Great food! Service could have been better. We were having our tires changed and this was across the parking lot. It was around 1 pm. We waited over 20 minutes to get our order taken after we received our drinks(teas). The people working were super nice and it wasn't busy not sure what the problem was. We almost left. Glad we stuck around. The place was clean and had a relaxing vibe. We ordered the Bacon & Blue Honey Flatbread Served on a 12" Oval Flatbread With Mexican Crema, Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Bacon, and a Drizzle of Hot This was soo good! We would go back for just this and I'm not a bread eater. It melted in your mouth. Warm cheese followed by warm hot honey! We also had piled high nachos with brisket added for $4. We chose the beer cheese. They too were really good with fresh tomatoes onions and jalapeño s. The meat was tender and juicy. The gal serving us offered teas to go. Ordered a Cobb salad with brisket instead of chicken......which I was charged an extra 6 bucks for n not told there would be an upcharge. But this salad was served with a brown over ripe avocado.....yuck!!! Asked the manager or owner about it & he proceeded to tell me well you know Avocados just get bruises on them, that's how they are.....but I'll try to find you a better one. Came out with more of the same on a plate n said this is the best I can do. He had a crappy attitude about right from the start which told me he really didn't care n at that point I knew I would never be back. As a person who eats alot of Avocados I know that they only get brown from being over ripe n not used. I would never serve an avocado that looked like that. Tried Tennessee Grill today for breakfast and enjoyed it overall. It was relatively simple as I got two eggs and patty sausage with hash browns and coffee. My daughter got the same with jalapeño bacon and she loved it. The service was good with a hometown friendly feel. It is a good place for a breakfast but they do serve more than breakfast. The location is just off the freeway and convenient. It is worth a try! :) read more

I've been twice in the last 30days and both times the food was really good! I went during lunch and ordered the seafood platter the first time and everything was fried well I thought the seasoning was a tad bit salty but nothing major the catfish was my favorite it was huge and u get two pieces that or cod so my coworker and I got both and traded so we could taste both. The fired okra was really good too and they give you more than enough food!! I read some reviews that said they were slow but I thought I waited a normal amount of time considering there was only one waitress she was nice and attentive so it was cool! They also have a full bar on one side or you can order to your table if you don't want to sit on the bar side.. We stopped in on our way thru town for a lunch break. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap (grilled vs fried) with Cole slaw and hubs ordered a Chicago style dog with fries. The chicken in the wrap is actually kept 'whole' vs sliced so it did feel like you were getting ore chicken than would normally be in a wrap. The blend of tomatoes cheese and dressing was good. Hubs said his dog was 'ok' but I think he was still hungry when finished. Service was friendly. Note there is a $2 up charge if you order grilled chicken vs fried, haven't seen that before and didn't notice that on the menu. Wouldn't have changed my mind as I can't eat fried right now, but just fyi. With two big iced teas total bill was $39 before tax. They appear to be a popular spot and the bbq looked really good. They do have quite a few TV's so would be a good spot for catch a game. read more

Okra was okra. The pulled chicken with really chewy. I ate it as I was hungry, the flavor was ok but the chewiness or funniness was a rap turn off. The collard greens were really good having a lot of flavor. The potatoes seemed whipped and fairly thin and the gravy was flavorful but seemed a little watery. We tried to order cobbler for dessert but they were out of both the peach and cherry cobblers. The restaurant has a lot of echos when people are talking. Overall, it was ok. read more

We left too early from our weekend trip to Flagstaff back down home in QC. None of our usual places were open so we settled on this from what I found on Yelp and our current travel time. The waitress was sweet and attentive and that's all I have good to say for this place. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with sauce on the side. It was unbelievably disgusting that I just had no appetite to even ask for anything else in exchange. There was this glossy film on the meat and I initially figured maybe grease or something and went to take a bite and the smell and taste was repulsive. If I could put money on it- this was very old meat that they went and reheated it before placing it on the bun!! Our fries were also cold on all of our plates. We won't be back and it explains the lack of patrons in the establishment on a Sunday during lunch time. read more

We have eaten here a few times and the food and service have been great, however the other night when we came in, it was not the same experience. It was a very busy Monday night but we sat in the restaurant part not the bar and the service (servers) were a complete joke! The gals that were there are very young and clueless. Our hostess told us to sit where we would like and we had a party of 5. We look around and there's only tables that sit 4 people. We then decided to steal a chair from another table but she should have been able to figure it that out from the start. The server(s) were terrible about checking back with us during our time there. We waited a while on refills for our drinks, extra sauces, ect. I ordered a Cesar salad and the chicken on it was so hot that it made all the lettuce wilted and warm. It was the worst CS I've ever eaten. Then I asked for another Cesar dressing and they brought me a ranch, I did not realize it until I dumped it on my salad. I ate it anyway! These gals need to be more assertive and efficient and maybe a taught a few simple things. We will give it another try, hoping to have better service next time. read more

In town for the Arizona Cup so we are staying in the Anthem area. My 18yo was about to starve so I opted for what looked like the most protein heavy place I could find and the Tennessee Grill did not disappoint. He had the Hang Over burger and said it was delicious and yes it hung over the bun. The Mac and cheese side also was approved. lol I had the Brisket blue and bacon salad which wasn't massive but did fill me up. We also split wings as Wednesday is wing night so we got half raspberry het and the other half spicey bbq. Both were good but the spicy bbq was the best flavor to us. Sorry no pix. Time change and travel all day kicked my butt so I forgot. Great place in a strip mall. Super friendly and attentive service and seemed to be a local favorite. Came back here and wanted to check out the pork ribs. Well maybe I should have stuck with the tri tip. Ribs way too done for me. Fall off the bone on steroids. The rub seemed good but the overlooking took away from that. The zinger saucewas great and made eating the ribs beareable .The fries were great as well as soup. Tasty and hot.
