This past winter I decided to replace my old pellet stove in my fireplace with a new propane fireplace insert. I wanted an insert for the mammoth firplace I built in my house 35 years ago & I went to the Trading Post just to look. I met Dave & Paul, salesman & owner I believe. They were very knowledgeable, friendly & knew their products. No pressure to buy anything whatsoever. Being a mason does not mean you are schooled in the ways of woodstoves, especially adapting them to existing masonry fireplaces. The Trading post advised me on what my options were as far as wood burning inserts. We had gone to both stores since the Newtown store didn't have the insert we were interested in and both Dave's were very helpful. Delivery and installation was great and it looked great. Issues arose soon after but the people at the trading post stood by to rectify the issues. When that proved unfruitful after numerous attempts and the manufacturer gave up all help of standing by what appeared to be a Lemon, the Trading Post replaced the stove at their personal cost.
