Tracking # 1Z4435Y34205739281 I am writing this summary of what I have done to find the package that was not delivered to the correct address. On 2/1/24 I sent a package to Nikon Warranty, 6420 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 100 Los Angeles, CA 90048-6687. I sent this with insurance and requesting a signed delivery. I Had not heard from them about the warranty repair by 4/3/24 so I sent them an email asking for the status of the repair. I received an email back on 4/3/24 telling me they had not received the package. I ran a proof of delivery on 4/3/24 and was given a response it was delivered on 2/6/24 and signed by a TOI. I called Nikon on 4/4/24 to ask who TOI was that had signed for the package. I was told at that time they don't have a TOI working for them not by name or initials. I contacted UPS by phone approx. 4/5/24. I let them know the package did not reach Nikon. I was told by the customer service rep that they would make a trip out to the location and see if they could pick up the package. I was told this could be a few days and they would send it back to the UPS store I had shipped it from. This could take a week or so. I went to the UPS store and let them know that a package should be sent back to them within the next week. I waited about 10 days and returned to the UPS store and asked about the package, I was told they had not received it. At this point the customer service rep called UPS to inquire about the package. They were told it had been delivered and they did not see any activity that they had made an attempt to pick up the package in CA. The UPS store asked me to wait another week to make sure the package would not come back to the store. Around 5/6/24 I went back to the store to see if it had arrived. It had not. The UPS store gave me a couple of UPS phone numbers to call to see if They could see what was happening. The UPS store said they could not do anything else for me. During the week on 5/6/24 I attempted to call UPS on the 800 lines several times. I was never able to talk to an actual live person. Each time when I gave them the tracking # I was told this # could not be found and would hang up on me. I went to the UPS distribution center in Tulsa on 5/13/24. I gave them all the information and was told it would take a few days and I should get a call or email with what had been found out about the package. I went back to the UPS Dist center on 5/20/24 because I had not heard from anyone. At this point they told me an investigation had been started and They could not help me any further. I would have to deal with the 800 number. I called 4 different UPS 800 number on 5/20/24. Every time when given the tracking # it said they could not help me that the tracking # was not valid. At this point it is not looking good that the package will be found. I have spent more time in trying to get this found than it is worth. I'm extremely frustrated that I'm not getting any help from UPS, and being ran around in circles. I need to know if the package is truly lost and can not be found, than I need to file a clam for the insurance I put on the package. I would appreciate someone with UPS to contact me to let me know what can be done. Update, I finally got a response on 6/11/24: "Good day. I hope all is well. I am following up to let you know that the claim was approved and has been issued due to several attempt back to the location that weren't successful. The claim paperwork was sent to your email which is needed to process your claim for payment, you will receive it within the next 90 minutes. Once received please fill out the paperwork and send all necessary documents to our claims department. Please note that you can also attach the paperwork here with the original invoice to this email thread and I will forward it to the claims department on your behalf. Each attempt sent me to another page that told me I need to file the claim in another location, when I filed the claim in the next location it would send me back to the starting point and continue to do this. I also sent the info to Jannetta from UPS and never go a response from her again. I Went to the UPS store and gave them all the info I had gathered to this point. Now waiting about a month I'm now being told the claim can not e filed due to not filing it in time. But I have been trying for over 3 months to get the package back or file the claim.
