And that is the way they deal with their customers . apartment complex if you're late so I suggest you make sure you're not late day two days three days or you're out of there. And they take you to court. to me that is no class and upper management needs to take classes again on how to respect the people that they rent the apartments to.

Any packages I received, would be held until I was able to pick them up, the water bill wasn't high, the rent was excellent considering we rented a washer and dryer from them. Any maintenance requests we had were taken care of promptly. Parking was fine besides the occasional neighbor that would park in my carport spot (not managements fault). They do have thin walls, a roach problem and some rust that comes through the water pipes. Overall not that bad. The location is awesome.

I have met with Miguel, the maintenance manager along with the property manager, Teresa one time when I first moved in. They agreed on doing the maintenance that needed to be done at that time. I am still waiting for those first move in inventory maintenance issues to be fixed. I have tried to get my bathtub fixed along with my sink in the bathroom, but Miguel keeps wanting to meet with me, but he never shows up. The bathtub that was supposed to be resurfaced, according to them. When they came in to resurface, they told me that the tub was unstable and needed to be fixed underneath the tub. They need to actually replace the tub and then put a new tub in. but they are too cheap. The bathroom sink has rust coming out of the holes because they did a horrible job of resurfacing it! It kind of reminds me of brushing my teeth in a rundown gross bathroom/rest stop that you see in the movies! I vomit every time I have to look at it! So if live next to NASA in the is your place to live! I would advise not!

This is in building 5. Living in an apartment is very common to have roaches or any kind of bug but when they live in the cracks and holes in the kitchen, it should really be let known before you move in. Cockroaches have been reported to spread at least 33 kinds of bacteria, six kinds of parasitic worms and at least seven other kinds of human pathogens.

My work orders were routinely marked as completed, yet nothing was ever actually fixed. When I brought this up to the assistant manager, Patsy, she always acted surprised, as if she had no idea why the requests were closed without being addressed. At one point, I had multiple leaks in my living room ceiling. It took them three weeks just to patch the holes in the roof. Meanwhile, mold began to grow in several spots on the ceiling. I'm not claiming it was black mold, but it was definitely mold. I submitted several work orders about it, and each time Patsy and whoever was handling maintenance at the time would promise to bring in a contractor--but that never happened. I ended up living with that mold for over a year. And that's not even mentioning the roach infestation and the rats. Ask the other residents. They don't speak out for fear of eviction or non-renewal. They cannot find anything else affordable. Most residents stay silent because they simply can't afford to move anywhere else. It's heartbreaking. Shame on the management company and the owners for allowing people to live in such conditions--and for being dishonest about move-out costs. Shame on the owners and management company for making people live like that.

They will "clean" the carpet but it's so worn down they need to be changed. The AC system is so old and outdated they aren't clean at all and will drip into other apartments. They have this smell to them and have some kind of goop coming from the bottom of where the vent is,it's absolutely disgusting. They will put a deodorizer to mask the smell but not fix the problem so you will have to repeat the process. They just paint over and water damage or mold spots so you wouldn't know until your health changes. They are infested with roaches, silverfish and earwigs. It doesn't matter how much you clean. The safety risk is that there is no type of police on the premises. There have been many occasions of police entering for other reasons such as there have been 2 gun incidents none which were reported to us residents at the time. There has been a car chase in the complex as well. Also people going through your car and taking your belongings if you do not lock it at night. This is supposed to be a "gated community " and Luxury Far from it. People having arguments and fights all hours of the night in the parking lot and let's not forget no parking. People who have garages, do not park their car inside they will keep multiple cars in the parking spaces. People walk dogs without leashes scary for people who have small children. The garbage is over flowing and it takes a while for it to be cleaned up. If you know you have that much garbage it probably would be a good idea to get extra dumpster! This brings families of raccoons at night and possums while trying to throw out your trash and trying not to get rabies. The construction that has gone on for the past 2 years is horrific they will plug their power tools into your patio and your light inside your apartment will flicker great if you're working from home like I was. Your electric bill with extra and according to the office it does not go to your bill but it sure does. It has been done to multiple resident and we all saw an increase in our bill.

Anything I needed, asked for, questioned - they were on top of it, and they were so polite. If I had a maintenance problem, Eric and the maintenance team were ON IT. LOVE the onsite staff. They've always been so gracious. If this were still a Finger Companies property - 5/5. HOWEVER - Greystar? No. just no. Lack of response in emails. They upped my rent, but they were charging new residents in updated apartments about $300 less than I was paying... When I asked to match my rent to theirs or at least come down on mine, they offered to lower mine by $20. (Laughable). I keep getting emails regarding my deposit stating things were broken inside my apartment... I have emails from on-site staff showing nothing was broken, but Greystar corporate is saying it is broken... It's craziness. They added in rules for when they're allowed to pick up trash, when they're allowed to assist residents getting into their apartments even though someone is on site 24/7, and now - you can no longer have an accent wall... It's just silly rules that make the rent seem like a LOT...

Adding information on the chiller boiler system. Save yourself headache. Don't move here…read more Per the office: There's either a chiller or a boiler. It can't be both. Office persons suggests: If the chillers are running cool. And your turn thermostat off and fan can be on auto. Chiller goes on cool above 50F temperature outside. The temperature outside needs to be lower 50, the chiller will start to convert to boiler with in 4-6 hours. BUT if the temperature rises above 50F it goes back to Chiller system. It's either chiller or boiler. It's not like an air conditioner that condenses. I will not get heat unless the boilers are on. It doesn't matter that at 5:22pm I arrived home to find the inside apartment to be at 53F degrees. I turned the system off. I slept with 4 blankets, 1 quilt bedspread, winter clothes, I woke up to 60F inside and freezing. Their suggestion: buy a space heater. I pay for utilities, utilities include a/c, heat, water, electricity.
