I honestly cannot believe how poorly I was treated during my experience here. I had scheduled an appointment for two tattoos that I had been wanting for years, so I was genuinely excited and looking forward to finally getting them done. Two hours before my original appointment, I received a call saying that my artist was sick and would not be able to make it. I completely understand that things happen and that emergencies are sometimes unavoidable, so I was willing to be understanding and rescheduled for the following week. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment was an even worse experience. My appointment was at 12:00 PM, and I arrived on time. I ended up waiting over an hour before my artist even showed up. When she finally arrived around 1:15, she told me she had slept in (mind you it was middle of the day) She did not appear prepared or professional, and at that point I was already extremely frustrated. Despite all of that, I still tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and waited another 30 minutes. Even after waiting all that time, none of the sketches for my tattoos had been prepared, and we still were not ready to begin. At that point, I decided I had to leave. I felt completely disrespected and as though my time, money, and excitement about these tattoos meant absolutely nothing. What made it worse was that I barely received an apology for the situation. What I find especially frustrating is that there is a non-refundable $200 booking fee required to make an appointment. If customers are expected to respect the shop's policies and pay a substantial non-refundable fee to reserve their time, then I believe the shop and artists should show that same level of respect for the customer's time. My original appointment was canceled just two hours beforehand, and when I rescheduled, I was left waiting for over two hours with an artist who wasn't prepared to work. I understand that people can get sick and that things can happen, but the way this entire situation was handled was unacceptable. I wasted hours of my time, was left feeling completely disrespected, and walked away without receiving the service I had scheduled or any meaningful accountability for what happened. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. A very nice lady greeted us, checked us in, and explained that Edsel was still with a client. She mentioned that she was free and would love to do the tattoo, especially since it was their first, but she had to ask Edsel. She said he declined, stating that he would be done soon. At this point, it wasn't a big deal since we were super early. However, our appointment time came and went. About 20 minutes later, Edsel finished with the person in the chair and then took another person who had come in after us. He didn't acknowledge us or say a word to explain what was going on, even though it was well past our appointment time, and he was taking walk-ins. We were talking loudly about how insane this was when the nice lady came back, seeing that we were becoming more and more upset. She explained that she couldn't just take us because Edsel was the boss and it was his shop. Then, she showed us the person I thought was a walk-in was actually a scheduled client and that Edsel had double-booked himself. Finally, an hour after our appointment time, Edsel spoke to us for the first time and took us back. Other than putting my kid in a weird, uncomfortable position, the tattoo went fine. He didn't say much to us during the whole hour-long tattoo session. After already being there for an extra hour, my kid only wanted the outline done, but afterwards, Edsel said he added some shading to make it look better. He never apologized for wasting an hour of our time with no explanation, he didn't even acknowledge that it happened. My friend made a reservation about 2 weeks out and they made us put a down payment of $100 for each of which was a little pricey for how small the tattoos were gonna be. It was 3 of us getting celestial matching tattoos. Once we got there we talked to the receptionist and she told us that was a little pricey as well and she said that the price should be closer to $60 each. So we filled out our paperwork and then talked to our artist who was very chill and cool. It under an hour for us to get our tattoos. After the fact, our artist then talked to the owner and asked about the cost and he said "yea it should be all covered then". The tattoo was meh as you can tell but that's not what I'm mad about. For less than a nickel size tattoo, $100 is way overpriced especially with this shabby line work. The aftercare is that we received was just a pamphlet. read more

Owner is a piece of shit. Paid $100 deposit over the phone for an overpriced tattoo appointment that the receptionist said was to compensate in case I didn't show up to appointment. I tried to cancel appointment same day I scheduled it but no one answered the phone. Called them first thing then next day to cancel and was told it was non refundable. Was never emailed a receipt like owner claimed stating it was non refundable, in fact they never even asked for an email. Never once did she say it was non refundable if appointment was canceled when I scheduled, was just told was to cover a no show. When questioned owner got hostile with me and hung up on me. Then proceeded to leave fake bad reviews on my company like a fucking child. He couldn't just do the right thing and refund me. Would never do business with an unethical business like his. Nowhere on website does it say deposits are non refundable. Nowhere during the conversation with receptionist did she mention this important fact either. On his website he states: " I pride myself on being up front with anyone who comes in. This also means that I do talk people out of tattoos. He said there were 2 people ahead of me and to come back around 5:00. at 4:55 he was ready for me. Very professional, great artwork, clean shop with no "I'm cooler than you" attitude. The detail of the work is amazing with reasonable prices. Shop minimum is $80.00, and I imagine that'd be for a Chinese character or something simple like that. read more
