This store is the worst!!!! The customer service is awful, no one greets you or is friendly or welcoming at all. When you return an item in a box, like how it was delivered to you they yell at you for not taking the box and if you don't take it with you they leave it outside in the neighboring stores planter boxes. This kid of treatment has happened to me not once or twice but 3 different times now with three different people working. Never again will I go back there! The Paso Robles location is so much better and wonderful customer service! It's worth the 15 min drive in the opposite direction of where I live to go there instead! read more

Not a single employee wearing a mask, and no mask mandate sign out front. I turned around and walked out... my mother is high risk, and these people could obviously care less. I called the manager and she claimed that all of the employees have medical conditions that keep them from wearing masks. Obvious BS. Take your business to Perry's down the road. I had excellent service from the moment I walked into the store and Jessica the manager followed thru with all my requests even though I kept changing my mind as to "can you add this to the pallet, can you add that" many times. None of the precautions the owner has listed are foolproof, as the virus can spread through aerosols that linger in the air long after the unmasked employee leaves, or puts their mask back on. And if these employees cannot breathe with a mask on (a cop-out often used by people with certain political views) then they would likely be very high risk for severe illness if they contract covid and should not be working with the public anyway. I suggest you furlough this employee, allow them to collect unemployment, and find someone who is willing to wear a mask. It really is such a small ask, and our community should not be put at risk because several of your employees are unwilling to make a small change to save the lives of your customers and their fellow employees. read more

Today I went into the store for some Amazon returns. One of the workers, Desirae, was doing a notary. I couldn't help but notice how rude the man she was notarizing for was. Raising his voice, nothing but attitude, and trying to tell her how to do her job. On the bright side of my observation, there was desirae she was kind, calm, informative & patient. She went over the notary several times with the man before he snatched the papers from her hands and took off. I can truly attest and say desirae needs a patience award as many of us customers in line agreed. The man caught the lines attention but more than that we were amazed at how Desirae handled the situation. He raised his voice & had extreme attitude, meanwhile desiraes tone never changed & she did her best to explain & help him understand. I have been helped by Desirae MANY times. She is always super sweet and helpful. I've seen her go out of her way to help customers & her coworkers (even multitasking). She is always doing her best to make sure every customer is taken care of & all their questions are answered. If you are helped by Desirae you are in great hands. 10/10 customer service. Don't go there! I wanted to send a picture frame to my son in socal and they wanted $156 to pack and ship. When I questioned the high price the clerk got mad and basically kicked me out of the store. Lots of people there so they all saw the rudeness and incompetence and unprofessionalism I was shocked but abother store in Paso Robles saved the day. I mailed the package for $30. Even if I was wrong for questioning the price I should not have been treated that way. read more

Good luck getting anything printed at this joke of a business. I went to the UPS Store online on the 15th and submitted a 137-page script to have printed. I went to my local UPS store two days later to pick up the job. It's not printed. The clerk asked about the job, then asked me to wait while she went into her e-mail to find the job, then started asking what type paper I want it on, etc... WHY THE HELL DID I GO ONLINE AND DO ALL THIS ALREADY? They refunded my money, printed the job up incorrectly one-sided (2-sided was what I ordered) and wasted half of my lunch break and whatever time I spent ordering online. The clerk tried to explain how having a machine print copies somehow takes 72 hours if I order online. Trying to use the UPS store for my printing needs was a complete waste of time! read more

I had an order shipped to this UPS store as part of a "free" delivery service. When i picked up the order, the owner had put a note on my package to charge a $5.00 storage fee. This was a very small box of coffee that had only arrived two days before i picked it up. There was never any mention of a storage fee when i selected this location for free pickup. I felt bad for the employee at the store. she had no idea why the owner put the note on my package, and did not know what to do. No reason for me to take it out on her, so i paid the $5.00 and left with my package. this was my first (and last) encounter with this store. This was very unprofessional and unethical. Their own staff could not understand or explain why the charge was made. It was only $5.00, but that is part of what is so maddening, I was not going to leave without my package for $5.00, but it was very aggravating to have to pay to pick up my package. I would not recommend anyone do business with such unethical owners. read more

This business should really have 0 stars. The woman inside was wearing her mask on her chin. When I politely asked her to wear her mask she talked back at me and even said her coworkers don't wear masks. If you see all other reviews you can clearly see others complaining about this too. This business shouldn't even be open if they are not going to look after the safety of their customers. I'm a nurse, my coworkers/nurses have medical conditions, they wear masks. I'm not sure if the poor reviews meant that Mercury was in retrograde on those particular days, but my experiences with this store have been superb. Colton, in particular, went out of his way to continue to fax an important document to a number that was continuously busy. I had to leave for an appointment, so he assured me he would continue to fax it until it went through. And then he called just to confirm that it did. Without charging me a cent beforehand. I followed up by paying for the service over the phone with a credit card. He even offered to email me the receipt. Above and beyond. By miles. Excellent service. read more

I am a senior citizen who walks with a cane. I have a hard time standing for very long. I went into the store to return two Amazon items and have some copies made. I was having trouble finding the return codes on my phone and holding on to the counter. I asked if it was possible to sit in the chair located by the computer. I don't remember the name of the young lady who helped me. She brought the chair over for me to use. I was able to complete the returns. She then made the dozen copies of my three page document. A line was forming. So when she asked about stapling the copies, I said no thank you. She totaled the bill and charged my card. She was so very kind and helpful. I appreciated how well she handled everything with a smile and pleasant voice! I have never been disappointed with the service I have received at this store. But to me this young woman went beyond! When I left, one of the customers waiting even smiled and opened the door for me! There are still people in this world that care!! read more

I'm in this store about 3-4 times a month. Mostly it's to do returns to Amazon. Yesterday I was in there to do a return to another company that had sent the return QR Code through email. I saw the code in my email on my computer at home but when I got to the store my iPhone wouldn't render the code. There was just a blank box where the code should have been. I asked to use the computer in the corner (which wasn't being use at the time) to log into my email so they could scan the code. It would have taken me less than 2 minutes to log-in, have the code scanned off the screen and log back out. I was told I had to pay $3 for the use of the computer. I asked again, pointing out that I didn't WANT to use the computer it was just that I knew for certain that using the computer would give them the code they needed to ship back the package. I was again told "but I still have to charge you $3." I stood there for a few seconds dumbfounded and then left the store. I won't be going back. Customer service is dead there. They lost someone that probably gained them a few hundred dollars a year over 2 minutes of computer use that I literally didn't want to do. I've never had a great experience there but this was the proverbial straw. read more

Just like everyone else, I hate shipping and returning to amazing and this store just changed my entire outlook. I've never had such a seamless, effortless experience until coming into this store. The two gals were so helpful, I only remember Jessica's name, but both were awesome. I had my one year old in my arms so they helped me wrap and tape the box I was shipping. My Amazon returns were the easiest they've ever been and I got my refund within 3 hours of dropping it off! Great experience! I'll be back for all of my shipping needs in the future. read more

I had the best experience with the UPS store in Atascadero. My father passed away last year and I needed to get some special and very fragile items shipped to me from his house in Atascadero to the East Coast. With Covid I could not get to CA. I worked with Jessica the store manager and the experience start to finish was perfect. My items were picked up, packed and shipped by the store - all arrived in perfect condition and packaged extremely well. Communication was flawless and Follow through impeccable - I even got followup to make sure my items arrived and were in good condition. Without hesitation, I would recommend this store for any shipping related needs. And a special shout out to Jessica as I couldn't have done this without her help. read more

Corporate needs to fix the scheduling hours online. Made an appointment online, and when I went in for my appointment I was told that they "tried to email me about the notary not being there on Fridays". The lady in there was apologetic about the mix up, hence the 2 stars instead of one. Not sure how you only try to email someone though, I double checked my email and there was no email from UPS. Was very disappointed in the service I received. I needed to simply send some documents in a folder but needed to include a return label for them to be sent back to me after processing. The UPS employee working told me that she didn't know how to do a return label because she'd only been working there for 2 months... 2 months seems to me to be plenty of time to learn what I'd think is a VERY common need for UPS shipping. I've been to a different UPS store for a similar need and was helped with ease and efficiency. This time was very different and I left with my documents still in hand to try a different UPS store or shipping method, one that can actually get me a return label. read more

I used the UPS Store in Atascadero for a large printing job for a local non profit I work for. This is something we do a couple times a year, we usually need in a quick turn around, and we need it to be cost effective. Jessica at the UPS Store was responsive, wonderful to work with and did everything we needed in a timely and cost effective manner. We will definitely be using them again! The girls in this store are so great! I use UPS for a lot of my printing needs and they get them done so quickly and always recognize me as I'm coming in and grab my prints right away. I won't visit this store again due to the fact that I feel customer service is off track. I went in to drop off a pre-paid package for mailing, and the only thing I needed was a piece of tape to close the package. I was charged $1 for a piece of tape! I understand that businesses need to make money but I feel there are many other ways to make it. Charging for a piece of tape that should be complimentary doesn't feel right to me. read more

I have to agree the girls in this store are amazing! Always greet you with a smile. They are very helpful and always tell you the best way to ship. They go above and beyond. I have received large packages and they have called me to let me know. I have received refund checks in the mail, that I didn't even know I was going to get, all because they processed the claim on mail that didn't get there on time. The month of August, 2011 began well in this little town. I awakened to find the US was not going to default on its debts on August 2. I received a UPS package from Newegg, my favorite online store. I was not deterred from my good mood when I found that neither of the two products in the UPS package would work for me. Historically I am a systems analyst. I am happiest when what I have to do has a well designed procedure system behind it. Newegg really pleased me. They told me what to do to get the package back to them. They explained how long it would take to get my return posted to my bank account. They told me to open the email they just sent me and print the UPS shipping label. Within minutes I had my package together, my shipping label printed and I was on my bicycle headed for the UPS store. I have not lived in this town long. But, I have been impressed with the courtesy of the people here. It inspires me to be courteous too. So I looked forward to my first visit to the local UPS store. I had not sealed my box for fear it might have be reopened for some reason. My shipping label and order form were in the top of the box. I surmised that all that would be necessary would be for the clerk to: a) perhaps see that what was in the box was the contents of the order, apply the shipping label to the appropriate place on the box, C) seal the box with an eight inch strip of packing tape. The clerk told me I could pay a dollar for the application of the eight inch strip of tape or buy a roll of tape. That is when things took a bad turn. I found it incredible that the clerk would charge me a dollar to apply a strip of tape to the box. I assumed the store's profit from the transaction was built into its system and surely they were being reimbursed by UPS. Even if not, were it my store I would gladly apply a strip of tape to win a new customer. I explained that thinking to the clerk. The other clerk jumped into the discussion with a very impolite and hostile "well, NOTHING is free." Had I known the rules I would have sealed the package at home where I have many rolls of tape. I explained that I did not need another roll of tape at what was obviously an exorbitant price and thus would regretfully pay the dollar but would ensure I could live the remainder of my aged life without their services. As I was paying the dollar, a woman in line began to malign me for ruining the store's system and trying to get something for nothing. I suggested it was not her transaction and none of here business. I left the store regretting that I had allowed these people to turn my first day of August into an unpleasant experience. I also asked myself where I went wrong. Should I really feel happy about paying a dollar for an eight inch strip of tape? Should I really feel bad about the transaction and adding more discomfort to the mercantile life of this little town? What do you think? I never will forget the harsh way the second clerk escorted me to the the door and all but said "don't ever come here again." It is a small town and I hope I never have to endure social contact with those clerks or their customer who treated me so hatefully. read more

Specifically the obese manager, a woman with short blonde hair, is rude and knows nothing about the store. Secondly, the employees don't know the difference between copying and printing, which is 15 cents a pg and 25 cents a page. therefore when I asked if I could print something and the employee said 15 cents a pg (for 50pgs), she lied to me. The manager followed me to the parking lot and very rudely proceeded to tell me prices are posted and I wonder if prices are posted why her and her employees don't know what they are. I live out of town and missed the notice it was due and they closed my account and they sent my mail back without attempting to contact me. I pay 12months in advance and could have easily paid over the phone. Very disappointing customer service. read more
