Now I'm a "no such thing as too spicy chai" kinda guy, but I also enjoy a unique house blend so I was on board. The chai was, indeed, herbal. Sweet, with a little spice and flowery notes. The friendly barista informed me they have a few choices: a powdered chai (hard pass) and two choices of chai concentrate- sweet or spicy. The concentrate brand was, "Sanctuary Chai" which I've never tried, and the blend was "Spicy Honey Chai" so I figured it'd have that honey-sweet tang and hopefully a good hit of spice. I was correct on the honey-sweetness, but the spice level was on the lower end of the spiciness scale. Maybe it needed to be shook before being mixed, the milk:chai ratio was off, or it's just not that spicy. All-in-all, a passable chai but not really memorable nor craveable.
