I've been a loyal returning customer for the past 10 years. I've brought in a total of 7 cars to get them tinted all around. And let me start by saying I've payed top of the line (expensive) tints. Not the basic films. They have always been really good at what they do which is why I always come back. However Everything was going well until one of my first cars started showing signs of window tint flaking and peeling off. So I just thought I'd bring it in and have it replaced since they offer "life time warranty". Unfortunately that was not the case. they keep saying their computer system isn't working and that I'm not in their system. It's been almost 10 years therefore I don't have the receipt for the original receipt. They said they could work with me and offer a 10% discount to tint it again. 10% isn't much. As a business owner myself, my customers are what makes everything work in my company. Last thing I'd like to do is not honor a warranty. Why lose a client of many years? As much as I love working with TTP I might have to find a new place to take my cars. read more

Made an appointment with Tint Pros and was asked for a $50 deposit. I wasn't expecting this but thought it was to hold my appointment as many restaurants do this as well. But, unlike restaurants that refund a deposit with reasonable cancellation notice, Tint Pros did not. When I called to cancel my appointment 2 days prior to the appointment I was told that my deposit was not refundable, which I didn't know. The girl on the phone informed me that she told me that the deposit was not refundable at the time I made the appointment. I responded that I did not remember being told that it was non-refundable because I never would have agreed to the deposit. I mentioned that since I was canceling two days ahead I felt I should be reimbursed and asked to speak to the manager. The girl put me on hold and then returned to tell me that she had spoken to the manager and the manager would not approve my refund because if they refunded my money then they would have to refund other customer's deposits. No other customer would know about any refund I may receive from Tint Pros because I don't know antheir customers. However, this review serves as a warning to potential customers. Not only did the manager not come to the phone to speak to me, but I also told the girl on the phone that I would be letting my mechanic know of the events since he referred me to Tint Pros and further stated that I would never do business with an immoral company when she tried to get me to rebook. She didn't have any care or concerns about me as a customer nor my feelings. As it turns out, I am grateful that I didn't have Tint Pros do the tinting in my car because my friend referred me to a company in Costa Mesa that was half of Tint Pro's price. read more

Tint Pros in HB is an Ahmazing place to take your vehicles to get your tinting done at. They are respectful, informative and very kind when your trying to make up your mind. I've had 3 vehicles done there in the past and once again took my new SUV in for tinting. They were gracious enough to give me a discount as a returning client even though they haven't implemented a program for that yet. I recommend this place without hesitation. Update: Business agreed to redo the tint job. Upon completion, they scratched driver and passenger windows with what looks like razorblade marks, as well as both quarter panel glass windows. What makes it worse... they left all this gunk and crap all over my paint that etched into the black because they left it in the sun. Came by to get info and an estimate. We had good experiences here in the past with 3 cars. This time, not so good. I went in and waited. No one came out. I heard people in back joking around. After waiting a bit, I left. Then I called. After multiple calls and no one answering, I got a call back. She tried to say she was in back talking to her technicians. Just purchased a 2019 BMW 740i and wanted to get the windows tinted. I scheduled an appointment online and got a call the next morning and was scheduled for service the following day. The service took some time which I wasn't too concerned it's a pretty big vehicle with large windows so it's understandable. Got the call that the car was ready for pick up later that da Really satisfied with the easy of scheduling a service, customer service and work. Legit they've re tinted my windshield and it's so bad where they don't know how to dry and properly install my tint legit so blurry and the bubbles are awful I legit reached out to the manger and it's been 2 weeks and she ignored me after I told her I'm on my 4th re do and all she said was I'm so sorry tint isn't perfect and I'll get back to you and she chose to ignore me and leave this matter alone. Please email or send a downloadable link to all footage from the time I arrived with my vehicle to the time I returned to pick up my vehicle. I need all footage; including all angles, both interior and exterior of the building where my vehicle is visible. I need to independently review all of this footage to make sure there is no video manipulation and to ensure I have adequate time to review everything as I know there is several hours worth of footage and I highly doubt anyone at Tint Pros is going to review every minute of every angle with me. In regards to fixing the tints; I shouldn't have to schedule another appointment considering I've already paid for the tints. I should have been able to take my vehicle back the following day (Wednesday) to have it fixed yet I was told to make an appointment and the alleged availability was for the following week (Monday). read more

Had chatted through yelp and arranged an appointment with her for today at 3pm and I have confirmed on yelp for the time as well. I know it will probably take sometime so I have arrived 2:35pm for them to do the prep work or get all the info. Then I have actually meet with (Lauren/owner), she told me that she has already book another appointment. What can I say, appointments was booked, even arrived early then the appointment was changed? I am disappointed with the product. Olivia was the one I communicated with on the phone but mainly email which was fine. I explained my window gave too much heat and the sun was bright. I understood UV protection would give us what we needed. We spent $500 and it's not much of a difference . Make sure you ask lots of questions and perhaps even have someone come out and look at the project before getting a quote. We wasted $500 and we are no better than when we started. read more

Had my 2020 Maserati Levante and my 2021 Dodge Ram tinted (all windows front windshield, & sunroofs) And the must already came out to perfecto but the Dodge Rams had mini bubbles in the front windshield (dozens) when I picked it up and they said oh it suicide dries out it'll all disappear... GUESS WHAT, they didn't disappear. Obviously quite the inconvenience for a busy executive to have to drop it off for another half a day which I did do and what really irked me on the redo is that the installers did not so-called clean the windshield on the inside so the same thing happened again so absolutely outrageous for tint pros which is an established Huntington Beach business and living in HB eight always try to support the local businesses and to date haven't had time to go back and get it done only because it's on the right passenger bottom of the windshield and I can't see it while driving so other more important issues at hand then going back for "Redo 3". Obviously unable to recommend them. read more

When coming to the tint pros I would recommend going to the newport beach location. Came to my local one and had bubbles on my tint. I came back in to get it fixed and they redid one of my windows. For the other ones they said it would not be perfect and could not do anything for me. They tried to "fix" the other ones by pressing it down but ended up scratching the tint inside. If I would have known it would've be like this, I would have not taken it here. read more

It still means that no matter how good your clients have been to you, when the going gets a little difficult you choose to walk away and take only easy money from your customers. At the end of the day it's definitely a moral and ethical practice that I didn't expect from this establishment. I don't expect you to change your position especially over confrontation. That's a bad business practice itself. But I do hope with some of the recent negative reviews that you guys have had combined with acknowledging my experience is accurate, that some people may reconsider and take their business elsewhere. Obviously not everybody is willing to spend $1200 to tint four windows and maybe they could save money while still getting the same product or an equivalent product from a better or more committed service provider to their respective community. read more

Based on my first review I was privately messaged shortly after. The message had stated the receptionist lady that I was speaking with, was actually in fact the manager. She had apologized for the mishap of the truck door being installed incorrectly. I appreciated the apology, but it didn't feel same because a manager should have handled this type of situation. At that time, I didn't know she was the manager because she DID NOT introduce herself or let me know WHO she was. I was also told in the message that the "receptionist lady" was VERY OFFENDED because I had refer to to her as a receptionist instead of the manager. Right, because I'm suppose to automatically know who you are without a proper introduction, name badge, or even a name plate on the desk. About 9-10 months later my boyfriend's tint is already starting to peel off on the corners. He decided to dropped of his truck and use the 1 year warranty. We had all the original paperwork and were not charged anything. They did not replace the tint at all. Instead they tried to glue down areas that was peeling off!! Awful workmanship (see pictures)!! Then he called again to make another appointment to fix this problem because you can see glue marks everywhere. The second drop-off was just them trimming the tint around the black dots so the tint can adhere to the windshield. Now the 1 year warranty is over and some of the corners still bubbles. Basically, nothing was done. Also, the same "receptionist lady/manager" was there. My friend had drove me to pick up my boyfriend's truck after it was fixed. My friend asked the "receptionist lady/manager" what her position was at The Tint Pros. Her was response "I work the front desk". So either she got demoted or someone was being dishonest from the very beginning. I didn't NEED an apology from a manager, I just thought the situation could have been handled better. But instead they lied and said she was a manager to make me feel better...? Very expensive tint that doesn't even hold up to an entire year. 1 year warranty wasn't even worth it. Wasted my time dropping off twice!! Sorry, I would not come back. read more

My wife and I have been bringing every new car that we purchased to "Tint Pros" on gothard in H.B. for nearly 30 years and have always had good results and that is exactly why we recommended them to our Son once he had finally saved up enough to purchase his very first new car, on his own. And so when his tint started to delaminate less than two months after it was installed, you can imagine our dismay. Solid service and no complaints from me. I used Tint Pros once for a full tint (all windows + windshield) on my S5 Sportback, in addition to some wrap on the roof. The windows came out great and the roof wrap is as I expected, even though I know wrapping those sharkfin antennas (and was warned about this when I called for an estimate) can require multiple pieces.
