Sat Dec 27 I dropped off box at Dimond UPS Store. I'm called back 1-2 hrs later. I was told the driver wouldn't take it because wt on label didn't match the actual weight. The front desk employee was professional. Came back and got it. Emailed and called the intended receiving company and explained my experience. They replied that UPS should have taken it. The intended receiver never experienced refusal before. The receiving company deals with UPS all over the country. Wed Dec 30 try dropping it off again. The front desk employee said driver won't take it. I ask to speak w driver. Driver came out front. I explained situation. No one knows wt until it's weighed at delivery. He didn't care. I asked his name Didn't want to give it to me. I asked for his supervisors name and #. He refused. I asked if he only drives for this shop. He said yes. I took box back to bring it to another UPS Fri as it's approaching closing time. Not enough time to get to other shop. Friday Jan 2, evening, I drop off box at Huffman UPS. No problem. I asked for contact info for filing complaint. Left name, Ph # and email w front desk employee. Never heard from anyone. I would think the owner/manager would care about their employees not preforming their job. Apparently not. Not a good business model. read more

This isn't a complaint about the store. My complaint is about the heavy set (really didn't want to use this description but I do not know his name) manager at this location. Every time I've come in he is rude, disregards your presence and doesn't even look at you or say hi. I'm a very cheerful person, so I always greet everyone and the times I've walked in and even greeted said manager, my mood completely changes as he is a negative energy. I feel it may be because of my ethnic background, because he greets everyone else who is Caucasian and sounds happy. If you don't like customers of all races then why work at a place that deals with diversity? If you don't like your job then why not work somewhere else? Never have I dealt with this kind of "manager." I stopped going to this location, because I don't have time to be greeted with negative energy. I usually hit this place up when returning packages through online ordering. Even though it's a UPS Store it's got a USPS drop as they have PO Boxes that you can rent out. It's pretty fast and convenient being across the way from Costco on Dimond that I pretty much hit 2-3X a week anyway it seems shopping for food so on my runs to Costco if I have a return, I box it up and they accept and give me a tracking receipt! Open on Saturdays too, where UPS is not. read more

I would write this review on the main location by the airport but they're not listed. I requested a package pickup for a return item. I was told I didn't need ANYTHING for the return, just leave the package outside, with pickup for next business day. They didn't show up next business day. The package sat on my porch for three days before they showed up. They didn't take it. I watched on my cameras as the person walked up my driveway with a return label and instructions to take it to take it to the store in his hand, he set it ON THE PACKAGE he should've been picking up!, and then he left. Zero attempts to check if that was the package, didn't knock or ring the doorbell to ask anyone about it, he had the label and instructions to deal with it myself ready to go the second he pulled up and I can hear him on the camera scanning it and see him doing something on his handheld so I assume he was marking it as a failed pickup attempt on his way to the door. Absolutely lazy. My car broke down, I have no way to take it to a UPS location, that's why I requested a pickup. Unfortunately I guess they can't be bothered to do their jobs. read more

Kind of have to go to UPS for any Amazon returns. This is one of the smaller UPS stores I've used in the Anchorage area. The location is pretty crappy - it is in a strip mall where the sign on the top outside does not match the door under it. My first impression was that the UPS store was closed at 1pm on a Friday, but it was the store next to UPS, just their entrance is under this UPS sign. Confusing. Friendly service, it is super small so even a one person line seems long and tight. Although this location is closer, I have been going to the one off of C and 40th instead. read more

Just when I thought UPS couldn't get more inept at doing their job, they prove me wrong. I found out today while checking my mail that whoever tried to deliver my package on Monday just left the notice on the outside of my apartment building. They usually leave the notice on my actual apartment door. I didn't see the notice until today because it was next to a building entrance I don't typically use. What if someone had taken the notice before I saw it and my package was returned to the sender? What the hell, UPS? So I went to pick up my package shortly before closing. There was one employee there. I gave her my ID and told her I had a package to pick up. She asked when I missed it (haven't been asked that before) so I said Monday and mentioned what had happened. She clearly didn't care as she went to get my package and interrupted me to ask for my signature. Look, I get it, you want to go home, but would it kill you to at least pretend to listen? Going to try to avoid ordering from sites that ship via UPS in the future if I can help it. read more

I tried to get my passport picture taken and the first time I went in, they couldn't do it because they hadn't bothered to charge the camera. The second time I went in Brittany (manager) refused me the service because people were in line behind me. When things go right, then yeh..they're fine. But when there's a hiccup, the front desk does very minimal to solve the problem. I ordered from Amazon to have shipped to UPS store. I get confirmation that it was delivered at 10:35am may 1st so I go at 6pm to pick up. I tell them my name and they tell me to come back tomorrow because they can't find it in their system. I come back the next day and the front desk guy doesn't even check the computer, just sees me and says they don't have it. Didn't ask for tracking number Or my name or address. He says to call Amazon or the Carrier and see where it is. Irritated I look to see who the carrier is...SURPRISE SURPRISE ITS UPS....the same store I am right now. I show that to him and he says, huh, and still tells me to call the 1800 number. I call UPS and they tell me it's there and it's the right address. I asked them what the name is on the label, it happens to be my husband's name.... so I go back to UPS, same guy, I tell him to look under my husband's name...he walks over to the boxes and surprise surprise, it's THERE!! AND if he just turned the package over HE WOULD HAVE SEEN MY NAME AND ADDRESS along with my husband's name. The guy didn't even try. He did as little as possible read more

Terrible Customer Service at this location, and I'm extremely disappointed with UPS as a whole, (And yes, I am aware they are 2 separate entities) so I'll target my resentment here, as I have just left the store. And it's 4.25pm on Saturday June 16th, if you'd like to figure out which of your employees just gave me incorrect information. Firstly, i ordered a Package from Amazon, scheduled delivery date was for today, which was great, as I knew I'd be home all day. However, yesterday afternoon, I get a notification on my phone, that UPS had attempted to deliver the package and no one was home, so they'd left a note. I go home to pick up the note, it tells me that they'll drop off the Package at UPS Dimond Store, by 1pm on the next UPS Delivery Day. As this happened on Friday, I wasn't at all certain that the UPS Dimond Store was going to be open, however it was open, so I expected the package would be there. After all, what else are they gonna do with it? So i rush through all my chores today, in an effort to have time to go to UPS and collect my package. I head to the store, and the young lady who is at the desk, checked her computer and said that she did not have a match, and referred me to my UPS Notice, and claimed, it told me that it would be delivered to the store on a weekday. That is an outright blatant lie. There's nowhere on the notice that claims UPS delivers only on weekdays, it just says UPS Delivery Days, and I am not a mind reader, nor do i want to have to do extra homework on their website. UPS delivered this a day early, when i wasn't home, now I have to wait till Monday -- as told to me by the rude employee, who acted as though I had not read my notice correctly. My dear, you are the one who did not read it correctly. You were rude, incorrect, unhelpful, and not a smile to be seen throughout my entire visit, which actually, outrages me. And it's only because i am more compassionate than you, that i did not draw attention to your mistake, or the annoyance of UPS delivering this package a day early, right there in the store. And a small suggestion, from someone who spent many, many years in the Customer Service industry - service with a smile, and a pleasant demeanor, goes a long way to softening the sharp edges of a customers disappointment, when they get some news they don't like. It stops them from leaving a bad review on Yelp. I know criticism stings, however, as a paid employee of UPS, hopefully you'll take mine and use it for the good of your future customers, who actually do deserve the best service you can give them. read more

We have come here numerous times over the last few years for various transactions - picking up a package, dropping off a package, copying from print pages or copying from digital files, posters, etc. and have always been dealt with professionally and courteously. We feel lucky that we have this UPS store in close proximity to where we live. read more

Customer service is terrible. Brittney was less than helpful. I was hung up on the first time I called. When I called back Brittney answered right away, started helping me, was in the middle of "helping" me, when I was placed back on hold. When she came back on the line she told me she needed to help the customers in the store & I could hold if I wanted. This seems backwards to me. Brittney was not interested in helping me in, I was told I would be better off calling the 1-800 number. Seems to me like Brittney didn't want to work today. Providing excellent customer service should be number one. I am disappointed that I couldn't get any of my questions answered & was dismissed. read more

Service was fine but the UPS store policy of not shipping anything remotely gun related even squirt guns, stocks, holsters, etc. seems more politically motivated than anything else, in my opinion. I was trying to ship a stock and was told they are not licences to ship gun related parts or accessories. I can understand if it was guns or FFL items but this goes to far. I did some searching online and this seems to be just a UPS Store policy and nothing to do with UPS . They said they are "not authorized" to ship these items, which makes it sound like some kind of regulation, but dont be fooled, its just their policy. I probably wont use UPS stores this UPS store again for this reason. read more

This location will try to cheat you. They mislable packages with bad addresses and ask you to pay again for the mistakes they make. It may just be an incredibly incompetent staff. Every other option you have is better than this location. read more

Horrible company to work with.....I asked specifically what would be the quickest way to get my papers to Canada, and they charged me $75 to send 3 pages to Canada.....in the end they charged an extra $30 to walk them across the street to USPS after I specially asked them about bringing them over myself. Save your money and take your documents straight to USPS.....it ended up taking 12 business days to arrive. It will now cost me $20,000 more in extra taxes because it didn't arrive in time, and UPS isn't even paying me back the extra $30 that they charged to take the papers to USPS after I asked them if it would be quicker to do so myself. Every time I use this UPS Store I am greeted with a smile and prompt service. Every employee delivers the service I need with understanding, professionalism and knowledge and always with a personable touch. I am more than a customer to them and they treat me as such. They brighten my day, even during their busiest times. I use the store both on weekdays and weekends and am familiar with the staff. Pleasant service, every time.
