked him how much a particular type of grass cost per foot. In a rather abrupt and curt manner, he barked that "the price is on the sheet I gave you." I don't need this type of attitude. I left. I have since found a great place in the East Valley that takes time with their customers. I would not recommend this store based solely on two poor interactions. It makes a person wonder if they are like this before a sale, what are they like after it? read more

I have used them a few times. Hopefully you don't get involved in a warranty claim with them. Although they say they stand by their product through the warranty process you really get the run around with no answers. read more

When my wife and I started looking into putting in synthetic grass, we examined all of our options. The first option we examined was having it installed. After getting a few quotes, we quickly realized that it was going to be incredibly expensive and that there was really zero customer service involved. The people who give the quotes are nothing more than salesmen, and every one tried to nickel and dime us. Going into the Synthetic Grass Store was incredibly refreshing. While this is the only store we visited (except Home Depot, which was insanely expensive), we chose this one to visit first because we could tell online that they had the best prices. Once we got into the store, we were astonished by the level of customer service. The woman who helped us (Amy) patiently explained all of our options without ever pressuring us to buy the higher quality turf. She never pressured us to buy anything. She simply asked what we were interested in, and then gave us a price sheet and samples to take home. First of all, we were very impressed by their pricing and range of options. We got their highest density turf for cheaper than what other companies were charging for the lowest density (not including installation). Before we chose what grass to get though, we decided to buy from this company solely due to the customer service. I have found that when you are investing this much money into buying something, you want to be sure the people you are buying from are reliable. Sure enough, this principle ended up proving itself. When all of our materials arrived, the delivery guy gave us tips about how to make the process easiest given the layout of our house (they had already provided a complete written set of DIY instructions). We were quite happy, and set to work with the installation. However, when we were installing the last piece, we realized that it was short. Not as in they tried to rip us off by a few inches, we're talking 6 feet short. Obviously an error in the machine that measures out the turf. Technically they could have given us the remaining 6 feet and called it good. I wouldn't have been thrilled with that since it would leave an extra seam. Fortunately, I never even had to argue that point. They immediately sent out the full 26 feet we needed, plus a little extra to make sure it was long enough. It's been about a month now, and we are still loving the grass. I often mistake it for the real thing when I look outside, and it feels great to lay down on and play with the dogs. If you are in the market for DIY turf, I highly recommend this company! read more
