The parking lot can be a little crazy but that's all Costco's. I don't always pay a ton of attention to prices, I get what I need because I know it's cheaper here and I don't come that often. But the other day I realized just how much cheaper Costco is. I went to Target and saw my avocado oil spray... $13.29 for one! I just bought a 2-pack at Costco for almost the same price, same size. I lost one hearing aid and had to go see the hearing aid center at Costco at PV. Leila was wonderful about keeping me informed about a cancellation so she was able to get me in sooner. She tested me so professionally and helped me pick the best one for me. She was charming and so kind. The hearing aids are so much more comfortable than the ones I had years ago and I hear so much better. She is excellent and so are the hearing aids. read more

Well, finally had to get tires for the wife's car. Put on a set of Michelins, they were able to order the OE tires and have them within a couple of days. Perfect match, and best price around. They beat the lowest quote I got by $80! Checked with Firestone, found out they didn't carry Michelin, then checked with Big-O and some other place. I'm happy with the purchase and the wife says the car drives smooth. Recommend Costco tire center to everyone. Thanks for the great work and not making a mess of the car. read more

My wife and I enjoy visiting Costco at Tatum and Cactus which is a much nicer Costco than some others and less hectic and lines than other locations. There are still days and times where there are long lines but Costco does different things to speed up the lines including self-checkout lines. We enjoy walking around, thinking of what we can use and what we can get as gifts for others, and trying the samples (well, that's more or less me). My wife has used almost all of the different services and departments before. It's clear that there's something for everyone in Costco. Once you are a member of Costco, you can purchase gas at the Costco Gasoline locations. There are then plenty of items including groceries that you can purchase often in bulk. The website now also includes a "treasure hunt" which is simply a rotating selection of items marked down or priced at extra value for a limited time. There is also a food court with very reasonably priced items including the long-time favorite of a jumbo hot dog and drink for only $1.50, which my grandfather and I used to love to get together. There is also travel, photos, pharmacy, optical, and more. Plus, you can get some tasty samples and even buy discounted gift cards. So joining Costco is about a lot more than just the gas, though that's certainly an attractive and added bonus to being a member! I used this Costco during my trip to Phoenix to get set for a friends get together dinner. I was doubtful when I started that would I find everything here, but this Costco got it all. The parking was bit challenging but able to find one. Typical process where you will get Id checked and then enter the store that will make your membership payment worth it. The staff is friendly in answering your questions. The collection of goods is of top quality both on the groceries, drinks and other home needs. I am impressed with the value for the money these locations provide. Plenty of options for seafood, meat. The salmon here is amazing and the raw frozen Shrimp served well for the party. The Bakery is great with lot of unique collections. This is a great store definitely on my list during next trip to PHX. read more

Costco was right near the Theatre we visited so we made a stop here. Saturday afternoon is not the best day to visit. I had a short list so my visit only lasted 15 minutes. I was not very familiar with this location but managed to find everything on my list except for one item. I did two impulse buys of apricots and sliced almonds but know I will eat them. A few vendors had their usual items to taste test in the hopes a customer would pick it up to purchase. This Costco was packed inside and out. I went to the self check out and had to wait briefly before using the system. There were staff working at every self check out register. I am not sure I understand how this is self check out. I'm already autistic and their customer base really bothers me but the employees especially in the optical department are the sole reason for most of my stars lol I love all of them they are all going to go places in life. But anyways today I had a bad experience with a receipt checker. For the first time my mom and I didn't have a receipt to check so we made that joke to him and he didn't even smile or look in our direction at all I felt like I was in the afterlife and he couldn't see me. That being said he may have had earphones in but still I pointed and clearly chuckled as I was jesting in a close proximity to him. It's been awhile since I've had a Costco membership. For a family of two vegans that don't drink much or buy granola in bulk, it just doesn't make sense to me. However, some of our appliances are starting to fail, so it might be time to look for big bargains. I agreed to go in with my husband for the basic membership just to see some prices and maybe find a product or two that could be worth getting. Little did I know that getting a Costco membership nowadays is about as tedious as sitting through a timeshare hard sell, but without the free vacation. Earlier I purchased hearing aids from my ENT doctors audiologist for $5,400. returned them as they just did not work correctly. They didn't have the kind we wanted in the case ready to go which was kind of a surprise. But my husband decided to ask the staff if they had one in the back and they did not. However they said they could have one ready at 10 AM the next day since this was not for a birthday party this was just for my family who Felt like having cake we took them up on that. This review is for the vision center ( we had very good results with a Dr. who moved to another office), we used the "new" doctor. My wife's exam seemed to go ok, they tried to upsell a number of services including buying glasses there. (We have another vendor who we use for glasses, a better value) We ordered the glasses exactly according to the RX- and the vision was way off. She went back to costco who confirmed that the glasses were as written, but that he'd made mistakes in the exam. A second exam was needed ( no cost, but c/mon) Glasses made to the 2nd exam were fine. We are fortunate that our glasses come from eyebuydirect.com and they allowed us an exchange, we only paid extra shipping. ( $15 x 2). Looking for a new vision care doctor... this is a really good Costco location. I love coming to this location anytime I need to buy a bunch of food and bulk. I actually have a pretty small family so I do not always get to come to Costco and buy bulk items. But during the holidays when I have a lot of my extended family coming over to my house it gives me an opportunity to come to Costco and buy a lot of things in bulk so I can feed multiple people. Every time I come here they have everything that I'm looking for. I even stopped by and bought a TV from this location once before lol. I literally have like seven TVs in my house. I definitely did not need another one but the deal that they had on their TVs was so good I could not pass it up! it is the winter time now and my lips get chapped pretty easy. I had an eye exam appointment with Dr. Habiby in the optical department at the Paradise Valley location this morning. This was by far the most thorough eye exam with new and old technology combined using trial frames/lenses. The doctor checks your vision like they normally do and follows up using these lenses and has you step out to look out in the store and you can see far or near or whatever is out there in the in the store. This will give you the most accurate prescription possible. You will no longer have to wait for three weeks for your brain and eyes to adjust to a new prescription. Costco Optical is straight GARBAGE! They slide you into deals with untrained opticians lacking the knowledge to sell medical products to patients. I was sold a pair of $180 Feragamo's and upon receiving the glasses realize that they don't fit properly and/or the RX is off. Also they sold me 140's instead of the 145's... again some thing that their employees should have checked and verified before completing the sale. But they don't care about selling you the right thing, just anything. So remember two things when shopping here, the lenses will be significantly heavier than the test frames and the employees could care less about you... just your money. Now even though I've NEVER been provided a product that is in proper working condition or that fulfills an order for a SPECIFIC product, I am being forced to just get over it. No refunds and no exchanges. I am not asking for a refund or exchange though. I'm asking for you to provide me the product that I bought initially that should fulfill my need for RX glasses. Why would I buy a case of water from you when all the bottles are empty when I'm trying to quench my thirst? Just doesn't make any sense. Now unfortunately due to their poor customer service, lack of knowledge, overall laziness and genuine lack of actual care or empathy.... I love Costco, but this Costco has become way too busy. Since the Central Phoenix Costco closed, everyone has been coming here. I can't imagine how busy it will be when PV mall opens up. A wonderful experience. Upon entering the establishment we were immediately greeted by the hostess. She required that we we show identification. Normally this would turn me off, especially since we didn't even have reservations, but this is an exclusive members only restaurant so we played by the rules. . Similar to a Cracker Barrel, you enter through their expansive gift shop. I purchased 800 paper plates which will last us a lifetime, and my partner found a good deal on a gallon of pistachios. You can order at the counter or on a kiosk. No table service was iffered, but with their great prices we understood. A lot of patrons were waiting on their hand-crafted pizza but we were there for the most popular menu item: steamed hot dogs! They came out within 17 seconds, piping hot, and gently tucked into warm, soft buns. You are offered simple topping options like mustard, ketchup, onions, and my fav, relish! A soft drink was included in the hot dog combo meal, and all of it was prepared to order for the amazing price of $1.50 plus tax. The hot dog was everything I expected. Salty with a snap. And very filling. We both were impressed! Looking forward to going back agaun with friends and out of town guests if we can get them past the histess. Good for kids. No reservations accepted. The absolute worst customer service today. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and I still had to wait 30+ minutes for it while people who ordered specialty pizzas (1/2 this & 1/2 that) got theirs before me. I kept asking and was continually told ours still wasn't ready. Meanwhile - we all could see the pizzas backed up in the oven and pushing out of the exit, almost falling to the floor. They had one employee working the station and it looked like some comedy train-wreck assembly line skit. All the pizzas (including ours) got over-cooked and even my grandson (who'll eat anything,) wouldn't eat it. Finally, I got another employee to look for my pizza and it had been done for 10 mins. A very disappointing experience. And I was there at 4pm...not during the after work rush. This location needs to get their staff knowledge/work-flow improved. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews because I'm not that person but I was so annoyed with my experience here. I purchase a new luggage set for my trip home and when I opened the box it was clearly used! The suitcases were covered in scratches and dog hair! I called customer service and management here and my only option is return the item. I mean sure that easy but I live in SLC and specifically went to Costco right before my trip home so I wouldn't have any crappy bags or issues because I'm on a time crunch.
