So, the nightmare for every college student just happened to me. Amazon messed up. I got the wrong textbook and I had to reorder a new one and return the one. Asked for statistics for psychology and ended up with psychology and life. When I had to return it, I felt anxious about the process because I had never had to do anything like this before. I was lucky enough to get Jessica Briones on the phone for me and she assisted me when I asked if they can print out Amazon's return label. Not only did she assist me in informing me that they do in fact do so for a very small fee, she remembered me when I arrived and I received a warm welcoming face after feeling so defeated. We had a good experience with Jess and Madison. After arriving at the UPS store with 4 large boxes to return to Amazon, we were told we need 4 separate QR codes that Amazon hadn't supplied us with. It was 6:50 and they were closing in 10 mins. I immediately called Amazon to supply me with the codes, and after a 30 min runaround with Amazon finally received all the codes needed. Jess and Madison were gracious enough to stay late to wait for me to get the codes, and accept our large packages so we didn't have to pack them back in our car and come back another day. I been a customer of the UPS Store for many years in Meridian Street, Bellingham WA The location goes over and above the call of duty day after day. There's a great team in place .. that can handle the needs of shipping and / receiving of goods on your behalf. It was my first time returning a package and i was slightly nervous bc i didn't know what to expect. I was greeted by three very nice, silly, uplifting, and hardworking individuals. I did not have a shipping label printed, so i asked if they could print me one to which they said it would cost me around $4. This was fine, except for the fact that i had forgotten my wallet at home :/ I had apple pay, but the software they were using didnt support it. I recently visited this location to return some items via happy returns, and I had a great experience. The employee helping me, Bina, was extremely courteous, informative, and efficient. He made the entire process quick and easy, and his professionalism stood out. What impressed me even more was how Bina handled a difficult customer just before it was my turn. Despite the situation being tense, he remained calm, respectful, and composed throughout. It's not always easy to manage those kinds of interactions, but he did it with patience and professionalism. Let's just say I wasn't super excited with a line out the door for my ups drop off COVID test. When I finally got to the counter and was greeted by Caitlin who immediately recognized I was dropping off a COVID test. She grabbed it and ran out the door to catch the overnight van which had just left. Anyone who has just spent 20 minutes trying to have a 6 yr old spit into a cup while being videoed understands the stress created to try to get that out on time. I don't know if there is a new owner here or new management but the customer service here is absolutely horrible. They are rude they talk over you when you call them on the phone they want you to listen to them speak but they refuse to listen to you speak. I would never go here again I would never recommend coming here. Again I don't know if it's new management or ownership but they are horrible. If I could add one more star to this review I would. Alex and his team helped me facilitate at large 58 package order, on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. Not to mention, our internet at the shop had went out. They arranged my shipments, printed my labels, and even helped me haul everything over (I'm nearby). Great is an understatement. I have had my business mailbox here for 8 years and I have been more than happy. The staff are friendly and efficient and have implemented strategies to address COVID concerns that make me feel safe. I am always impressed with the team as a whole. I had to send back packages for Christmas. There was a long line when I stepped in. But they kept the line moving, and I was to the front super quick. The manager was right there working and had a great attitude and extremely helpful. Her asst. Manager also was just kind and helpful to those of us that don't normally do this. Very greatful to them. Very poorly run UPS Store. Untrained staff and a huge lack of customer service. I will never darken their doors with my presence again... This is the third time they have disappointed me, I will not give them the chance again. A second, well-run UPS Store with trained staff is in the south end of town.
