A cute little beverages shop on State Street in Orem. They specialize in Korean tea drinks flavored with fresh fruit syrups (cheong)

I was really excited to see a place like this and to try it! The matcha was so disappointing.....and for the price I paid. It also wasn't clear to me that I had to sweeten my own drink?.....my matcha was gritty and had zero sweetness. Couldn't even taste any ube. I had to use the honey on the shelf (no idea if that's the intent) to sweeten my own drink and it wouldnt mix well cause it was cold.....just a horrible experience. It was bad enough that I'll get my matcha elsewhere. It's a cute place and the service was good. The drinks and treats just aren't executed well....

Charming Korean Shop! Staff and owner are educational, kind, patient and appreciate of the business. I really enjoyed learning about the Korean menu and tasting the drinks and food. The shop is really cute inside and I loved the barn theme throughout with the Korean tea shop flare. The inside was warm and inviting. They also serve BYU creamery ice cream! Everything was delicious!!

I've been to The Tea Barn a few times and while the ambience and staff are nice, I didn't really enjoy the drinks I ordered. I've only had their Korean traditional teas (jujube and hibiscus), which I found to be lacking in flavor. On the other hand, I did enjoy their yakgwa. I have heard that their specialty drink, cheong, is good, but I can't comment on that since I don't like sweet drinks. I would come back to attend one of the events that they occasionally host, but I won't go their to get tea.

Thank goodness for this place! They have excellent sesame coffee! Omg! Not too sweet like most places here in Utah. Definitely recommend!

I'm going to be honest, this place is mid. I loved the uniqueness of the drinks but the execution is not that good. Just do not get the matcha. The matcha tastes powdery, it's organic but most likely latte grade. The ade I got, tasted too strong of just sparkling water and not enough fruity flavor. The fruit cheongs they use are overly sweet/syrupy and carry little flavor (I've tried the pineapple, lemon, and orange). Overall, the prices do not fit the quality. I do want to note, I tried their peach cheong matcha latte the second week of their opening and it was decently good. I went back a few weeks later for their BTS limited drinks, the matcha was just not good. I wonder if they changed matcha suppliers. Also, it costed +$2 for the smallest scoop of icecream for the Belgium waffle, do not get the icecream but the waffle itself was probably the best thing out of everything I tried there. It tasted like a sugar crusted croffle.

We went here last Sunday, and the tea and coffee was excellent. The rice cake plate was also quite tasty, if a little expensive. It seemed comparable to tea and coffee I have had in Korea. I love how the fruit jams and syrups are made in house. It was very crowded, and I don't really recommend it for small children, but the experience overall was great.

Strawberry chocolate latte, Belgian waffle with strawberry, fish wafers, and strawberry chai latte

This Korean tea place is such a hidden gem The vibes are cozy and aesthetic, and everything feels so thoughtfully put together. I tried the strawberry chocolate latte and it was perfectly balanced not too sweet, super smooth, and clearly made with high quality ingredients. The menu has so many fun and unique flavors, it was honestly hard to choose. The staff was really kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It's the perfect spot to study, hang out with friends, or just treat yourself. I'll definitely be coming back

The cheong strawberry matcha iced latte is so good I come almost everyday. It's so smooth, 10/10 recommend to everyone

Strawberry matcha latte, Yakut kiwi, fish pastry, and misutgaru tea

I'm picky about my tea drinks and I have to say I was very impressed by this place. All the drinks we got were tasty, made with fresh ingredients , and there are so many that I plan to try. My go to drink is a strawberry matcha and I could tell they use high quality matcha and fresh strawberries that balanced out nicely. My husband is a tea addict and he was very pleased with his Korean misutgaru tea. My son got a yummy Yakut kiwi drink as well. There were plenty of tea, coffee, and non caffeine options. The flavors of both the drinks and treats were on point. They even sell their homemade cheong/syrups to take home. The location is very quaint with plenty of space to hang out. Parking is easy and service was great. I plan to go back soon!

Drinks and desserts were all amazingly delicious! Very nice plating snd a great atmosphere. Workers were very polite and friendly about giving recommendations. Will be back soon to try more of their menu!

When we arrived and sat down, we were greeted by Joe telling us that "House rules, you're not allowed to order the same item". Lol. Love that guy! We both ordered Denver omelets, one without onions, extra mushrooms, French toast, and grits and one without mushrooms, hash browns, and pancakes. First off, the pancakes were amazing! They're light, had crispy edges, and had a wonderful flavor. But the best thing was it was in the shape of little donuts, which was a nice surprise. Our entrees came but were somehow got switched. We didn't realize it at first but both were still good. Unfortunately, my wife put Chalula on hers and I put Tobasco on mine and we don't like each other's choice of condiments. The other unfortunate thing was that I had an eggshell in my omelet. Even though we had these misfortunes you can't hide the flavor of these dishes and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. My grits were too sweet today. If it's too sweet for me, it must've been really sweet. The only other criticism I saw was that they were filling the syrup bottles from large Log Cabin jugs. They also were using Idahoan shredded potatoes from a large carton. I can understand the potatoes but how great would it be to have freshly made syrup. Still a great experience and they are still one of the best breakfast places on the state.

This warm, friendly welcome set the tone for the whole experience. Joe stopped by and told us the "rules". Everyone orders something different and we all share. My daughters both ordered waffles but one got it in a combo so she could follow the rules. I got the breakfast burrito with Texas sausage & bacon. My husband got the eggs & diced ham with a side of biscuits and gravy. My son got the French Dip because you can order breakfast or lunch at 10 am. Everyone ate a good portion if not all of their food. It was good. We will definitely be back. For the food but more for the service!

The real surprise though was the Million Dollar Potatoes -- they were seriously amazing and probably my favorite thing we tried. Also wanted to give a special shout-out to the wonderful lady at the front desk (I believe her name was Sherry). She popped by a maybe 2 times to check on us, and she had forgotten our sons drinks (we ordered 2 kids meals that came with drinks and only got one) we had to remind her to bring them, but still only got one kids milk. I had ordered the salmon Benedict and it was not good. It said the salmon would be smoked but it was for sure raw salmon. Not the flavors I wanted to for breakfast and it didn't pair well at all with the hollandaise sauce or anything. I only ate the potato's that came with the dish. My husband ordered the veggie omelette and ate that and my the rest of my dish (because he didn't want me to send it back) The pros to this was a decent kids menu, plus size seating friendly, big restaurant great for small and large parties, and clean bathrooms The cons over priced even if it is made fresh to order or more clean, still very over priced in my opinion, need larger water cups, maple syrup was to hot to touch for a couple minutes, and the music was very loud. All in all probably won't go back due to pricing, unless it is comped or our family is buying , but ya it was fine.
