Combo Plate, $11.75 prior to tax

Layla's Market or Layla Gyro's & Pizzeria is located in a strip mall, next door to Hatley Family Dentistry with plenty of parking. Found this on Yelp and decided to stop by here for dinner. We ended up making our order to go and got: Combo Plate, $11.75 prior to tax- This meal comes with gyro and chicken that is over a bed of turmeric rice and a side of salad and tzatziki sauce. Also a pita bread. My husband really liked his meal and thought everything was perfectly cooked. The portion size was pretty generous and so it made for another meal. I didn't try any of his food except for the tzatziki sauce, which I really liked and kind of wished I had a side of that. Basil Cream Pasta, $11.75 prior to tax- This meal came with linguini pasta cooked in a basil cream sauce with mushrooms, spinach and artichokes. It also came with a pita bread and a salad (about 2 times the size of the side salad of the other meal). I know ordering pasta at a Mediterranean restaurant may not be the norm, but I really wanted to have noodles for dinner because of my birthday (noodles symbolize long life/ longevity). Honestly this pasta dish was very good. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a slight bite still left to it and I liked the amount of salad that came with this meal. This also was quite a generous portion and made for another meal. -------------------------- (Total= $26.09 after tax) We made our order in person and wait time was not very long, which was maybe 15 minutes. But we did wait longer to make our order but it seemed that the restaurant was short staffed. Food was very good with excellent portion sizes. Price wise was pretty reasonable. I would definitely come back here again if I lived in the area.

Don't let the nondescript location fool you - this is legitimately some of the best Middle Eastern food I've had! Service and food are excellent and they serve some amazing falafel. We'll most definitely be back!

I had been to this restaurant twice in last 2 years when i traveled through Little Rock. The place has good fresh food and I highly recommend their meat plates with delicious rice and kebabs. We tried their appetizer platter with Baba Gounush, Hummus etc. The Baba Gounush was definitely standout. I was a big big fan of their stewed goat meat rice plate last time but it wasn't part of their menu now. I got lamb plate entree and loved the rice and veggies but not lamb. The lamb pieces were very small and not the kebabs I was expecting. It was almost minced and that wasn't fresh meat. I loved the hospitality and the ease of the place serving as an authentic Middle Eastern eatery.

I love Layla's. Period. They have awesome Greek and Mediterranean classics. We usually get a falafel platter or a veggie platter. Their hummus, babaganoush, tabbouleh, and falafel are very yummy. We love their gyro meat too, and their Mediterranean Burger has that gyro meat taste with hummus on top. Baklava is super pistachio-y which is perfect. Just a very solid overall place with kind workers and owners.

Sometimes can be a picky eater, but we fought over the last bites!

Layla's is and has been one of the most reliable Little Rock restaurants for years. I've been many times, but it's been a while I was last there before today. The people working there are incredibly friendly and hospitable. We got a calzone and a gyro pizza. They were incredible. The calzone was the fluffiest, cheesyest, mouth watering calzone I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, spices on top, came with marinara, and the best taziki sauce in the Rock. The pizza is a Mediterranean style smaller size, but packed with delicious gyro meat, spinach, and grilled onions. Slices that were soft enough to fold but had a tasty crispy crust to dip. Those 2 entrees plus to drinks came to 25 dollars, an excellent price. The strip mall employees are blessed to be flanked by Layla's and El Palenque.

The menu was a welcome diversion from the usual American menu items. Service was great. Not a fancy place.

Great veggie pizza and other Greek faves. I love the smell of the fresh food in the kitchen. Definitely a must for Gyros.

Main thing I would steer clear from STAY AWAY FROM THE DESSERTS THEY HAVE WRAPPED Those rice crispy treats are friggin' terrible. Don't do it. But the subs are KILLER if you're a big fan of weed & shrooms in the restaurant this is definitely a chill hang out spot. My mom and I got it to go. Thank you guys!

First thing I noticed was how…read moreclean the restaurant was, and I was greeted immediately by the cashier, which always sets a good tone. This was my first time visiting a Cheba Hut, and I have to admit, walking into a restaurant that is completely marijuana-themed is different, but honestly kind of fun. The vibe is unique, laid back, and memorable without feeling sketchy or over-the-top. The cashier was on the quieter side, but she was extremely polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful while ordering. Customer service overall was solid. Now for the food and pricing, this is where things get a little mixed. My total came out to $21.38 for an 8-inch sandwich, a drink, and a Goo Ball. At that price point, I expected something close to one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unfortunately, while the flavor delivered, the portion-to-price ratio absolutely did not. I tried the Goo Ball first: Krispies, peanut butter, cocoa, honey, butter, and marshmallows rolled into a ball. Honestly? This thing was $3.59 worth of disappointment. It was bland, underwhelming, and somehow managed to taste like almost nothing despite all those ingredients. Maybe this hits differently if you're stoned, but for me it just wasn't worth the money at all. 2/10 For the sandwich, I ordered the "5-0": Smoked ham, Genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, giardiniera peppers, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake, and house dressing. Food came out in about 9 minutes, which is pretty reasonable. Flavor-wise? The sandwich was actually really good. The meats and dressing worked well together, the bread was solid, and overall it tasted fresh and satisfying. I'd honestly give the flavor an 8/10. But the value? That's the problem. For a $12 sandwich, the portions felt skimpy: - 2 slices of pepperoni - 1 slice of bacon cut in half - 2 slices of salami - 1 slice of cheese - 1 tomato slice cut in half - maybe 1/8 of a pickle slice There was genuinely more lettuce than every other topping combined. It felt like a sandwich built to look full instead of actually being full. If this sandwich were priced around $8-9, I'd probably leave happy. But at $12+, I expected a much more generously stacked sub. Cheba Hut has a cool concept, clean restaurant, and tasty food, but the pricing versus portion size keeps this from being a place I'd regularly come back to. Great vibe, decent sandwich, disappointing value.

We walked in to a large employee meeting they were having at tables near the registers. This felt strange as only a couple people were actually working and there was a manager talking to the entire staff that this or that can get you fired. Finally someone who was actually working took our order as he darted back and forth from kitchen to register. It's obvious there is no employee lounge but there has to be a better way to conduct meetings and communicate within the staff. We were never given a number or anything so we waited at the registers for quite a while after ordering. We finally saw him bring food to another couple who had been waiting since we walked and figured out, oh we sit and they bring it out. It would not have been hard for the employee to let us know we could sit. There was nothing ultimate about the ultimate chicken sandwich. Didn't even come with tomato and they forgot the lettuce. It was dry and bland. I reached for a napkin and there were none to be found in the dispenser. (I just grabbed a dispenser from another table easy enough) My son's cheeseburger was fine according to him but we both agreed the fries were awful. Barely warm at the start of the meal and cold and stale by the end of it, the shoestring fries were as edible as an actual shoe. Nothing remarkable about the steamed broccoli no seasoning to be found but at least it was in fact, real steamed broccoli, even though it didn't come out until we were halfway through our dinner. 3/4 into the meal a manager named Jasmine came to ask how things were and pleaded for honesty. She was absolutely fantastic and provided top tier customer service as she listened to me and did everything she could to make it right, including treating my son and I to very tasty milkshakes. This woman deserves a raise, I could tell she was sincere and cares about customers and the food. The menu is so large and the prices are fair, I may come back to try it again, but ONLY because of the 5 star service I got from Jasmine.
