I needed some new pants hemmed and remembered this little shop existed. I went in after work and the woman working had me put the pants on, marked them. It was $18/pair which was worth it for me as I have no desire to hem anything. A week later the pants were done and the hem is perfect. In addition to alterations to the brides gown, made it easy for her to get in and out of her reception gown for the wedding reception. Suk is the owner who worked for the previous owner and eventually took over the business. She is a no nonsense lady who does beautiful work! This is my first time going to her but it won't be my last. Ignore the old building's interior and focus on her quality of work. I bought a $90 dress for $13 at a consignment store and Suk shortened the dress in two different areas along with sewing the bust area. I appreciated that she gave me two options in my initial consultation for sewing the complicated shoulders. I took the more expensive but long-lasting and nicer route. When I came in to pick up my item, I retried the dress and she helped me decide on one area to sew while I waited a literal minute. It was $30 and I feel worth the price. Alterations will never be cheap but for how long and as much as I wear dresses (all the time) this piece will be a staple for years to come! Arigato Suk!
