This is the One Stop Shop first let me start by saying this particular location is the best Twilight Zone I've ever been to. The owner is incredibly helpful and totally fair when it comes to his prices, if he doesn't have something that I need nine times out of ten he'll order it for me. In addition to it being a One-Stop shop all of his employees are extremely knowledgeable of the products that they carry, but also have an extremely warm and friendly attitude while maintaining an attentive level of professionalism. I've been going there for almost 11 years so it feels like home when I enter the store. In addition to incredible customer service they have followed every protocol when it comes to COVID and it's a big enough store that the layout is super comfortable never feels stuffy or like the line is long enough to make you wait. I have to say Chad and Richard the employees that helped me yesterday we're particularly helpful and had an extreme amount of patience because I was determined to find this one piece for my E-Nail and I was determined to making what I had at home work, we must have looked at tons of different fittings, all sizes & all possibilities and in the end I was able to mix and match what I had at home already with what I bought and make it work. When you are living in San Mateo County I'd say you are pretty lucky to have a smoke shop close to home specially if the idea of driving down to Haight Street does not sound like fun! I yelped smoke shops in San Bruno, and lukcy me, Twilight Zone came up.. I wanted to purchase a pretty long stemmed cigarette holder for my costume... because PLASTIC FAKE ones were out of the question!!! I was lucky enough to come on a day where they received some new ones from Turkey.. very pretty ones too.. but I wanted a Long handled one.. and mine is pretty and studded with little jewels.. I always have a good time coming in here and looking around at the large selection of pipes/bongs/grinders etc etc. I haven't had a problem with the staff they always seem friendly and let me know when to ask for help they have a wide variety of different color and size pipes and bongs, I gave it 3 stars because some things are a bit overpriced I have seen pipes in here that go for $25 that would easily go for $15 in SF, but if you get lucky like the few times I have you will catch things on clearance. Also I heard a customer come in with a problem to his pipe and the owner confirmed for all the world to hear that they bring in their glass from CHINA?! That's a big NO if the glass isn't American made DO NOT BUY ! I bought a pipe in Hayward that I dropped twice the first time it didn't break at all and the second time I got a tiny chip in it but that's all, I bought a pipe from here and keep in mind most glass here is very thin not that durable and the pipe broke , I also got a Bong and that broke as well if the glass would have been thick quality glass then I doubt I would have had that problem. If your going to buy from here stick to the wood or metal pipes because the glass just isn't cutting it. and I don't know what it is with smoke shops and porn but I guess getting high and jerking it go hand in hand, haha get it? yea anyways just don't be one of those dumbass kids who act surprised when they ask for i.d because you do have to be 18 to go in the back. read more

I been here a few times and I was in need of a skillet as I lose a piece of mine. I ended up buying an extra just in case but I didn't expect to be charged $21 for a single coil skilled and the top piece for another. Usually can get them for $8-10. Spent about 20-30 minutes waiting as he decided to help other customers first even though I was there before them. I felt ripped off because he said one piece was $10. I thought he'd at least show some courtesy as I did to him as I patiently waited. I'd rather take my business elsewhere in the future. Plus they sell overpriced products. Who the fuck would buy the pax era on "sale" for $75?! It is halal $60 and on promo everywhere for $20. When I first moved to the peninsula side, Twilight Zone was the only smoke shop i would go to. But after feeling out the area and getting to know myself around the area, trips to SF are often an much more rewarding. Twilight Zone is a great place for local peninsula folk to go to if you don't like to head into the city to go to Haight. Has almost everything from local glass blowers, even has gas masks 5 footers etc. Great back area but you need to be 18 to enter. Very big sale floor which on one side includes t shirts, posters, ashtrays etc. On the other side is where you will find grinders, dug outs, ash catchers, bubblers, pipes, volcanos, digital scales etc. Like I said this place is a great stop with a wide variety of selection if you live by San Bruno/SFO. Downside, The best they could do is 25$ for a down stem... I can get a better blown down stem for $15 in the city, but for the convenience of such a great selection you pay for it. The do not sell RooRs, Toros, Lux's or Illadelphia but they do have a pretty good selection of custom glass. Phx's, AMG to name a few. Great local shop for the people that don't have to time to head into the city. Definitely a most to checkout if you live by the area, and need to get that replacement piece. They let you bring it in, but you must conceal it and clean it so it doesn't stink up their shop. But that is easy to do, since they sell 420 cleaner at the counter. Patron in front is very disrespectful. We walk in looking to buy some torch materials, ect. Man in front is on telephone and cannot take care of the customer (us) in front of him and makes us wait to buy the stupid crap. Waited about 7-10 minutes before the bastard rudely and hurriedly asked us for our IDs as if we were going to check the stuff out in the back (as if their selection is anything to salivate about). We simply state we just want to buy a few things from the front end. From there he was OK until he was slow at counting our change. It's a damned business and you're a cashier, come on now. Bad treatment of customers. Cheap glass in the back, but not cheap in PRICE. By the way YES twilight zone accepts debit/credit but ONLY with a $10.00 purchase.
