I was blown away on how nice everyone was while I was there because nowadays that is hard to find. Super helpful, outgoing and professional. Now for the rest of the experience, it has been challenging. There are employees that are standing around conversing and when I ask for help it's almost an inconvenience because it seems they want to get back to their socializing. I have asked a few times for items and just pointed to the direction they might exist, with the exception of Rachel and the Clinique personal. As I browsed through the store there were lots of tags on items, deals, discounts, and % off. The Clinique person said if I make a purchase I get a gift. Once I got to the counter and asked the clerk they said " oh that promotion ended yesterday". Every item I put on the counter I was told the same thing, the promotion ended yesterday we just haven't had a chance to change the tags. I ended up only getting one item that apparently was still on sale. The lip gloss I use was advertised as on sale for the minis. When I brought the person to the display she looked it up and said they don't carry minis. Very disappointed. I also tried to return an item with another employee, but it was too late to return. The clerk never looked at me, I complimented their hair, they said they just got it done. I could not tell you the persons eye color because they kept their head down, didn't engage and I felt like I was an inconvenience. I was with a bridal party of 9 girls who came in to get our hair in updos. We were told to arrive…read moreat 7 since there was a large group but had to wait around for about 30 minutes for the stylists to arrive. After they arrived things started to run more smoothly. Then it was the bride's turn. Although she went in previously for a test run (which went well and she was very pleased!) the stylist decided to try something new which was not what she wanted. We ended up redoing her hair later. The 2 other stylists were focused and did a good job on the other girls hair (pretty side braids and all!). When it was my turn I asked for a SIMPLE low bun. The stylist decided to "do her own design" which ended up being a total nightmare. She complained that my hair was too thick and that she could not pin it back the way I wanted. I ended up looking like a Victorian grandmother and was horrified to say the least. I had to redo my hair myself and thankfully turned out much better. To make it worse we were all charged $50 when it was agreed earlier that the bride would pay $50 and the bridesmaids would pay $35-$40. If you have a large wedding party I suggest you don't go here and save yourself the headache of redoing your hair.
