For those who don't wanna drive all the way to swap meet.

For those of you who are looking for Hawaii shirt goodies to give away to family and friends who's not from here, this is the place to go for cheap deals especially for those who live around the area and don't want to drive all the way to Aloha Stadium and walk around in the scorching hot sun. Always passed by this place whenever I'm in the area but never did check it out. But since my family member were looking for cheap shirts that says anything dealing with Hawaii, I decided to check it out because I was not in the mood to make my way to the Swap Meet just for shirts and since this place is only a few minutes a way from home, decided to see what they had to offer. There's parking right in front of the store. I went around noon and there were open parking spaces available. It wasn't so busy on a Saturday so I assume not too many people go to this place unless they know about it. This place is actually a warehouse filled with lots of clothing of all sorts especially Hawaii/Hawaiian designs. Exactly what you would find at the Swap Meet. The best deals were buy 8 shirts for only $20 and tanks were $4 for $20. These were the deals I were looking for to ship to my relatives. Found some Hawaii towels at the price of $3 for $20. So this would probably be a place I would go to if I don't want to go to Swap Meet and pay the entrance fee as well as walk around in the sun. Although it is a warehouse, there is no air conditioning inside so expect that it'll be hot inside. It is organized like a swap meet where its in sizes and theres signs that tell you which designs that will cost more than others. There's also variety selection of kids sizes as well. Some signs says cash only but not too sure how their policy works on when you can use credit cards. I bought $70 worth so I was able to use a credit card. It's worth a shot for those who are looking for CHEAP HAWAII SHIRTS! Anything that says Hawaii, tourists will love.

Ask the Community - The T-Shirt Store

    Average cost of the t-shirts?

It varies by designs and material. They should be similar to the Aloha Stadium flea market prices. 3 for $20 or around there. Checking on what my friend paid.

Although their warehouse is packed to the gills, we always find something different here than at the swap meet or in stores.

Sure, you could walk to the Ala Mona…read moremall but you're going to spend a ton of money for one toy vs at Keiki 2 Keiki you can let your kids go wild and pick out many things. I was surprised to find that things were priced cheaper than the Once Upon a Child stores we have on the mainland-- particularly the clothes. Speaking of clothes, we found Barbie clothes that normally are $10+ at the store here for only $1.99 new in package! Like new backpacks for like $5.99 and much much more! (loved the $0.99 books). And the quality of the clothing for sale was fantastic for being secondhand-- even the swimsuits. I will say that the store isn't the easiest to navigate (there is A LOT in here) but perhaps that's part of the fun (you could always ask the owner where to locate stuff if you're looking for something in particular). This shop is great way to fill your hotel room with some toys too just incase you have the unfortunate experience of getting sick on vacation or get really badly sunburnt and need a day in (keeps the kiddo happier). Owner was nice too, allowed my daughter to use the restroom. PS If you're a Disney fan there were lots of hidden gems, from Disney pins to Disney purses/packs to jewelry and more!

She's at the age where she changes shoe sizes every couple months and we're not sure she's going to be a Ginger Rogers. The store is somewhat cluttered with lots of great deals. Every square inch is covered with merchandise. The clerk/owner is Aloha friendly and will help you find something. Several other people were shopping for clothes and backpacks. We did find the tap shoes at about a third of the price of new shoes. What was nice is that she could try them on so we could sure they fit right before we bought them. She tried about six pair before we found the perfect fit. (She is a princess, for sure.) We also picked up a gymnastics leotard for her for a couple bucks. The shop has a small shared parking lot with free parking.

I would stock up on socks and sweaters with abandon from the Uniqlos closer to my home in San Francisco. That was why it surprised me that I would seek out this familiar store at the mammoth Ala Moana Center. However, I had seen a local vlogger's YouTube video where he showcased the Hawaiian-exclusive clothing they sell here. Jamie W and I decided to drop by when we were at Ala Moana. Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition. If you think one Uniqlo is like another, reconsider and come here. RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://yelp.to/06Oa2Epa6T

Shopping in Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. I'm so happy to see Aunty Shirley again! She used to have a shop on Maunakea Street, next to Cindy's Lei Shop! She's so sweet, organized, efficient, and has a great memory! Now, she has two stalls (both sides of the aisle) at The Marketplace at City Square. Look for her at the end of the building, right before the restrooms! She offered to let me try on some dresses, but I will pass because the prices are so good! One piece is $7 and two pieces total $10! She also has 3 for $10 deals on t-shirts, golf shirts, and children's clothing! Take a look! You might find a vintage Tommy Bahama shirt for $12 or a Cooke Street Aloha Shirt for $10! Parking is free, so come on over!

Aunty's Ukay Ukay is located in Marketplace at City Square and thanks to Nadine C she showed me that there's this place who had relocated from Chinatown and have found a new home here and you'd never know as it's primarily known to shop for groceries and other relatable items. You just need to walk all the way in the back by the restrooms (which I had no idea they had) and you can't miss her with racks of all types of clothings. A simple set up but the variety for both adults and kids from shirts to dresses I was quite impressed of the choices she has and the prices are just so hard to resist as what makes an outfit is how you present it and with values like this you'd be looking fabulous at a great price. Thank you!
