First off very caring and professional staff. Absolutely good folks here, will help a rookie or veteran shipper. Customer service wise, it is hard to beat the UPS company. That tradition continues at this location, and if a new shipper, you can do it here. Parking is slightly interesting. Be defensive minded here. This strip mall location isn't a cinch. That grates on me slightly. Also I would acknowledge, they've raised costs significantly. Do shop around. Time is money, and I have been satisfied by efficiency and tracking. These are good features. Terrible experience with an inept manager Ryan Campbell. Unable to process a poster order. First off, unable to cancel poster order within 24 hours of placing the order. Unreasonable expectation that since it was already "made" that $60 had to be paid. Second off, was told in email that it would be delivered and available a certain day only to go into the store and it not be available or even ready for pick up. I found my way to this location on several occasions. I've never had to wait a long time! The service is prompt and the workers are polite. JD helped me and recommend some boxes I need to move. I appreciated his kindness and helpfulness. When I need UPS store services I'll likely find a way to go to the Burke store every time. Staff at the UPS store in Burke, VA, 5765-F Burke Centre Pkwy, Burke, VA 22015, was incredibly rude and ignorant of shipping regulations and UPS policies. I tried to ship a competition air rifle for servicing and was told a flat out no, they will not be shipping any guns. Staff did t even hear me out or look at the barrel. The UPS Store in Burke is a convenient place to drop off prepaid UPS packages. I've used it several times for returning various items. Pack and label the box at home and all one has to do is hand it to a counter person. They will supply a receipt and tracking information if needed. The store also sells packaging materials. You can also arrange for UPS shipment here if the item is not prepaid. They will also pack the item for a charge. During the Coronavirus, masks are required and social distancing space marked on the floor. read more

This location is conveniently located in Burke and has a lot of close parking. I personally appreciate that they have enough employees to keep lines moving so there is rarely a wait more than a few minutes. The owner is super helpful as well as all of her employees. It is clear that she has created a great work atmosphere for everyone to thrive in! This location serves as an Amazon return point! You can purchase all of your shipping supplies here and/or you can have them pack your things. The staff at this store can always be relied upon to be helpful, friendly and able to solve whatever challenge you place before them. I use them a lot for their notary public services, and it's important to me that they always have someone there who is able to do that. Never once have I had them say, Oh, yeah, George can do that but he's at lunch. Yesterday we went there to drop off two large boxes with return labels and the young man who served us was very friendly and knew just what to do. He even made sure the boxes had extra tape on them so they would ship safely, which was important to us. Paid $59 for overnight delivery of envelope 500 miles from VA. Took more than 2 days. They failed to notify me; I only discovered their failure when they missed delivery and I suffered the consequences. I asked for a refund and one week later I've received $0. I only get the runaround from the store ("We're not UPS" and "The plane was delayed") and the runaround from Corporate on the phone ("You might get a refund in 10 more days"). I prefer to deal with companies who accept responsibility for their failures and stand behind their products and services. Poor value and lack of accountability. I should have used USPS or FedEx. read more

I was looking for a place to have my daughter's wedding invitations printed. He is very knowledgeable and guided me through the process. Ryan took the design of the invitation, accommodation, belly band, RSVP, and the thank you cards and printed them off using 4 types of card stock. I have been coming here for years (I mean when it used to be another mailbox place!) I've had a mailbox here for 8-9 years and I am always greeted with a smile and they help with whatever I need. A few times I've received perishable items and if they haven't seen me in s few days, they will call me so that I know something needs to be picked up in a timely manner. They always help me take packages to the car and I've sent faxes and heed the notary service before too. They do get super busy during the holidays (that mail place doesn't!) patience is a virtue lost on many. read more

Open promptly at 9, ask for my phone number, ask if it is being sent to a previous location, click and I am out of there at a very reasonable price. Employees have all been helpful and courteous. I came in today to drop off a couple of prepaid boxes. I was told that I would have to wait in the very long line in order to drop it off. What is the point of going through the effort of doing it online when it isn't going to save me any time. I have been doing this for years and have never had to wait in line to do the drop. At the very least they could have an express line. I had to wait behind many people who still had to have their packages boxed up, addressed, weighed, etc. it was the most ridiculous waste of my time. There were 3 young men working, certainly one of the could expedite things for your online customers. Dropping my package to a few seconds. I was not the only one upset by this. I would recommend that if you need to ship during the holidays do not use the UPS STORE in Burke. read more

I have been shipping packages from this store for over 11 years and have always had a great experience! The staff is always helpful with any of my needs (and I always have a lot!) and every package has been to it's destination on time. (For Lydia M. even if you ship packages in state they can be routed to different places regardless of its destination. I ship packages in VA all the time to my customers and they always goto another state first, I guess thats just how it works, no point in crying and calling names if your package arrived on time right???) The folks at the USP store are very good. They don't hassle you if your box needs a little packing tape. They always offer you a receipt. If you need help lifting a box they always offer to help. I high recommend their services. read more

Zero stars--they're so rude (well not all just one particular lady) --------------- Edit: It's not the mere fact that my package was lost (I completely understand these things happen and it was not the fault of anyone at the Burke UPS location)--but the way the issue was resolved was a bad experience. The tone of the person I spoke with was that of annoyance and sometimes I even heard comments in the background (like "yea, it's her...") which furthered my suspicion that I was viewed by the lady as being a pest. And regarding the refund. I paid for a service expecting my package to arrive in less than a week but instead it arrived 1 month later. Why does UPS charge a premium for faster shipping if, when the package is significantly late, the company will just just fall back on the excuse , "Well you got it, didn't you?" and just give you $20... after a month of thinking that my package was lost and not knowing if it'll ever arrive, I already began replacing the things I needed from my shipment. This is more of a beef w/ the UPS policy and has nothing to do with the Burke store. The 1 star stands just stands for poor customer service. read more

There is no customer service at UPS. They are as bad as the post office. Maybe worst.

I needed to get a Notary signature and package shipped. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is my go to place for shipping.

I had a very good experience here and I will be coming back for sure. I had to send a DHL package, and that's not always smooth or easy. I went to Fairfax UPS and they gave me insanely high price with little alternatives. So I decided to try this store. Luckily, a young guy here was awesome at his job! He saved me 40 dollars and did the whole thing very fast. There's nothing I love more than people who are good at what they do! read more

The convenience due to where we live is great but the staff in here is super helpful. I have bee to other UPS stores and staff makes all the difference. They are fast, friendly and they tell you which service is cheapest. I have come in unprepared- my package was halfway wrapped and packed and they are so helpful. Not trying to upsell you expensive packing supplies either. Customer Service is key in the world of retail and service and this little store gets it. I needed a document notarized so I went there since it's close. I was pleasantly surprised. The notary was a very nice older woman. I was in and out of there in 3 minutes. My only issue is that it cost $5!! One piece of paper! Anyway, I would rate their customer service as a 5 but pricey. read more

I took in a small package to send to Baltimore. Cost me $20 to pack and send but I-was ok with it. Several days later I tried to "track" the package to no avail. Called store and was told driver probably forgot to scan it? Really??? Not a good enough answer and a really good reason never to use them again. read more
