If you are a drinker; you should definitely check out The Tipsy Robot! It's located inside the Miracle Mile Shops in Vegas and it's a really cool experience! First you need to place your order and pay at a kiosk. (There was a human who offered to help us through the process.) The robots can literally make hundreds of different drinks! Yes, they are rather pricy; ($17-22 range,) but how often can you have a robot make your drink and serve you?! There were 4 in our group. With so many drinks available, it was really hard to make a selection! I finally decided on a Dark and Stormy, and my husband chose an Irish mule. The Dark and Stormy made by a robot was absolutely the best I've ever had! Drinks were made quickly and there's a screen with a drink queue so you know when your drink is actually being made. There were games to play at some of the tables, (tic-tac-toe, Jenga, mini corn hole, etc.). There was also a regular bar with a bartender available. The Tipsy Robot is definitely an iconic Vegas experience not to be missed! read more

There was one human working behind the bar, so we avoided the drunken robot. Interesting concept, but not for the price to watch a robotic arm (not even the whole robot) mix a drink. Bloody Mary was my drink of choice. Spicy. It was good, but I've had better. Seating for groups is limited, so we used the beer-pong table and brought over some chairs. I'm so shocked this isn't prevalent everywhere. We were staying at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. So we stumbled on The Tipsy Robot in the mall connected to the Casino. At first I was like "what the heck?!?" but then again it looked cool as hell. First, you go up to a touch screen and go through all the drink options, then pick one, pay, add your name and the robots make your drink!!! I chose the "Darth Vader" because reasons. It's a vodka and amaretto cocktail. But honestly there are so many options. It was so cool to watch the robots make the drinks. They even shake the drinks. Just epic. Now look, I'm not advocating to put bartenders out of business. And I'll add that actual people are on staff. But I want to see these at more venues in the Indianapolis area. read more

It's a novelty. An expensive novelty that is a daily reminder that YOU WILL BE REPLACED! A.I. & the rest of the deceptions are a small time jump away from running the world. And yes, they too required a tip - disguised as a 10% "service charge". The drink itself - perfectly balanced ‍. A lil too balanced if you ask me. I like my drinks strong. I like knowing, if I slip the bartender a lil something, the bartender slips me a lil something. But, that's all going away... and all we're left with is expensive, soul-less, perfectly balanced drinks. read more

Welcome to the future at The Tipsy Robot, where robotic arms make your drink for you. Don't want a robotic arm serving you a drink? They also have a human bartender on site, where they have daily drink specials available. We went here after the Halestorm/I Prevail concert at PH Live, which we treated as our little concert afterparty. This Tipsy Robot can be found inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, across from Cabo Wabo Cantina and before you reach the exit out onto The Strip. Very easy and very convenient to find. You simply place your order on one of the tablets provided and the robotic arms in front of you make your drink. I ordered a Tequila Sunrise cocktail and my boyfriend ordered a rum and coke mixed drink, which ended up being his fourth rum and coke of the night. We ran into some trouble when we went to pay for our drinks (it wouldn't take my card and it kept telling me that the transaction was declined), so we flagged down an employee for assistance. She told us that their payment system does work but can run slow occasionally. When we found a table to sit at, the lady who helped up with our payment offered us lemon rum shots on the house. It was like drinking a liquid lemon drop, I'm not gonna lie here. I'm not used to taking shots when I go out to bars because they're really strong, but this is a shot that I thoroughly enjoyed. I also enjoyed my Tequila Sunrise, which is a cocktail that I've never tried before. It was like a sunrise kind of feeling in my mouth. My boyfriend liked his rum and coke but he had to stop drinking after this one because he was feeling a bit woozy! Don't worry, we took a rideshare here. The Tipsy Robot was a great futuristic experience. We might come back here again next time we visit Planet Hollywood. read more
