The reservationist gave incorrect information and was rude when I tried to clarify. I called for an appointment and it turned out that they didn't offer the test I needed, which is fine. But then she tried to refer me to a clinic that I had just called and that also didn't offer the test I needed. No matter how much I tried to explain that, she would cut me off and tell me to listen to her and that I was wrong. That bad first impression ensures that will never use them. read more

Usually pretty fast and friendly enough but don't go for prenatal ultrasounds. They don't offer pictures unless you want to buy a usb key of burnt cd. Picture print outs are offered and free at any other place I've heard of or been to. read more

The owner/radiologist who did my biopsy was rough and he was extremely rude. He did not answer questions and provided no info on the painful biopsy so it got infected. Extremely worrisome outcome. read more

Went there for my annual breast ultrasound. I also had my mammogram. One usually get dressed after the routine screening but out of nowhere a male doctor came into the mammogram room without introducing himself. I later found out that he is the radiologist at the premises. He asked that I get a biopsy done and that I should come back within that *same week*. When asked whether he found something suspicious, his answer was very ambiguous. He simply said if that's my wife I would get it done...I did not say it is cancer" It sounded very alarming that I needed a biopsy on an urgent basis. I then went to my GP to get her referral to Sunnybrook Hospital (Rapid Diagnostic Unit). Their radiologist told me right away that it was calcification and that it is benign and that no biopsy is required. According to cancer.ca, "Doctors can easily identify macrocalcifications on a mammography and usually don't need to do a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis." Apparently this radiologist at the Toronto Centre for medical imaging failed to do the same. NEVER going back to that place. This has caused unnecessary stress to me and my loved ones!! read more

Booked an appointment for a quick ultrasound as they discourage walk-in patients due to the wait time. No problem with that as they at least acknowledged the fact there would be a wait. After quickly moving from the first waiting area to the secondary waiting area in my medical gown, I was left sitting there, I acknowledged for ... The purpose of scheduling an appointment was to avoid the wait, yet I watched several people come and go with not one person glancing in my direction or acknowledging me. Once in the appointment, the technician was friendly and thorough, finishing up my appointment in ten minutes. She even brought the doctor in when she had questions about what she was seeing. Although the clinic is very clean and they offer a great deal of services, the front desk staff was loud and slow and the overall speed and customer service here is very questionable. I would never recommend this location as the place to go. However, the people I saw coming and going would likely have a different opinion, as they all came and went quickly, watching me collect dust like a piece of furniture. read more

I did a mammogram here and was told I need to do further testing and a biopsy. I trusted the location as I went there before to do X-rays and ultrasounds and found the serve acceptable. The technicians doing the mammogram were supportive. However, for the biopsy, which I regret not doing at the hospital now, the owner (doctor preforming the biopsy) was dismissive, rude and did not answer my questions. In this position where I was already stressed and worried he made unacceptable remarks loudly infront of the two other technicians and upset me. I left feeling sad and more anxious about any instructions for the biopsy site. When I called a few times the front desk and supervisors were abrupt. I really do not think I can recommend here as I had to end up going to urgent care to check the biopsy site. I am very upset over this experience as we are patients - the doctor and owner is getting money from us and the government and it is not a fee service and without us they would not be paid. This is a vulnerable and stressful procedure to be done and I would expect more compassion instead of a doctor telling me I'm stressing him out when I felt pain as he was doing the procedure and the form says to let the doctor know if there is pain. If I could give 0 starts, I would. Absolutely horrible service on the part of the ultrasound tech. I was likely in the middle of a miscarriage and she did not communicate with me at all, and lacked every ounce of bedside manner. This profession has the opportunity to truly show therapeutic care towards their patients, even in the slightest calming comment. During my transvaginal scan, the student kept walking In and out of the room to the hallway and there was no curtain to protect me. My next step is calling the manager of this clinic is ensure that this does not happen to anyone else. read more

I was incredibly disappointed in the service and the reviews are correct. I went for a pelvic ultrasound and in doing so they apply ultrasound gel to the affected area. I moved my hand to adjust my shirt and got some of the gel on my hand. The ultrasound technician proceeded to get mad at me for doing and almost yelled at me. As a medical student, ultrasound gel is non-toxic and easily washable and there is no need for this kind of response especially towards a patient. As a future healthcare professional myself, I would never make another feel this way so much so that I felt uncomfortable performing a transvaginal ultrasound with the tech and I refused. Such a shame, do not go to this lab. read more

Went in for an ultrasound since the place is (conveniently) located downtown. They made me wait for quite awhile, despite making an appointment. I finally got into the room with ultrasound specialist "Olena" -- she was rude and abrupt. The one answer to any question posed during the process amounted to... "I'm not a doctor". All of this isn't the worst part. The icing on the cake: the results got to my doctor only after a WHOLE MONTH went by. Totally unacceptable. For your health's sake, avoid this place. If you are thinking of getting your obstetric ultrasounds done here, be prepared for a miserable experience, especially if you get Olena as your technician. She was rude and condescending. After I confirmed that I had eaten breakfast before my ultrasound (which nobody at the clinic instructed me to do, it was a coincidence), she got angry with me for being unprepared for my ultrasound, as the baby was now sleeping and I had to return later in the day. As if I can control when my baby sleeps. At that point in my pregnancy, I had so many appointments and returning later in the day was such a waste of my time. She was clearly frustrated throughout the whole appointment. Such an unpleasant experience. read more

DO NOT GET AN ULTRASOUND HERE. I went here for a hip ultrasound. They sent the results to my sports medicine doctor who was surprised. The clinic only reported mild-to-moderate swelling in my hip, but I was experiencing serious chronic pain in the area. My doctor asked me to re-do the imaging at Bluewater Imaging (150 Eglinton location). The tech was much, much more thorough and the results showed that I had a large muscle tear and severe deep tissue swelling. Full disclosure -- the 2nd ultrasound hurt. The tech who did it was incredibly polite & let me know as he was spotting areas of concern that to get a PROPER image of deep tissue injury he'd have to put pressure on the ultrasound wand. Totally worth it because now we know what's wrong & exactly how to fix it. If my sports medicine doctor hadn't (gently) pushed me to get another ultrasound my injury would have gone undiagnosed. read more

worst experience I've ever had in trying to book an appointment! I have never seen such unprofessional and bad system in making an appointment. First of all, there is no email address or website section to book one, you have to call. Second, when you call they imidiately ask for your phone number and name and say they will call you back. When they didn't, I called 5 hours later, they said we have started calling people back now, took my phone number again, I got a promise from them to call me back to book an appointment. You can guess what happened there. No call!! What kind of system is this, have a proper system to book the appointment. I can only imagine what the actual appointment would look like. First time pregnant, I was very happy and excited. At our first ultrasound the technician couldn't find a fetal pole or heartbeat. Obviously this news was very upsetting for me and unexpected. The technician was very short and very cold telling me. I asked to bring in my partner from the waiting room to share in this news and she dismissed me with a "no, there's nothing to see". This was my first time and the news was heart breaking. I understand that the technician has seen many ultrasounds with outcomes like mine, but please have compassion and empathy. Bedside manner counts. Telling my partner through tears in the waiting room in front of other patients made this day and experience one of the worst I have every had. read more

After scheduling a groin for hernia ultrasound over the phone I was scheduled for the following day at 11:40am and told to drink water prior to the appointment. I arrive 5 minutes after the appointment time due to a streetcar delay-I did call in to let them know and the receptionist told me as long as it wasn't over 10 minutes I could still see the technician. When I checked in and gave my form in the receptionist practically scolded me for being late in front of the whole reception area. I apologized,explained why I was late and that I had called in. I was told to sit down and wait. A few minutes later I was called up and told I had scheduled a pelvic ultrasound-which I did not-and that I would need to make another appointment for the ultrasound I needed because the technician was busy. I was really annoyed because they never apologized for the mistake on their end however I accepted the appointment later in the day since I had already booked the day off of work. The appointment was booked for 3 hours after the original appointment. When I arrived for the second appointment the receptionist asked if I had been fasting for 8 hours-I had not since I had never been told that I had to and they should have known this since they scheduled the appointment 3 hours ago. I was told that I would need to make yet another appointment and still no apology for essentially wasting an entire day. I did not book another appointment at this location instead contacting my regular location at the Albany Clinic-they were sympathetic and happy to schedule an appointment for me the following day after work. read more

The women answering their phones is super rude and incompetent. She asked if she could call me back, I said sure, she never did. I phoned back and she asked if she could call me back again. As if I would ever hear back fro her. For the rest of the call she was extremely rude still and difficult to understand. I don't understand the other reviews here giving one star. I have been going to this place for many years - most recently, today - and I have never had a bad experience. They have always been friendly to me, and very efficient. The office is clean and comfortable. A few years ago, I had a mammogram, pelvic ultrasound, and hip x-ray in the same afternoon, over the lunch hour, and I was in and out in well under an hour. Where else can you book three procedures on the same day, let alone get them done in under an hour? read more

By far the best clinic I've been to... the staffs worked really well together, very efficient and friendly from the receptionist to technicians.. explained everything that I needed to know before the procedure, place is really great! clean and nice...didnt have to wait long which is a plus!!! they value their patient's time and made sure everything is being taken care of...I would strongly recommend this clinic! thumbs up! read more
