I don't submit a lot of reviews but Tin Lizzie has an average rating on here that is so far below what they deserve that I had to weigh in. I've been a customer of Lucinda's since I moved to Dallas in 1994. The first car I brought her that year was an '89 BMW Convertible with an interior that was filthy and shot. Instead of charging me for repair work, she suggested some cleaning products that I still buy from her to this day, they have been so effective. So rare to find someone that honest. About 3 years ago, she did a complete custom reupholster of my vintage Landcruiser. As expensive as it was given the Lexus OEM leather that I requested, it was worth every penny and is "SEMA Show" level work. Can't recommend Tin Lizzie enough. read more

They took out the interior of my car, realized they did not have any fabric that matched, charged me $400.00 and were rude like it was my fault. The only option I had was to order the part from Germany ( my $600.00 project is now $3200.00 project when I could have just left what I had) and I will have to wait 6 plus weeks for the part to come in. So driving around with no headliner in my car. I don't care that they could not do the work. I do care that they took apart the car, charged me $400.00 to realize that they could not do the work and left me hanging with a car with no interior headliner for a couple months. Upon asking around, there are better options out there. Ask the dealer. Ask your service department. The service department has referrals they will share that stand behind their work and take care of their customers. read more

They replaced the leather on my center arm rest with factory original leather from Lexus that they had in stock on site. They seem like good honest small business and they did a great job on the repair itself, so top marks. If I need more leather work done I'll definitely be calling them again. read more

I went to them with my 1995 Ferrari which had severely worn leather on the driver's seat. They were able to get the correct leather, in the correct color (something another place told me couldn't be done), and they did it all for less than two grand. That's the only repair I've gotten done on the Ferrari that cost so little, and yet it was one of the best repairs. Greatness. read more
