The place is extremely clean and is a very comfortable relaxing atmosphere. I had a design for a bat tattoo I wanted. I went in and spoke to Travis and made an appointment letting him know I wanted a bat tattoo. When I came back for my appointment, Travis had a drawing he had made of a bat. It was an expected surprise. The drawing he did was of a little bat hanging upside down from a branch. Well, I brought my drawing I had made and he used my drawing. He tattooed my drawing exactly. It was amazing. I was extremely pleased. When I got home, I had to call back and let Travis know, I wanted him to tattoo the drawing he had done!!! I have one each calf. I call them Stella and Luna. Two hours before my original appointment, I received a call saying that my artist was sick and would not be able to make it. I completely understand that things happen and that emergencies are sometimes unavoidable, so I was willing to be understanding and rescheduled for the following week. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was an even worse experience. My appointment was at 12:00 PM, and I arrived on time. I ended up waiting over an hour before my artist even showed up. When she finally arrived around 1:15, she told me she had slept in (mind you it was middle of the day) She did not appear prepared or professional, and at that point I was already extremely frustrated. Despite all of that, I still tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and waited another 30 minutes. Even after waiting all that time, none of the sketches for my tattoos had been prepared, and we still were not ready to begin. At that point, I decided I had to leave. I felt completely disrespected and as though my time, money, and excitement about these tattoos meant absolutely nothing. What made it worse was that I barely received an apology for the situation. What I find especially frustrating is that there is a non-refundable $200 booking fee required to make an appointment. If customers are expected to respect the shop's policies and pay a substantial non-refundable fee to reserve their time, then I believe the shop and artists should show that same level of respect for the customer's time. My original appointment was canceled just two hours beforehand, and when I rescheduled, I was left waiting for over two hours with an artist who wasn't prepared to work. I understand that people can get sick and that things can happen, but the way this entire situation was handled was unacceptable. I wasted hours of my time, was left feeling completely disrespected, and walked away without receiving the service I had scheduled or any meaningful accountability for what happened. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. I came in excited to get tattoos I had been looking forward to for years, and instead I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and taken advantage of.

I waited over an hour into my scheduled appointment time just to overhear one of the tattoo artists training the piercer on tattooing talking about how "it's crazy how no one's in the shop today" & had to personally contact my artist and wait almost another hour to hear he was unable to finish the last of his books and has relocated; nothing was relayed to me. & notifications were still being sent out for appointments. Jon is the piercer there and had made many comments that felt hostile upon meeting him the first time (i was just in for a tattoo with another artist and he kept popping in the room) about his superiority and hate for sex workers and particular groups of people. disgusted.
