We tried the tea at Flour and Feed. Also saw it offered at the Brownie House.

I have given very few 2's as a Yelper. The 2 is totally about the customer service we received. Surly, not engaged, and didn't suggest any additional purchases ... by the owner. Getting any information about making reservations or tea selections were not welcomed. Large selection of teas, teapots, teacups, honey, strainers, and all things tea. We saw high tea being served and reviewed the menu. We know 3 little girls who would love to get dressed up and have a day trip for high tea. No rewards program. We purchased quite a bit of tea and accessories. A rewards program would encourage return visitors.

Such a hidden gem! The service was excellent and the food was incredible! They have so many unique gifts as well. Definitely a bang for your buck! I'll be back asap!

The sandwiches from the tea tower were phenomenal. The lil desserts were super delicious and it was such a cute place. The prices were also great. Kinda sad that they made our party (we had reservations) sit at 2 separate tables, but otherwise it was great. Just know if you've got more than 5-6 then they might split you up

Tea service (four sandwhich types, four desserts, and a scone per person!). With delicious clotted cream and lemon curd.

One of my absolute favorite spots! It will be one of my most missed restaurants in Morgantown now that I won't be here as often for work. I highly recommend the tea service. You get four types of tea sandwiches (that you can sub for almost any sandwhich if you find like one). You also get a scone of choice, four assorted mini desserts and a pot of tea. You can also add soup and or a slice of quiche all for around $20-$22. Can't beat it! I only wish pittsburgh had a yea shop like this. The food is always fabulous and they have a great tea menu (and can ship from their online shop as well!). They also host very fun themed nights for adults or kids (I recently went to a downton abbey themed night and it was a blast)! Make sure you stop here if ever in Morgantown.

Such a cute tea shop! I fell in love! We went for an afternoon tea and got the Royal Tea Service which includes sandwiches, scones and desserts for $21.99. Everything taste good, it's hard to pick a favorite! The scones are glorious. And for the tea, they had so many options to choose from like 2 pages in the menu! I ended up picking Matcha green tea. The teapots came in different colors and they were all cute. They gave us a brewing tea time in a form of pendulum that tells us when our tea is already drinkable and i thought that was a cute ad on! Service was good too. We met the owner, she was the one who got us seated and was so pleasant! Our waitress was lovely and made sure we got everything we need. They also have a cute little shop where you can buy tea, teapots and other afternoon tea time essentials. We surely be coming back!

It was a great experience. The teas tastes great. We spend our evening there and we loved it. The price was also good.

We spent our evening there and we lived it. The tea tastes great with good price. We took a lot of great photos and enjoyed our time there.

Today was my first time trying The Tea Shoppe and it was wonderful! The decor and atmosphere were wonderful and the food was great! There was a tomato basil dressing that was simply amazing! The variety of tea is amazing! Definitely recommend checking it out!

The dinning area is larger than I expected. They have 2 & 4 person tables. The tea list is huge

Any gluten free and dairy free options?

Hi Christine -- yes, we do carry GF bread and always have fresh salads. Most of our desserts will have some dairy (cream, eggs) in them. Hope this helps

I was super happy to see this coffee shop…read morewhile walking around downtown Morgantown, because I really needed a boost, and this place had what I was desperately in need of: caffeine! It was well past 2 o'clock, and I try not to drink coffee after 11ish-o'clock, because it usually messes with my sleep. But I remembered the words of a man much wiser than me who once said, "I never sleep, 'cause sleep is the cousin of death," so I felt like a lil' iced coffee would actually be beneficial, in this case. No regrets. The iced coffee was great! I always forget about iced coffee when I'm at a coffee shop, because I just usually order a hot black coffee. I'm so stuck in my ways, sometimes! But iced coffee was a good choice in this situation, and it came with a little vanilla cream, which was unexpected but a nice indulgence. The Grind is located right across the street from West Virginia University. It was packed when I visited, and I imagine it is almost always packed, because of its location. But the people who work here are very efficient and friendly, and my iced coffee was ready lickety-split. I got my coffee to go, but there are some tables inside the coffee shop to sit and relax, if you wanted to. One of my favorite things about The Grind is that they have a confession box in the restroom. I left a little confession in the box, because it promised that the box was "a safe place to share what you can never tell a soul," and I felt that I could trust this random coffee shop in West Virginia with my whole heart. I left my confession there, and took my iced coffee with me and went on my way.

I made a reservation for the High Tea for my husband and me. An employee promptly seated us. I felt disappointed that this tea room gave us plain white teapots without loose leaves and that they did courses rather than use a three-tier stand of foods, but we did have some choice in the teas and foods, and they did taste very good. The High Tea consists of the following: pots of hot water with a large selection of tea bags, choice of cold drinks, scone with devonshire, choice of soup, salad, three sandwiches, and choice of three desserts. For drinks, we chose four teas--cinnamon plum, peach and passionfruit, English breakfast, and salted caramel--not just two teas like at other tea rooms. We received colds teas, peach and sweet, included in the price. For foods, we chose two scones, M&M and one other that I forget. We chose two soups, which were chicken noodle and cheesy potato. The salad contained greens, cheeses, peanuts, cranberries, and raspberry dressing. The three sandwiches were cucumber, tomato-bacon-basil, and my favorite of chicken salad. For desserts, we chose lemon cake, carrot-cake cupcake, pineapple cake (?), cheesecake, brownie, and my favorite of cherry-chocolate ice cream. I appreciated having a cold dessert in the middle of the hot summer, and it was one of the best ice creams that I have ever tasted.

The waitress was very attentive to our needs and the staff were friendly. The decor was amazing to see so many beautiful teapots and teacups and to be surrounded by such beautiful tea sets.
