They have some spar packaging and boxes up front in case you need them to send a return or send to another location. They have printing services as well. Hours are Monday through Saturday. Prices are up charged for postal Serb employees cut you want to make sure they k ow how to pack things. Glad I asked. This is a completely different store since new management took over a few months ago. Previously you could print UPS labels for free, which was a nice bonus. Now they charge $2.99 for the first BW page of anything, which is insane. Other UPS stores within 2 miles of this location charge between $0.33 and $0.40 per page. But the MOST insane thing happened today when I tried to ship a 1-pound package to London and they told me the cheapest option was $375! Needless to say I took my package and left. I went home and logged on to PirateShip.com and entered the requisite information, and it produced UPS international options ranging from $29.07 to $59.64 to get my package to London by Thursday. I will never return to this store unless I am dropping off a package that already has a prepaid label affixed to it, though I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to charge me for that, as well. read more

I used to come all time time to ship, drop off, get passport photos. Service was great, prices reasonable. That was before the new ownershoo beginning Dec. 2025. Now I go and they are charging over $3 to print a single page. I get charging to print. Paper and ink cost money. Printing a single 8*10 page with a single blacl barcode on it should not cost over $3. That's truly ridiculous. Also while trying to assist me they are on a personal phone call on speaker. I can barely hear what they are saying to me over what this other person is saying to them and they can't hear me to bother to search the email I sent to them because they are too busy having another conversation. I usually go to this UPS location to return Amazon packages. They are very efficient in scanning my QR code and packaging my items. It usually takes me five minutes or less to return my package. I will say that usually after 5 PM, they do get very busy where the line tends to be very long. read more

We came here on a Monday morning to get a document notarized. I get that it is busy season for them but this store does not appear to put its customer's first. When we came to the store front, there was already a line out the door. We thought they were just overwhelming busy due to Christmas season, but it turns out that there were 2 staff member working the front desk and only 1 was actually helping customers in line. The other guy looked like he was checking in packages. As a result, what should've taken about 5 minutes to do took about 30 minutes due to the long line. The store was also extremely messy with boxes everywhere but I am contributing that to the busy season. However, their floors were also very dirty as it was filled with leaves from the outside and pieces of cardboard. It needed to be vacuum for sure just for presentation purposes. The driver was picking up packages for outgoing when we were in line. I guessed he noticed the line was very long and was nice enough to just take packages from people who already had labels and don't need a receipt for their tracking number. He was nice enough to unload the line for the front desk. This was our first time coming to this UPS store so maybe we were there on an off day, but I saw a lot of room for improvement given just this one time experience with them. read more

However, each time I've been, the staff has greeted me, tended to scanning my packages, and asked if I'd like a receipt (I always do!). The service is quick and easy and I'm in and out in a flash. Went to this store because of the convenient location to return our Spectrum equipment. According to Spectrum and the other UPS store I visited, all we had to do was to drop off our equipment and UPS employee will handle the rest and give us a receipt. While the young lady was very pleasant, she had no idea how to handle the return. She asked for a shipping label or asked if we received an email. According to her, the manager also didn't know how to handle the return of the equipment. I ended up at another UPS store, 3717 Boston St, who in matter of one minute completed the return. She was in disbelief that the employee and manager didn't know how to handle. Maybe some training would required to the manager. Brought a large item to them to pack and ship. They measured the item, calculated material and services needed, and quoted the shipping costs. Three hours later, they called me and stated that they did not have the box. They said that they would ship the item if I brought them the box. Went to another UPS Store, bought a UPS Store box and took it to them. They wanted me to pack the item and pay for material that I already bought from them. Then, they tell me it's not a UPS Store box. They were not going to pack the item I paid them to pack and ship! They really didn't want to ship the item because they made a mistake in their quote by about 200% according UPS and other stores. They got what they wanted, me out of their store. Could people at this location care any less about the service they provide? $5 was a small fee to pay for them to hold my UPS packages for me to pick up so that UPS didn't deliver them to my stoop in Federal Hill and leave them there to be stolen when they are marked "not authorized to leave without signature". That was my wedding dress....thanks UPS, but that's a different review. So yeah, $5 to have them hold a package for me to pick up and all we get is consistently crappy service. 1. Today, they told me that I can't pick up my husband's package because I'm not him. This hasn't ever been a problem before, but ok, i get it. So I mention the website says that if I show the delivery notice (which I have), that they should be able to give it to me. No dice. The lady says while that's UPS's policy, it's not their policy...i thought THEY were UPS! 2. Last time I went in there, they asked if I could let them know before a large package is delivered for them to hold because "it takes up space and we weren't expecting it and the driver had to drive around until we could find a spot for it." oh and that they're trying to get their re-certification as a UPS store. Sorry, but don't be a UPS store then. If you don't have the space to offer the services, I dunno, figure it out! I have to figure shit out all day as part of my job, so don't ask me to do yours for you or, at the very least, pay me to do your thinking. 3. There's this little dog that runs around the store and EVERY single time I go in there, my allergies kick up. He's not behind the counter, but is running around and rubbing up against my calves. Should i have to think "wait, is this UPS store going to have a dog" before I send my package there? 4. They close at 7 on week nights. Walk up at 6:45 or 6:50 and I GUARANTEE, the lights will be off and the door locked. It's kind of like they're saying, "Hey, $*%@ you! Smart aleck jokester dip weeds. I needed to return four batteries (60lbs ea) that I bought through Amazon. I also needed boxes as the original boxes had been damaged in shipping. I carried one battery in and asked if they could box it and ship it. I was told yes and was quoted $32 per box. I gave Britney all my information and then went outside to get the other batteries. Four trips all together. After I had brought the last one in, the other clerk who had just sat there watching me bring them in one at a time said, "Yeah. We don't ship batteries." I said it would have been nice for him to have mentioned that when I brought the first one in. He seemed to think it was all one big funny joke. Strange. I wasn't at all amused. Britney was very apologetic and offered to help carry the batteries. Each one would have been easily half her body weight so I declined. Her moron partner just laughed. FEDEX from now on. I'm not sure where the FEDEX store is and this UPS store is just around the corner, but after this I'm a loyal FEDEX customer. read more

The is the worst UPS store in the world. I asked to have an envelope of paperwork shipped overseas to an island, which should be pretty simple for UPS, and they absolutely botched this up and continue to botch it up. The young man at the front desk who took my envelope told me that he was going to send it USPS. When I questioned why he would be shipping this USPS as I pretty sure that USPS does not deliver on the island, he arrogantly told me that it is because that is what his system told him to do and that he assured me it would get there. I requested that the envelope shipping come with tracking of course and again told him that I was concerned that this was not the correct method of shipment. In short, it has now been about 1 month, the envelope was never received to the recipient, and the tracking has been completely ineffective. I then received a VM today from the Store Manager at this UPS store, and she stated that this envelope cannot be tracked since it was sent with USPS and she "hopes that answers my question". Yes, sure... you sent my package the wrong method, you said it would be trackable and now you are saying it isn't, the package is lost somewhere in the world, and you hope that answers my questions. I called the Store Manager back several times at their main number, and it just rings and rings until it goes into an answering machine that says "please leave a message". They aren't even professional enough to state in their voice-message that you have called UPS on Fort Avenue in Federal Hill, etc. I eventually was able to get a conversation with the Store Manager, and after investigation, she confirmed that they incorrectly shipped my important envelope via USPS and that they should have never shipped in that way. I appreciated the final acknowledgement and admission of the huge error on their part, but even more shocking is that then the store owner (Alex) had to evaluate and approve the credit for the amount I paid them for this disaster, but "only after I bring my receipt in to the store". And Alex is only willing to credit me what I paid them to screw up my shipment, which is about $25, but she will do nothing else to help me with this situation. To say this is insulting is an understatement. Save yourself a huge headache and DO NOT EVER go to this UPS store. They are a complete train-wreck. The store owner Alex does not care about you or her other customers, and as you can see from all the other negative reviews on this store, you will be taking a huge risk in being the next disaster in their long line of mistakes. read more
