I also cannot tell you why a store like this, time and time again, has such unfriendly, too-cool-for-school employees who - if you weren't looking right at them - you'd think they were reading a teleprompter in the most uninterested, monotone voice they can muster.. but I assume (though I've been told not to assume anything) that it's because they're actually high school students who couldn't give two sh!ts. (I have worked in a place like this.) Turns out, all was not lost today as I found a borderline-terrible hat (you know when something is so ugly it's cute? Fortunately, I can ALWAYS find great deals for quality business casual and professional clothes at the Ann Taylor Factory Store at the North Georgia Premium Outlets! The Ann Taylor Factory Store is usually my first stop when I make my 45-minute drive to the Outlets. It's a fairly large store, which is always always nicely organized. As soon as I walk in, I head straight to the right side of the back of the store because that's where their clearance section is located. The clothes on clearance are organized by size and type - business casual is in one section and then there are more casual tops in a separate rack. There are also plenty of pants on clearance. I don't come here often, but the past three times I have visited, they would have additional discounts on top of the clearance prices! The last time I went on a Saturday afternoon, they informed me that there was an additional 40% off all purchases that day, and they handed me a small flyer with the prices of many of their items and how much they would cost with the additional discount. I thought that this was so helpful! As I was shopping and was holding numerous hangers of clothing, a friendly sales associate approached me and asked if she could get a fitting room started for me. I said sure, and she asked for my name, took the clothes I wanted to try, and saved a fitting room for me. Unlike some retail stores, they don't count the number of items you are trying or have a limit on how many items you can take in the fitting room. When I was ready to try the clothes on, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the associate had written my name on a white board on my fitting room door and had neatly hung the clothing inside. The associate smiled and told me that I should let her know if I needed assistance with anything. She was very sweet and I appreciated her excellent customer service! Overall, the Ann Taylor Factory Store gets 5 stars for their awesome deals for quality women's professional clothing, clean and organized environment, and friendly employees. I have never walked out of this store without buying anything because their petite-sized clothes (yay for the Petites section!) fit me so nicely and are affordable for the quality. But…read moreyesterday, the clearance racks were so disorganized, with all sizes mixed together, including petites, and all types of garments mixed in, that I couldn't even get excited to spend my money. And if you'd wanted another size from the fitting room, the sales staff had a difficult time finding it due to the disorganization. But there were several associates pacing the floor, mentioning the deals, handing out mesh bags to put your considerations in (even though that would get them all wrinkly...). To me, this is the opposite of customer service. They're working so hard to address you by your name and be your personal shopper that it comes across and insincere and desperate. Also, maybe it's just me, since I haven't done serious shopping in a while, but it seemed that many staples, such as button downs and tees were way overpriced, such that it was only the "early Labor Day sale" that made them reasonable. So that made me wonder if any of it was really a deal. If the employees would put half as much effort into organizing the merchandise as they did into upselling in the "wardrobing" area, I probably would have purchased much more than one pair of pants on clearance. He professionally and personally navigated the sale and was exceptionally helpful to us. All of this took place at the end of the day and after we observed him handling a very complex transaction ahead of us. Daniel would have had every 'right' to brush us off, but treated us kindly with his best foot forward.

When I drove 1 hour to see the "in stock" item, mysteriously, it wasn't there And they weren't sure if they actually had it in a warehouse or not. They took my phone number and promised to call me once they were able to search their offsite warehouse for the cabinet, No call... but I see they remove about 20 cabinets from their online website In the last two days.
