This is my first time here. This is a collectible store of many well known Japanese animated characters. But, my friend said we should go after our brunch at Sakura Terrace. So, we did! I was like this kid in a toy store. My friend purchased a nice red Snoopy Giver bag, Snoopy giver coin bag, and baby Grogu (Yoda?). I purchased two t-shirts for my granddaughter, 3 cans of He-Man, some Skull guy, and Robin. If you get gold versions of those characters, it's worth some bucks! But I found a 18" Harry Potter. He and one shirt were 20% off which saved me $45. I can't complain and had a budget in mind which did better than expected. However, I'm not through and intend to return. There are so many collectibles! Clothes were 50-60% off. Billionaires brand clothes were on sale too! Come on down...check it out! Ciao!!!

Service was amazing not too many shoe selection but lots of clothing and lots of Bape. Prices were too expensive but the shop looked very cool

The staff was nice and knowledgeable about the products. I was looking for BAPE and BBC. Check them out the store is cool. I picked up a shirt in my size their site was sold out of. Check out my other pics of Hawaii on IG - brrtowers

Bait is a bright new shop with toys, clothing, and shoes

As many times…read moreas I have window shopped at Salvage Public at South Shore Market throughout the years, it wasn't until I saw Hōkūpa'a, Nāpali, and another staff (I hope you can forgive me for not asking for your name) at their pop-up location in Hilo. The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

Hawaii's Finest Clothing is like walking into a club as this vibrant shop does start from it's storefront with the cool neon logo shining bright along side the huge window with their various logos. Walking in you can see that every corner of the shop is filled with amazing decor that sometimes felt secondary to the merchandise, even their music is showcased with flair. So much to choose from along with lots of clearance items making it a great deal shopping here is an experience to find clothing for the whole group. Service here is very friendly and helpful though I didn't find anything today know that I will be back to support this amazing local small biz as they have so many great clothing to express ourselves. Thank you!

First the female sales associate said they didn't carry the color he received, but he said he just wanted a small shirt. She said he had to return it to where he got it from....IT WAS A GIFT!!! He didn't know where they got it from. Then he found a small in the other shirt he received and the male sales associate asked if he had a gift receipt. No, we didn't have one. So he asked "when did you receive it?" My husband said on May 19. He said "Oh, that's more than 30 days-we can't exchange it." Today is the 20th of June. Seriously!?!?! One day late and no grace period!?!??! So now he's stuck with 2 shirts that he can't use....So CAUTION! DO NOT BUY ANY GIFTS from this place. I know if the person he got the gifts from knew they had such a strict policy, she would have warned him to rush and exchange them. Horrible customer experience. Never setting foot in this store again!

The brand has a long history in street culture, and this location reflects that identity with a clean and minimalist retail space focused entirely on the clothing. The store layout is simple and well organized, which makes it easy to browse through the collections. Racks feature a mix of graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and other staple pieces that the brand is known for. The designs maintain the classic Stüssy style that blends surf, skate, and street culture influences. One thing that makes this location interesting is the connection between the brand and Hawaii's surf culture. Stüssy originally emerged from surf roots in California, and seeing the brand represented in a place like Waikiki feels very fitting. The shop tends to attract both visitors and locals who are interested in streetwear and limited releases. The environment inside is relaxed and focused more on the clothing itself rather than flashy retail design. What stood out to me most was how the store maintains the authenticity of the Stüssy brand while fitting naturally into the Waikiki shopping scene. Overall, Stüssy Honolulu is a great stop if you are into streetwear or want to check out one of the well-known global brands located along Kalākaua Avenue.

I would stock up on socks and sweaters with abandon from the Uniqlos closer to my home in San Francisco. That was why it surprised me that I would seek out this familiar store at the mammoth Ala Moana Center. However, I had seen a local vlogger's YouTube video where he showcased the Hawaiian-exclusive clothing they sell here. Jamie W and I decided to drop by when we were at Ala Moana. Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition. If you think one Uniqlo is like another, reconsider and come here. RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://yelp.to/06Oa2Epa6T

Is now the biggest support for our soles as I remember shopping here for my shoes when I was very little was very surprise to see that they have survived all the big shops filled with styles that many crave for though I must admit that I haven't been there in decades until having feet problems and my podiatrist suggested picking up some support for my sad and aching feet. Located on the ground floor of University Plaza which is right behind Raising Cane's on South King Street and the entrance is easiest on Kuilei St as University Ave can get very busy with traffic. You can see their sign right below the staircase though I accidentally walked into a vape shop lol Uyeda is located right beside it. Walking in I can instantly tell it's not at all what it used to be though it's so nice and clean and very organized a lady came out to greet me and find out what I was looking for and for me to describe what foot issues I have as I was told that many bartenders and various working folks that are on their feet constantly are regulars here. Seeing a rack with Oofos and Hoka shoes just to name a few are all known for comfort. As I found the insoles and suggestions it's the place to come for Black Friday she says as everything is 20% off and as these shoes are pricey the value of your feet as it's the foundation of it all is worth every penny. Thank you!
