I couldn't understand a word that guy said at the counter but they accepted my pre-paid packages and give me a receipt to prove I dropped it off, so I am good for now. Hopefully the package reaches. The shopping center is conveniently located in cornerstone - there is boba tea and pizza next door if the workout from package drop off has you a bit hungry. Lady told me the outrageous price asked for my number and ignored me to take the woman behind me. I left, I'm busy and I don't have all day to wait for this. Maybe it's because I'm used to usps but the amount they wanted to charge was outrageous. I only went in because it was close to my apartment but I won't bother going back in. Update Dec 2025: A convenient location BUT.....a few issues: 1) Parking is terrible especially when the driver of brown UPS truck cannot even park between the white lines! Maybe a newly licensed driver? 2) UPS driver puts all the bags with packages on the sidewalk! So much for porch pirates! 3) Getting to the door to enter, a large rock is a hazard other customers have complained and now another. Use an adjustable hinge at the top or put leg attached on the door to prop it open either are less hazardous than tripping. 4) Plug in fragrance and excess colognes are nauseating-might be UPS driver and employees but offensive with smells that overwhelm as I had an asthma attack, not cool. Generally, the staff are kind and welcoming but sometimes I feel otherwise and this is problematic given the nature of the business. Please escalate to management for UPS driver to park out back and leave spaces for customers. Also, the UPS vehicle is in need of tires! Seems like UPS safety is not a top priority....hopefully it is with easy fixes! 3 stars read more

I came in to drop off an Amazon return at the worst time. There was a terribly rude customer in front of me who seemed to expect the UPS employee to package a huge item for her without charging her for the work. The UPS employee handled it very well and did his best to get her transaction taken care of while the line behind me continued to grow just 10 minutes before closing on a Sunday. Once she was finally finished, the employee was able to get my transaction done in about 10 seconds. I'll definitely be back and hopefully with kinder customers next time. read more

This is our go-to store for all UPS needs, notary needs and even dropping off the USPS mails which they do a courtesy for everyone. The staff is always friendly, helps with answering all questions patiently. One time the notary even called me back to explain the system for international processes even though he didn't have to go out of the way. My packages always get delivered on time or early when I use their location- probably because they are our good luck charms! read more

I should start by saying this store changes ownership very frequently. This review is for the ownership as of February 2023. I do not recommend this store under its current ownership. I have rented a mailbox at this location for over five years now, and always had great service and no issues. However unfortunately the experience has changed drastically with the new ownership. I had two unfortunate incidents just this week: 1. I often have packages delivered to my mailbox. This week, one of my packages was put into the wrong mailbox, and in turn was "lost". Proof of delivery from FedEx showed it went to the wrong box. When I called the UPS Store to inquire, the employee on the phone could not find the package (obviously). I asked for them to look in the system and check if the customer with the other mailbox had picked up any packages that week. I was told that they could not check that because they "didn't have access to the system". I asked who could, and I was told that a manager would call me back. I never heard back. 2. After having a replacement sent for the above "lost" package, I went into the store to pick it up. As usual I walked in, went to my mailbox, grabbed the slip, and quietly waited off to the side for an available associate to grab the package for me. A worker came over, asked me my box number, and told me i had to go to the back of the line, which happened to be out the door that day. I explained to the worker that I rent a mailbox and asked if she could please just quickly grab the package like they normally do, and was again pointed to the back of the line. I left, because I didn't have 30 minutes to wait in line, and was frustrated with the way they treated me as a long-time customer. When I came back later, I was rudely told that this is "new policy", and that the only reason I was able to pick up my packages for the past five years without waiting in line was because the former employees were doing the wrong thing and "well they no longer work here anymore". I again asked how I could get in touch with the owner or manager to discuss, and was told someone would call me. Again I have heard nothing. So long story short, if you're looking to rent a mailbox (or get any other services for that matter), skip this location until it's under new ownership. There's several other UPS Stores in the area (they're all individually owned), and also other stores that provide the same services and will respect their long-time customers. read more

I rented a box here because of the location. I have a Cary address, therefore, I wanted to have a box in Cary where I could get my packages without fear of someone taking them from my doorstep. I would recommend that you go to the Morrisville location instead. The people at this location do not scan the packages in a timely fashion. I have received notifications from Amazon that a package was delivered, but I will not receive a notification from this location until later in the evening. I pay to receive my packages early, but then I have to wait a day because the packages are not always scanned when they are received. Furthermore, many of the folks at this location are not very good communicators. They seem to be afraid to speak to people. If you call and ask questions, they do not provide all of the information unless you ask. How should someone know what questions to ask if they are not familiar with the process? When I go to the Morrisville location, the folks there are very fast and provide the information necessary to make the appropriate decisions. read more

The associates working in the store are a mixed bag. Often rather scary. My fears were confirmed when i returned Amazon packages in April and Amazon never received them. This store cant seem to track the packages from the numbers they gave us. Will always go to apex or Morrisville from now on for better stores. This UPS Store is the absolute worst. First of all, the carrier in my area is too lazy to take my packages to the front office or storage locker area when I'm not home, they simply drop the packages at this UPS Store location. What an ordeal. They are so inconsistent at this store. Half of the time, I need no ID at all to pick up a package, just my slip left on the door. Other times, I'm usually in uniform, and they accept my government issued work ID to pick up my packages. Today takes the cake though. The manager, Yolanda, an extremely incompetent and socially awkward individual, refused to let me pick up my package with this ID. The same ID that allows me to breeze through security at any airport in the country without even a boarding pass, the same ID that allows me to cash a check at the bank or open an account - I couldn't use to pick up a package containing a $12 pair of Nike shorts!? And what makes it even worse - is that she wouldn't even really look at my ID, she half glanced at it hanging on a lanyard around my neck and said it wasn't acceptable - company policy ... despite the fact that I've used it probably 10 other times in the past two months. So UPS company policy states that they can't accept a picture ID issued by a government agency in order to pick up a package!?!? Wrong. This girl is obviously somewhat unintelligent. Just really terrible customer service. Rude, disrespectful and unapologetic - just insisted that it was policy to not accept my GOVERNMENT ISSUED WORK IDENTIFICATION. Pitiful. This woman should never be in a management position anywhere. read more

I've been dropping things off at this store for more than a year, UPS packages and US mail, and have never been offered a receipt for anything dropped off. A recent package I dropped off has not reached its destination. They have no explanation nor any record of the package at all. I'm told there's nothing they can do. When asked how it can be prevented in the future, they said, we can give you a receipt when dropping off, so it's in the system. Really?!? Perhaps if you had been doing so all along, I wouldn't be out the money for the package you lost!!! Terrible customer service!! read more

The guy doesnt do a good job of getting your info right and now I have to go through a lot of trouble getting the problem fixed so that ups delivers to the right address.
